Ozzy has no recolection of the entire 80s. He has said that he went to sleep 1979 and wake up again 1990.
Well yeah between drugs, booze and now he has Parkinson's so it makes sense
😭😭
LMAO
It’s a lie what he means to say is after Randy died I truly lost all fucks to give
I read that he also had no recollection of the 80's too.
The movie should’ve been at least 2 and half hours
Yeah, I was kinda surprised that is was only an hour and 50 minutes
Agreed didn’t want the movie to finish lol
It should have been a mini series!!
30+ years in an hour and 50 minutes???
They should make a part 2
"10 things that Mötley Crüe put in the movie because they produced it."
Thats what im saying and they even said at parts "this didnt happen" or "they got cut from the movie"
She says the stuff like she’s exposing them. She’s like “The song Vince Neil was singing. Wasn’t even OUT YET I CAUGHT YOU” lol like who cares it’s an insignificant 10 seconds in the movie who cares what he’s singing
@@miles7235 and when she said that livewire wasnt even written I was just like "wtf are you talking about, that was one of the first songs nikki wrote and him and tommy would play it over and over even before they found mick or vince
Lmao you're totally right dude, from my point of view, it's an adaptation from a book, of course some things are gonna change for a more emotional story 😂
after those paramedics saved sixx’s life irl i imagine they were just as happy as in the movie
and the paramedic was white.. they played race card for todays libbys.. sad..
I read that one of them was a Crue fan
ASSASSINALEX GAMING did u know slash saved Nikki’s life by putting him in the shower until paramedics showed up
@@bradyplayz8971 wasn't that another od episode of nikki? He od'd more than once
Brady Playz interesting, didn’t know that!
I read the book like 10 years ago. Honestly, the movie should have been super long or they should have made it into a little series with like 8 episodes. I liked the movie! But the movie doesn’t do the book justice. The book is insane! Lol
Damn now I want to read it and I never read books lol
Im with ya. Should have been longer. I actually thought the movie was just ok.
Agree, I had thought the Netflix movie was going to be a 4 part series but I guess they just crammed it into 1 movie.
I haven’t read the book but even just watching the movie it seemed like it should be a mini series
@@heresjonny4107 the book is amazing. as another person who doesn't read much it's one of those books that's tough to put down.
"Ozzy you remember that time with motley crue? "
Ozzy: what? Where am I? Who are you? Motley whats it? Sharon where are you?!!!!
Sharon:" I am here Ozzy. I was asking if you remember that time with Motley Crue and the gross out contest?"
Ozzy: No I don't. Who are you?
No no..correction..its....SHAAAAARRONN¡¡¡¡¡¡¡
😆
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Lmao.... that's Ozzy for sure.
I read this in my mind with his voice, it’s spot on
I was really impressed by the actor who played Ozzy. It was spot on
What? The accent flitted between Brummy, Aussie and south African. 😁😂
I guess I didn’t hear that. I just really liked how he captured his energy
@@noobcoding7279 To be fair it's not easy to mimic Ozzy's voice, since it's as iconic as Heavy Metal itself.
To be fair, Ozzy not remembering that happened is hardly an argument against it having actually happened.
after discussing with my roommates during watching this film, we all agreed Tommy was provoked by his fiancé. based on the scene it was obvious he had told her to stop and she continued to egg him on. we all agreed that hitting her wasn’t the best but leaving her on the side of the road was completely valid
@hello, how are you doing it is nice meeting you here.
No. Stabbed with pen and physically assaulted with punches. Completely justified by Lee
Audience love The Dirt, Critics hate The Dirt.
The critics don't have the last word, the last word is from the audience!!!
Same with their music so what's new?
Never trust the critics
If the critics hate it,it must be good
Just like how the critics hate Mötley Crüe but the fans loved them back in the 80’s it’s The Same ‘Ol Situation all over again
"When she started to hit him, he punched her in the face". Why is this an example of Tommy being abusive? This is called a double standard.
Apparently he had a rocky marriage to Pamela Andersen and other really shady things that go around his name personally I am the biggest fan of Lee but I like Mick Mars Nikki Sixx and Vince Neil considering everything that happened with his daughter but I an defending in any way anything bad they might have done regardless of their own personal losses
Because he barely bruised while she bled and had several teeth knocked out.
