Since the voice work for this fan-made movie is taken from the official audio book adaptation so it's very faithful, with most of the dialogue being verbatin from the original novel. One of the few parts skipped is a minor subplot about a priest who falls off that giant walking church and has a couple of adventures around the city.

Well, it skips a lot in honesty.
The Dock Defense as well as Andrej's squad adventurers, Andrej's growing relationship with Grimaldus, the Shadow Wolves, the importance of The Black Sword, Grimaldus' prolonged struggle to outgrow Mordris' shadow, most of the stuff in Oberon's Vault, most of Invigilata's involvement, Grimaldus' evolutions into The Grey Warrior, the other 94 Templars, most of the buildup in the Temple Sector, the creation of Godbreaker, Basarath's last stand etc.
I absolutely LOVE the movie, but I always recommend people read or listen to the book too! It is a very faithful movie and about as close to a 10/10 as you can stuff into 2 and a half hours, but they did have to sacrifice a lot of story to make it work.

That "walking church" is at least 100 meters tall. It's an Imperator-class Titan.

and to think that during the Golden Age of Tech, Humanity had those in the Millions, even bigger and faster ones, fully autonomous. Some of them were so big, they could be seen from Orbit. And still Humanity used them as cannon fodder.
