I dont know if there are a lot of people who are requesting a more adventurous lifestyle from Cecilia, or if it's just her, worrying that it's too boring... but I LOVE all the cozy vlogs! I agree with everyone else who has said it - we love your content! Making videos about daily life is awesome. We get to see the polar night coming on in stages and then leaving in stages. In a small way, we get to experience what life is like way up there where we don't live. It's precious to those of us who have never experienced it in person. 🩷 Never ever underestimate your good impact even with making breakfast! 🥰🙏🏻🩵
Thank you young one. Elder Canadian here. What you do helps people. I find it an absolutely peaceful experience (almost cathartic) to be guided back to nature through your efforts. This is about as close to Zen as a normal human gets. Carry on and enjoy the day. 😊 I find it beautifully ironic that you have a refrigerator.
The best word I can describe what I feel when watching your videos is "soothed". So calming.
Every time I watch one of your videos, my shoulders drop, my jaw unclenches, and my breathing slows. Whether you're out snowmobiling to a cabin, on vacation in Miami, or just chilling in the house, it happens. It's yours and Cristofer's energies that are soothing to me. You get so excited about everything (which helps me look for the little things to enjoy) and Cristofer is so calm and chill, he reminds me to slow down and breathe. And of course Grimm is just adorable.
Im the same! She even made me want to go camping one time and I hate camping at the best of times never mind if there is a threat of polar bears!

I also loved this book! I recently read another book about Svalbard ... Dark Matter by Michelle Paver. It does not have the same cozy vibe (it's a ghost story) and takes place in the 1930s. Highly recommend!

That view of Longyearbyen from the other side of the fjord is so cool! I've often wondered what the view was like from the other side of the water and I was not disappointed! So glad you're taking us with to see Olivia, Einar, and Fenris! Miss seeing them. So it will be like getting to visit more old friends! ;-)

Grim is the most pampered dog. Just as it should be. It makes me smile and even cry a little.
Polar nights is my favorites I could watch 24 hours a day. I always need a cup of coffee when I watch to no matter what time of day it is.

Yes, i thought that looked like a heated, enclosed sledge for humans that you were using for Grimm, but thats fine, esp as he ages and then you can still take him on adventures with you & Christoffer. To me it makes no difference whether you take your dog or not, but you and other people think the world of their and your dog/s. So whatever makes you happy. That was such a lovely shot of Longyearbyen across the snow and fjord. The encroaching daylight is wonderful again. Thankyou for sharing and it's always interesting, orobably bcos its so radically different to anything here in the subtropics of S.E.Queensland Australia. I think I'm more of a homebody and think there is quite a bit of adventure on a regular basis on this channel. But I do love a cozy day in and just enjoy feeling like I'm spending a day w a sweet friend.

Hi, I'm presently living in Wasilla, Alaska been here 7yrs. I'm originally from South Texas, if you can believe that. Not sure if I'd like living that close to the north pole. Understand just a bit about living in darkness. Our day begins around 5am, and ends around 6:30pm. We start in the dark and end in the dark during the winter months. We don't have total darkness maybe 3 to 4hrs of partial sun. The sun goes around us not over us. It was extremely hard that first winter I was so use to 12hrs of direct sunlight. I learned it can be to cold to snow so I have learned to appreciate snow. You have such beautiful scenery understand why you love being there. Oh, I'm big coffee drnker too. 😊

I’m always concerned about Grim’s safety because it’s dangerous for him. But I know you are very aware of the dangers and are always looking out for him. What is your timeline for living there? I’m sure nobody expects to stay beyond 5-10 years. You might consider Hawaii next. It’s expensive but it can’t be more so than where you are. Perfect weather year round and it’s always beautifully green everywhere outside of Honolulu. Aloha!
