@@sykosixx I like your comment guidelines. You should add a few more. Instant delete for anyone who feels the need to post another nonsense backing tracks comment. Anyone who doesn't know what a hammer on or pull off is and says John 5 is faking his guitar playing instant delete. Anyone who thinks the dude who actually wrote Motley's songs some like 40 years ago somehow doesn't actually play the bass. Last delete anyone who still makes comments about Vince's weight when they haven't realized the dude is probably 30-40 lbs less than he was at the start of the stadium tour and for a 60 year old is actually now in decent shape. Oh yeah also in case there is one person who thinks Tommy just air drums back there for 90 minutes but doesn't actually hit the drums. You know the slickster that caught a video of a drum count in for 1 second and thought Tommy was then miming the drums

I'm so glad I was in my late teens and 20s in the 80s. I saw MC twice. Concerts were affordable and wild and fun. I had an 87 IROC, took the T-tops off and drove around all the time blasting MC, Judas Priest, Ozzy, Sabbath. It was an unforgettable time.

I saw the Dr Feelgood tour in Memphis... wish I had seen some earlier tours as well. Would have loved to see the Shout tour but I would have only been 12 at the time. But yeah it was so much more affordable back then. I don't remember the exact price of that ticket but it wasn't more than 20 bucks. Motley Crue were completely dead 1995 - 1999. They were hated along with most all other hair bands. It simply was not cool to listen to their music or request them to be played on Z rock. I played their CD's all through the 90s, as loud as my stereo would go, I hated the alternative music. I went to their concert sometime in the 90s in Sacramento, half full at the most. Tommy Lee did a disappearing magic trick act on stage. I think the Crue carnival of sins circus tour revived their career.

😮 Fred Saunders, who began working tour security for Motley Crue in the 1980s, recalled his time with the band in Nikki Sixx's 2007 book, "The Heroin Diaries: A Year in the Life of a Shattered Rock Star": "When (band manager) Doc McGhee first hired me, he said the band was so wild I should do whatever it took to keep them in line. In fact, he said he'd give me a bonus every time I hit them. I told him he'd got himself a deal. I hit Motley a lot. I once broke Tommy's nose in Indiana." 😬😧

I've been a rock fan since I was little, I always listened to the mainstream artist at the time like the Red Hot chili peppers and the Foo fighters but the accurate portrayal of the artist really made me want to dive more into Mötley Crüe's music. Now I can't stop listening to ' looks that kill' & have seen the movie at least 300 times. I can't get enough. It makes me wish I was born in the '60s so I could actually experience the age where my kind of music really popped off.

You kids who think you know everything because you read it in a book have no idea because you lack the experience. You will never know what its like to get into your beater car or hotrod (whichever you own) and blast Motley Crue on the radio cruising down the road looking for chicks and something to do on the weekend (a party, a place to drink, a place to make out with your chick, etc...) Radio and jamming tapes and later CDs were how you lived your life when you werent at school or at work. MTV was so big that everything you ever wanted in music and rock n roll was right there and we lived it and loved it man! Concerts were always bragged about by wearing your tshirt you bought there the next day at school! The 80s was the baddest, most creative, innnovative time to be alive and we lived it and loved every second both the good and the bad! Motley Crue was a big part of that lifestyle and the rocker image! Who are any of you to question anything about them when you can never experience what they have? I get the curiosity and that is well understood. But to the haters: You guys you dont get it! You werent there man!

At this point it is hard to tell if the events were exagerated, Corabi and Tom Werman said that they exagerated a lot of things in order to appear more radical and cool. And that most of the time they were high or drunk so maybe their imagination runned wild.

I guess Nikki wanted to appear cool and edgy.
Also, what about all of the nonsense about Nikki being a punk kid?
In every picture he's ever shown, he looks like he's trying to look like Peter Frampton or Leif Garrett.
And then there's the nonsense about Mick being into Jeff Beck. Something that is refuted by people who knew him...Mick was obsessed with Greg Allman and the brothers.

However, without all the worldwide hate, everyone wanted to party and have fun politics was boring and stupid where it should be. Kids were kids, girls loved men, and having boyfriends was a priority to women having a chick was awesome. I could go on and on. Today is sad. Really, people need to chill out!
