- We have always known nature is good for us. It just makes sense, right?
In researching Brain Wash, Austin and I discovered just how much science there is to back up the assertion that more nature exposure is just what your body, and your brain, need.
In this episode, the first in a three part series about Brain Wash and unhacking your brain, Austin and I examine the science that points to nature as a healing mechanism for our health.
For some suggestions on ways to get more nature exposure into your everyday, check out this resource: www.drperlmutter.com/disconne...

Thank you 👏👏👏 I have ordered your new book Drs just a few days ago, it's a long wait till I get it where I'm from in the Middle East but that's ok .. looking forward to it!! My grandfather has Alzheimer's and the entire family has been supporting him and also self reflecting and changing our lifestyle habits. Nature is absolutely critical for my wellbeing too and gives one a sense of purpose and identity in the greater scheme of Creation. I love gardening and I need to be near trees, sun and sea.
I am very thrilled seeing your beautiful relationship when talking about brain health issue.
Sorry, I can't finish your video because I'm going outside to my back yard right now. I'll check your book when I come back inside. Thank you for sharing.
Love to hear it!
low histamine foods and supplements/vitamins, also acupuncture for the fascia system and supplements for the fascia.
I think grounding in nature could prove to be a much more powerful health strategy than once thought as well. Simply standing on grass or beach sand and absorbing the electrons (antioxidants) from the earth
I think I'll order the kindle.
I prefer a paper book but to get it delivered to Korea, I have to pay quite a lot.
I was born with weak bronchial tubes so I often got a cold when I was a young child.
I took a bus for 2 hours to go to the hospital for treatment.
There were hospitals around our place but my mum took me there for a better treatment.
I used to have 2 or 3 shots a day and took a lot of medications but it didn't get any better.
I moved to a deep countryside when I was 7.
The place was like a secret garden of wild nature.
It was just amazing.
I spent 4 years there before moving into Seoul.
I was still very young but I felt that my health was improved a lot.
I didn't have serious health problems but I noticed some very positive changes.
Getting in touch with nature helps a lot both physically and mentally.
I got to know that through my own experience.
So from spring to autumn, I often go to the arboretum around my place.
I go there and just sleep all day and it helps.
I see many people doing the same thing there.
There are lots of mountains in Korea.
Even in a big city like Seoul, it's very easy to find mountains.
When I lived in London, I was quite surprised that it was very hard to find mountains.
I travelled to other cities of England a few times but still, it wasn't easy to find mountains.
In the past, in the cities of Korea, people often destroyed them to build the apartments but now they try to reserve them because it makes the apartments' prices higher.
Good to see that people eventually realised that mountains are blessings for health and for the price, too.
I like mountains but don't like climbing so I go to the gardens and woods.
Thank you for reminding me of it.
I'll go out to walk around although there are currently no leaves in Korea as it is winter.
I do need it because stress is killing me.
I have ordered the book which will arrive the 14th. I am so looking forward to it. I love nature. Spending time in nature is truly my zen.
Glad to know the book will be in your hands soon!
Two handsome dudes with such a special message!
No birds at my bird feeders this winter at all. It is truly bizzare. Magnetic pole shift perhaps?
Consider the different frequencies of sounds in nature vs. radios, tv, music speakers, etc... . They are not the same. YHVH has his own frequencies that heal.
Unplug and get outside!
I can't read the final quote or see when the book is being released because of the ad for episode 2 that blocks it and I can't make it go away.
Sir several students even in medicine spent too much time inside the room and they perform very well while handling lot of information which common man can not believe. Similarly in several religious practices people spend too much time in a very same environment for whole their life and we give their quotes in our books and conversations as a guiding principles to live a healthy life. Why?
Hi Doctors, would you recommend the hardcover or ebook? :) Thank You
I always enjoy a book in my hands, but the same information is in both!
DavidPerlmutterMD Thank You 🙏 Ordered the ebook as I can digest the information wherever whenever, but want to actually stop reading on a digital screen 📺
