+anika nolan If you go back during the True Pacifist ending and check the picture again, there will be another picture of him with Frisk and everyone else on the surface, which also has the line "He looks happy".
Sans's Secret Room is a slowed down version of It's Raining Somewhere Else, which by itself is a slowed down version of sans., which by itself is a slowed down version of Song That Might Play When You Fight Sans
I just realized something, Sans never intended for the player to find this room. The key he gave you was to his bedroom, you have to find the key to this room by snooping around his room for it.
Anthony Troiano I think that was his plan all along. Thats why he says its time for you to know the truth. He plays it off as a prank but there's no way in hell he'd think you wouldn't look around. The keys in such an obvious place too.
The Mega Epic Vinnie he knows that the player is probably just trying to see all the things they can do. Similar to the genocide run. The main reason, is just because the player wants to see what will happen. Sans knows this. So maybe by providing a secret room, it will make the player just be disappointed with what their expectations might be. Basicallly, sans is pranking you with your own curiosity.
When he says “it’s time to know the truth” and you turn on the light in his room, you assume he was joking and pranking you, but he meant it about the secret room that you inevitably find, didn’t he
Step in Sans' room. Curiosity leads you to complete, utter darkness. You shamble about aimlessly. You get the feeling you're stuck going nowhere. Creepy music comes in, accentuating how desperate the situation is getting. Papyrus comes in and lights everything up, showing the world around you once more. Sums up Sans' life pretty well, I'd imagine.
+Elias_Knight777 7 If you do the true pacifist ending, then reload the save. The picture will say its frisk and all his friends staring at the sunset (Like in the ending) Which means, in one way or another, sans does have the ability to time travel, or at least see the future.
***** Cant he go back to the entrance to the forest, and kill frisk there? After all, there frisk is only LOVE 3 or something, so even if it does get a hit on him, he wont die. Also, how can he be so hopeless if he KNOWS there's a future where he is happy? I know he thinks the player will reset it, but he also knows it will happen at one point.
It's pretty interesting how that line "he looks happy" seems to hold more weight than just what once was. I mean, Sans *never* frowns. No matter what's happening to him, the closest he ever gets to frowning is when he's being attacked by either Chara or Flowey. He's a comic, he makes people laugh and keeps the peace by easing the tension with bad jokes, hot dogs, and just being there for people when they need it. But he's like a clown, you can't tell his true feelings behind a constant smile. He's depressed, broken down to the point of surrender, who knows what happened to him? But its tracks like these where it gets you thinking. No matter what, he's looked behind stage curtains, and whatever he saw back there has chipped away at what once could have been a diligent scientific aid who gave it everything he had trying to stop some disaster before it happens.
***** That's completely true, the player is just as much a character in Undertale is any of them are. The true threat, and the true angel from the prophecy. Frisk is just following our direction unknowingly, like pre-guided intuition. And yes, as for Sans, his mysteries, along with many other secrets throughout the game, goes with us, the voiceless player, for our own contemplation, not for other character's input.
***** That's true, every monster is diverse. This might be due to the fact that their magical properties make their growth and body structures based on concepts. A monster could be anything, so long as it has a monster's soul, and is magical. And as for Sans, he's a *bone* a-fide skeleton with a northern accent. Gotta love em'.
Somehow hearing this makes me imagine myself all alone sitting on a bus/train station at midnight, waiting for hours while watching the rain. A sad as well comfortable feeling. Maybe it's just me.
+Eridan Lenz ahhhh, good'ol memories, i remember when i got my first rathalos ruby last week, i was so exited, ahhhh- that look on my face of exitement, then my mom grounded me in the middle of the mission...and i dint save.....damm..... 2% of apearance rate *sob* but im ok.... *BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!* *Starts crying
+Benjamin Aguilera this is confusing, with memories i meant, that at some point of my live, in order to get to work, i had to woke up early in the mornig take the bus at 4:AM to the next bigger bus station and wait there nearly an hour for the next bus. And that song for some reason let me remember this. But man losing a rathalos ruby, i feel your pain. Love MH.
hehe, ims still kinda young, but i think i know that feeling, of suddenly noticing change, it happene to me last week when i just realised "well, im in highschool now".