@@zurrikanejenkins3007 still a double standard
Well she stabbed him with a pen
Zurrikane Jenkins It’s still self defense... she assaulted him and he defended himself
9:25 I love how Ozzy is basically saying "Ya I probably did that".
he said he probably did it in an interview, and he laughed about it, so metal... so metal...
Yeah, he probably said, "ya" lmao
it’s funny how they make tommy’s girlfriend look like the victim, like he was abusive. she stabbed him with a pen in his back and he hit her💀
So, it was self defense.
Well it was self defense
@@Theringodair thats what they’re implying 💀💀💀
big big chungus
Jake C00k I LOVE how they say “he assaulted her” mmmmmm no she assaulted him......
Its because shes a woman and because that for some reason makes them not be able to assault anyone
Jake C00k theres self defense and then there’s overdoing it.
Which is what he did.
He literally knocked her teeth out.
@@chae1557
With a single punch. He didn't beat her on the ground or something. It was self defense.
Chaeli Ansley lmao he punched her once tf would you do if that’s “over doing it”
the band literally produced the movie and, honestly, it was perfect. the cast was perfect. i loved it.
As someone once said it's a movie not a documentary
the gross out scene was actually in tucson az (in real life) and my dad was actually there, he was telling me about it years ago and said he hoped it was in the movie when he heard the dirt was being released
Was it exactly like the movie portrayal?
Tell us the account man!
Ben Andrews no way did it really? Hahah I live in Tucson
DNoble081 this one guy who was ozzys tour manager or something said the ant part didn’t happen... that it was one tiny spider... but the piss part was true
Probably at a days inn 😂
I cannot believe the first encounter between Tommy Lee & Heather Locklear is not mentioned in this list. According to the movie the two first met at the very same party where Vince & Razzle left to go get more beer & Vince crashed his car killing Razzle. Heather was not at that party in December of 1984 and did not even meet Tommy til the next year backstage at a concert.
Nikki and Tommy did have a meeting at a Denny’s. It wasn’t exactly like it was in the movie. Tommy was already in a band. And of course it seemed like Vince contacted them shortly after the meeting at the party, which was at the Starwood. There isn’t enough time in the movie to wait weeks for a meeting.
Yeah I heard Nikki had unsuccessfully auditioned for that band before. Nikki knew who Tommy was.
The Dirt was way more accurate than Bohemian Rhapsody
Live Wire wasn't written when they started playing but they did write it like 5 minutes into playing with Vince
"When she started to hit him, he punched her in the face."
Alright, that's already self-defense as is, but didn't she fucking stab him in real life? That's not abuse, that's a person going into survival mode.
Ozzy: "I have no recollection of doing that". That's basically how his autobiography "Ozzie" starts out!
“Tommy Lee was abusive”
Literally retaliates after having his mom insulted and getting punched himself.
Vince Neil’s chin was factually wrong
🤣
LMFAO
lmaooo i love this comment
I'm still curious if their first gig went down like they showed.
3:55 She hit him first, he didn't abuse her he was defending himself. *She hit Tommy first*
So this young lady's name wasn't Heather or umm Pamela??? Lol jk
They need to do a movie about Guns N Roses. They are one of the most iconic bands in Rock history. Their up bringing of the band would make for such a great documentary.
I remember hearing Ozzy
On the radio talking about it shortly after it happen back in 198? He was on the radio show Rock Line with Bob Coburn. He said the ants were on candy bar. And he snorted their trail. Ozzy doesnt have the best memory I'm sure. Lol
So in the end, the craziest things are true after all. Nikki and his mother, Tommy slapped his fiancée, Nikki's death for a moment
... a wicked awesome and partially really fucked up Rock 'n' Roll Band .
"Don't ever leave your girlfriend with Mötley Crüe EVER - because.... 😂
I loved this movie!!! I never get sick of watching it. I hope it's available on DVD eventually.
I doubt it. I'd suggest just putting it on a DVD-ROM
Movie wasent perfect but who expected it to be?
