Tip for Jon's washing up, fill a spray bottle with soapy water, a couple of squirts, a wizz round with the cloth and a dunk in the clean water to finish. Stand the spray bottle in front of the heat vent for warm wash. Also good for cleaning the windscreen. And not seen a single Vaseline joke mentioned here 🙂

Those aren't sun dogs, but mother-of-pearl clouds. I've been lucky enough to see them on a few occasions. They're really fascinating and you were lucky to get such great images of them.
Another fantastic episode. Being disabled, you're actually living my dream where you can build a camper van, and go to those remote places of wonder. I just wish the episodes were a bit longer! Even if you added more driving in it, those roads look beautiful, even with the headlights lighting up the roadway.

Circle K, I’m a fueltruckdriver for Circle K Sweden in Gothenburg and I love my country. My campervan is an old VW Caravelle from 1997 that I build 2021/22 in the winter. I travel alone so for me the bus is perfect. But I enjoy every episode from your channel.❤
for some serious "rapids" rivers, check out the Cache le Pourdre and Colorado Rivers in Colorado USA. if you hit them in May, they're chilly but flowing HARD. many areas considered class 4 and 5 rapids. basically, if you want to RIDE them, you'd better be experienced, or have a guide that is VERY experienced! ive ridden class 5 on the Poudre and it's simply stellar! maybe a nice spring/summer roadtrip across the USA in the future? (we have EVERY climate except tundra in the lower 48 states! desert, both cold and hot, rainforest, both cold and hot, temperate forests and plains, 2 massive mountain chains, some of the highest peaks in the world, the lowest valley in the world, the longest main street in the world (lincoln nebraska), and scenery that rivals every place on earth!) there's a reason why most americans dont travel abroad: we dont need to in order to see the world's wonders! i've lived in europe, and i consider it some of the best years of my life, but when living in the states, i dont yearn for much outside of what this massive MASSIVE country can provide! (for scale's sake, Germany is slightly bigger than my single state of Nebraska.. and there's 47 more, not counting Hawaii and Alaska since they're detached)
Funny you should say that we are headed for Canada and the US this coming winter. We plan to ship the van into Halifax, drive across to Alaska and then come down through the states. We absolutely can’t wait. It’s been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember 💙💙💙

When you see the front window start fogging up, or freezing, you send all the warm air to the front. Most cars have a button for this, and if it doesn't set the fan at max, you do it. Then you wont have any problem seeing. You might get cold feet, but seeing is more important, and when it clears up you can change airflow to window and feet.

I agree with many others, everything about your videos just gets better & better. You go the extra mile again & again, even down to the music choice, purely entertaining, with a huge bunch of fun thrown in. I have a massive grin from start to finish. Loved this video, especially when Jon was talking about plugging in the cars to keep the engines warm, reminded me of when I was working at an open-face coal mine in northern BC Canada, (yes Jon, I was also a truck/plant mechanic back in the day) keep up the great work Jess & Jon ❤

I believe the proper name for your clouds are "noctilucent", we get them in the UK from time to time, but rare.