+Hawelo92 I find that is a link to that Toby Fox made an old game he made music for like the song of Sans fight. Right now I'm hoping there is a link to homestuck in the music (beside Sans fight) or in the game that shows that Toby Fox work on Homestuck.
+Neckou There's probably more connection to Toby's EB hack. Since his first ideas were there, if we try to connect some things maybe it will lead to the truh.
"its kinda weird to say this, but" " its nice to have someone call you out on being lazy" "even though nothing could be further from the truth" - sans It's clear it kinda bothers him that he can't tell people why he never gives it his all anymore...but he just grins and bears it, not to worry all the others...especially Papyrus.
@@vqsxd I'm saying that hes not just talking about how hes not lazy, I was just giving you some more information. Let me rephrase it for you; Sans isnt *just* saying that hes not lazy. hes saying he isnt lazy, but hes also saying that hes given up.
This song. It's full of mystery, it really makes me think. How could Frisk tell that he "looked happy"? If anything, he always looks happy. It really makes you think how depressing he is. And it's even more sad to think he refuses to show it, not even to Papyrus. Sans has been the first ever character from a video game that I just wanted to hug out of guilt.
There are fake smiles and happy smiles. They're not to difficult to tell apart. Fake smiles are usually not as expressive. Perhaps this is how Frisk could tell Sans was happy in that picture.
+Phudge I just wish he was willing to show it once in a while; Papyrus would do anything to make him feel better if he just KNEW he was having such a hard time.
You know when you're in the middle of an extension of an Undertale OST track and you have to go but you feel it's a sin to interrupt it? That's what I feel everytime I listen to this.
Yes, I can, actually. I could use that, to kill E V E R Y O N E , then it’ll all reset! I can kill EVERYONE over, and OVER, AND OVER, AND O V E R ! I could do my favourite thing, OVER AND OVER AGAIN! -(I am slowly losing my sanity. Losing my grip on this world. Everything may seem fine if you met me, but only I know what’s really going on.)-
@@zoecasas8219 *you can't understand how this feels. *knowing that one day, without any warning... it's all going to be reset. *look. i gave up trying to go back a long time ago. *and getting to the surface doesn't really appeal anymore, either. *cause even if we do... we'll just end up right back here, without any memory of it, right? *to be blunt... it makes it kind of hard to give it my all. *... or is that just a poor excuse for being lazy...? hell if i know. *all i know is... seeing what comes next... i can't afford not to care anymore.
*The loneliest person is the kindest *The saddest person smiles the brightest *The most damaged person is the wisest *... *... *... *... *... *You found a picture of Sans *He looks happy
That's actually very telling of Sans' psychology. He's always smiling and always joking around, but secretly he's dying inside because the knowledge of multiple timelines is too much for him. He'd much rather not know of anything like that and have a normal life.
BluDiamond You go through multiple timelines, because you reset so that you can change something you did. The timeline where you did A still exists when you go through another timeline to do B.
Name's Sans. Snowdin Sentry. Used to be a Science Aid, until the underground bigwigs decided to trim their budget. I remember it like yesterday...'cuz it was yesterday. I had a small pension that would keep me alive, but bored. I wondered what I would do for the rest of my life. As I walked out of Snowdin and into the forest, I detected a dime-stuck to some gum-stuck to my shoe. Let's face it, I said to my self. Being a Sentry was all I was good at. I peeled off the dime and stuck it in my pocket. I left the gum on my shoe as a good luck charm, a sign that things would get better. It was starting to snow. That's when 'they' walked out of the door. Just my luck, a human. They looked lost. "Well? Aren't you gonna shake my hand?" I said. I guess in a way, the gum WAS a good luck charm. But I knew I needed more than luck if I was gonna take this human to the barrier....