I do wish they would have done a little more with the music & tours though.
I thought the best part of the "real or fake" thing was the character of Mick Mars aka Ramsey Bolton breaking the fourth wall constantly to remind us we were watching a movie. But to put it in his words, "I think this interpretation is as good as it gets" which is true.
ktvindicare personally I think machine gun Kelly playing tommy lee was the best actor
& (yes a rapper) but the only one that could even understand that world of being a musician)
ktvindicare mars character was good as well
Read the book
Yes please omit the fact at 3:59 that she literally stabbed him, both parties were at fault and that should be recognized.
I just saw the film today and I honestly thought it was one of the best movies I have ever watched. It was amazing from the story to the acting!
3:59
It was an act of self defense
Like if u agree
No, it wasn't
No, it wasn't and Tommy is an asshole
It was in self deffense, she stabbed him with a pen wich for some reason they didn't show, she also hit him first. So yeah "boo hoo tommy lee was an abusive pig!"
she bit off more than she could chew
3 is inaccurate, Nikki suffered cardiac arrest. He was treated with 2 doses of Epinephrine(adrenaline) and CPR which saved his life. Even though he was declared dead(unlikely a paramedic would jump the gun like that and the perform CPR anyway but it can and does happen) he did infact not die. The fact that they where able to resuscitate him after 2 minutes is a credit to the well trained and highly skilled ambulance staff and their quick response time.
He had an NDE
@@carolinevictory1414 that was so funny that tommy was wearing his sister’s Cheetah pants
@@brianabrown9612 ikr?😆
Best biopic I’ve ever seen. #LongLiveTheCrüe
No better than Bohemian Rhapsody, but still good!!! 🤘😎
@@pavelm.gonzalez8608 it is.... Bohemian Rhapsody was Just wrong from the beginning and a Bitch Slap for real Fans with a fucked Up Timeline and wrong Facts. Mike Myers played a Person which never existed in real Life.
@@nicostelzig6609 they added Mike Myers because of Wayne's World and his connection with bohemian rhapsody had nothing to do with real life and everything to do with the actor. The timline being fucked up also makes sense because of how much time needed to be fit in a movie with a limited runtime. That being said there are some horrible inaccuracies in the facts which did annoy me.
Ozzy probably doesn’t remember snorting ants because he was probably too wasted to remember that.
Tommy lee wasn’t abusive Roxie had stabbed him with a pen.
And she called his mom a cunt and told her to stop and punched her
He was abusive who knows if she really stabbed him and he has abused other women.
@@kimberlycambray360 he’s not abuser person he did right thing
@@brianabrown9612 that is just a movie saying what they want to say. He did abuse another ex wife of his Pamela Anderson as well as his own kids. He pinched them and made them cry. He is an abuaer period. The movie makes him seem like he is not. Like I said idk about the scene in the movie. Could be real could not. But he is an abuser.
@@kimberlycambray360 he’s defeating his mom Kim he doesn’t like when she calls his mom a cunt and that’s why he punched her
I think the guy who plans Vince looks more like Kurt Cobain than he does Vince
@Gordon G Rettmann That's who he looks like!! Thanks, it was driving me crazy.
I love how Watchmojo left out the scene where she stabs Tommy with the pen and only shows her pushing him to change the narrative of the scene.
Tommy assaulted her---?! GTFO she had it coming big time she stabbed him and insulted his mother after repeatedly being asked politely not to. She's lucky she didn't get thrown out of the window while the bus was moving
I wonder whatever happened to that black paramedic that revived Nikki Sixx.
How do we know he was black? Story goes that a Crue fan revived him....not saying the guy wasn't black but......
Daryl Sandlin he was black in movie that’s why
I believe it was a white guy that save Sixx in RL. But for fairness and equality they put a black actor for the part. The movie is not 💯 accurate so it don't matter if he was black.
@@darylsandlin5871 Yea and Nikki wasn't really in the right state of mind to remember details.
He was a simple man. Wife, kids, a home, full time job. Never heard that story before just amazing
Regarding Ozzy having no recollection of the gross out contest:
1 he was probably so coked up that he doesn't remember.
