This story reminds me of the young lady who was being issued a ticket for speeding. As the cop was finishing up the ticket, the entitled young woman said to him, "I thought you all didn't give tickets to women who were beautiful." He said to her, "We don't. Here's your ticket." That cop is my hero!

Drinking & Driving is one thing that there is absolutely ZERO excuses for. I USED to think my dad was a little over cautious, even if he had 1 drink from his beer, he absolutely refused to drive. He didn’t care, if it was 1 drink from a beer & driving down the road, he absolutely refuses to drive (I use past tense bc he doesn’t drink anymore. He wasn’t ever a heavy drinker, just when he would be working outside all day, he would have a beer or two after he was done). I/we would tell him “Dad your fine to drive. Your not under the influence, legally your fine” but he absolutely refused to. He would either have me drive him to town if he needed to go (or my mom or sister) or he would just tell us what he needed. Now that I’m older I have so much more respect for him for NEVER driving. He said it was NEVER worth the risk of hurting someone else, himself or risking loosing his license. Just one more reason why I have so much love & respect for that man.

@jlau9268 yeah man I've been treated good most times even when doing wrong i.e. driving without a license I was able to go to court obtained a license and then it was done, but then I got pulled over with my gf with about 7 cops cars and them all drawing weapons on is because someone called about seeing a gun leaving the Walmart parking lot...at the head of the 7 car brigade guess who it was? A female cop who pulled over the completely wrong description of vehicle meanwhile they made my girl lift up her shirt in the middle of the most busy intersection in town embarrassing her all because this lady cop can't follow directions. I was so ticked they ended up apologizing after the fact but the damage was already done honestly everytime I see a cop I get nervous now cause I don't have to be doing anything wrong for them to pull me over is what I think

This is the one crime I hate above all others because there's no reason a person needs to drive when their drinking especially in today's world with so many ways to get around. I have no pity on these people especially the ones I've arrested more then once for DUI. The punishment should be more severe especially for repeat offenders. Actually there IS a video of a college student athlete who passed the field test and then blew a 0.00. The officer then said he could "tell" the kid was under the influence and he "smelled weed", then arrested the kid, whi stated he didn't smoke weed and the university took regular drug tests. After getting to the station, another breathe test was taken AND a test for other drugs, including THC and the all came back negative.
That kid could've sued, but I think he only filed a complaint.
