You have to hand it to Motley Crue’s manager for being so cool and letting Steve-O come back stage to meet the band and giving him 5th row tickets. You figure, that is literally the opposite of what most big band managers would do. Most managers would have told him off and to stay the eff away from the hotel. That’s really cool of him to reward the kid for his persistence.

After listening to him in several interviews you can see it was a huge part of his life and making him the man he is today. You have to go through the darkest cave and then you’ll witness the brightest light when you make it through
I respect the fuck out of steve o man, dudes been so strung out on drugs I thought he was going to die any day, glad he's healthy now it genuinely makes me happy, he seems like a good dude
This story is cool as hell. I have a similar story (definitely not as cool as Steve-O). Anyway, back in 1998 I wanted to go see Metallica in Atlanta. I was 14 and my dad said no. I said “what if I win tickets off the radio?” he said “deal” and laughed but shook my hand. The day of the concert the radio station played 3 Metallica songs really fast and blended them together. I used a tape and recorded it. I called in, named the 3 songs, and won 2 tickets. You should have seen my dads face when I told him he had to take me to see Metallica on a Friday night! We went and had a blast (I think my Dad just suffered through it) The best part was we were in the 10th row
Stevo's dad is a smart guy. The way he taught his son the importance of motivation and consistency in life was creative and impressive. Little did he know that would be the foundation for his sons success..
When you decide to do something and take responsibility to commit to this til the end, it brings so much power. I can see in Steve-O's eyes the significance of this event and the good learning experience he got with his will power.
For all the drugs he's done, all the stupid shit he does, and for how old he is now, I gotta admit, Steve-O looks fucking great! For a guy over 40, who's done a mind blowing amount of physical damage to himself, and abused a mind blowing amount of drugs, he could easily pass for a dude in his early 30's.
Will Engle it probably helps that he's been sober for over half a decade, eats healthy, exercise and is also pretty rich enough to get his teeth maintained
With all the damage done to his brain from all the drugs, aging is the least of his worries. He's great physically and most important mentally. Surprised to see how good his memory is honestly.

I have a similar story with meeting Steveo a few years back. He came to my hometown to a 21+ comedy club and I was 16 or 17 at the time. Ended up running into the manager of the comedy club, she took us up to the show and let all the security know that we were with her. The manager ended up kicking 2 people out of their seats so we could watch the show. Then the manager put us first in line for the meet and greet. Told steveo the story and he thought it was awesome. Definitely something I’ll remember for life.