2 he remembers, but would ANYONE admit to that?
Bruh Honey insulted Tommy’s mother and he asked her to leave the limousine but she started hitting him multiple times so he punched her in the face. I wouldn’t call that assault or abuse on Tommy’s part, more like self defense from a rude and annoying girlfriend.
The place where they use to always hang out (“Rainbow Bar & Grill” in Hollywood) is a place I always go to. My dad’s friend, Ace Von Johnson, even has his own table with a thing that says his name. The place is really cool..there are famous peoples pictures all over and even some of their guitars!! If you live in LA or near there, you should definitely check it out!!
He’s with Faster Pussycat now isn’t he??
*I've posted a cover of Billy Squier's "My Kinda Lover" because of The Dirt. Would be dope ass if Motley recorded a full version of that song*
Love how everyone suddenly became Motley Crue fans lmao hey atleast its good music making a full cirlce
More like Motley Crue critics! I can’t believe how much criticism this movie has gotten from people who don’t listen to Motley Crue or from that era entirely.
Thanks for the honesty about the movie. I've seen it a couple weeks ago.
@Diane hello, how are you doing it is nice meeting you here.
Ozzy has no recollection of an entire tour he did, no shit he didn't remember it.
They need to make more of these types of movies I love them
Wait wait wait WatchMojo....didnt she also stab Tommy with a pen?
The girl tommy Lee was with was horrible about his mum, that’s a line that must never be crossed
ngl if my "fiance" disrespects my mom and abuses me first after i say dont disrespect my mom. She will get these freshly baked hands.
Tommy Lee should not be called abusive with the example shown. Instead, a man who showed a woman that it's equal right and equal fights.
I wouldn't call Tommy Lee abusive for hittiing a girl once for hitting him and callin his mom names
Metal Thrash Man exactly she also STABBED him in the leg with a fucking pen he was defending him self just Becuase he is a guy he is automatically abusive
Bro if Tommy’s girlfriend hit him he has the right to hit her back🤷♂️
She apparently stabbed him. idk about slap for slap, but someone literally impales you in the back that at least deserves some physical retaliation.
submissivelover she stabbed him with a pen in the arm in the movie. As well as hit him several times.
@Joey Punk yeah.. che gevara pic expains everything
dan_ da-lion very true
dan_ da-lion yup 💪 💯
Sjw logic: "he's abusive for hitting a women hitting him"...
Equal rights?... Right?!
That gross out challenge seems like a TikTok challenge that shouldn’t exist. Right up there with devious licks, cooking chicken in NyQuil and choking. It could be “the Ozzy Challenge!!”
About Ozzy not remembering things from the Bark at the Moon tour... that is not surprising, there are many many things from the years after Randy Rhoads' death he doesn't recall.
“I have all these old photographs of me in the ‘80s, ‘90s, and I can’t remember taking them,” Osbourne reflected. “I sometimes wonder, ‘Is that really me?"
The best thing nikki syxx did, was do a duet with Megadeth.
The Megadeath diet sound a lot better than the paleo diet.
Ozzy wasnt the frontman of Black Sabbath at that point he was a solo artist and Dio was the frontman of Black Sabbath
He was abusive but she hit him first?. Seems legit.
Aaron Tyus wait really?.
Relationship was toxic, both were abussive! happy know?
carisa nah buddy one of them was the antagonizer, really clear that’s she is.
I love how the false depictions are easily the least important
It's a misstep to characterize Tommy as the abuser if Honey was hitting him first. That implies that its okay for a woman to hit a man but a man should never hit a woman, which is incredibly sexist. Either condone both abusers or condemn them both equally. She hit him first, that makes her the aggressor.
Factually wrong: Vince can sing and remember words...
I didn’t know MGK played Tommy lee
So glad I watched this movie after those harsh reviews... enjoyed every minute 🤘
“The Dirt” was produced by Mötley Crüe.. dk how things could’ve been wrong if the actual band members we’re making it too
I met Doc Mghee briefly at a KISS concert i said hi to him and he gave me a few signed picks. Pretty fucking cool dude