*There's a picture of Sans in here with a lot of people you don't recognize.. *He looks happy. *There's a picture of... Huh? *A little piece of paper is sticking out the side of the binder. *A poorly drawn photo of three people is on it. *Words are scribbled on the back.... *"don't forget."
I never realized how special the line ‘he looks happy’ was. It might not mean as much for other characters but the fact that you can identify a skeleton like sans who always smiles is actually happy and not just smiling is actually really deep.
* it's raining somewhere, kiddo. * i have a way to show you where... just use this key, and head into my "secret room". * i'm lucky how in this timeline... * it's fixed.

+HeWhoEnjoysTehVids i wish toby released a"dlc" with a complete hard mode which would include gaster and a new ending saving asriel too cuz i though maybe we don’t need to give our whole soul, but maybe half? Kingdom hearts style
chrisboba8 dunno if he'd be up to that the ending itself felt really complete to me but if he DID do that, I think that would be my only reason to break the promise of not true resetting
I'm getting the impression that Sans is kind of depressed, maybe he wears that smile all the time to hide his real tears. There are pictures of him with other people that you don't know, and he's happy in those pictures... SOMETHING must've happened to give this strong impression of Sans being depressed...
also, another thing that i thought about is that the picture with sans and some other people, it seems like it wouldnt say *he looks happy* if it wasnt important
The fact that it says "a lot of people you don't know" makes me so curious. It would be wonderful to have a little closure on this, maybe in DLC or another game related to Undertale.
not what i was talking about but whatever xD the thing is, sans seems to be smiling throughout the entire game (except for when flowey captures him and the rest, as well as when you kill him on the kill-all run) but really, he's probably not what it seems. laziness is a form or effect of apathetic behavior if i'm correct. and, knowing sans is too lazy... it'd make sense. also, he's given up "trying to go back." whatever that means, we don't know. and sans just says he can't afford not to care anymore. whatever is with this skelebro, i'm sad for him because he's probably depressed and broken down to the point of surrender. so never assume someone who seems happy feels as happy inside as they look on the outside. "everyone thinks that we're perfect, please don't let them look through the curtains."
sans deserves his own game. no. he needs his own game. there's gotta be so much more to his life and his background than what we see in-game, i mean, there IS so much more. aside from making sure Papyrus doesn't screw up too much, aside from going to grillby's after working one of his 50 jobs, aside from cracking jokes for Toriel... which is actually some kind of adorable, but... there's still so much we don't know about sans. if we ever will know.
+MinecraftRick the problem is, toby probably isn't going to make a sequel to this and porting the fighting mechanic and various details from the original into a fangame would be nigh impossible, due to undertale being an ass to decompile.
+MinecraftRick Atm I am dying because of this comment. HE DOES HAVE A GAME. Just cause something I've thought of. like, what if Toby wanted him to look familiar. that machine... his blood... his powers... I swear I know a VG character like that...
This is my theory/headcanon for Sans' life: Sans was one of the top minds in the Underground, a genius by most standards. He worked with the former royal scientist, Dr WingDin Gaster, and a small team of researchers. Together they accomplished miracles. They seemed to discover something new every week. Dr Gaster was head of the team and his genius was irreplaceable. He almost single-handedly designed the CORE, providing power to the entire Unerground. One day, Gaster made a discovery to put all others to shame: Manipulation of time itself. Using the CORE as a power source and capsule to facilitate the experiments, Gaster, Sans, and the rest of the team began work on creating a time machine. Months upon months they dabbled with that which was not meant to be dabbled with until finally, they did it. They cracked the code. But something went wrong. I'm in no position to say what exactly happened or why it happened, but they gazed into the abyss and the abyss gazed into them and it did not like what it saw. Dr Gaster and his scientific crew were cast from existence, no longer in the realm of reality. But not Sans. Somehow, someway, Sans was able to survive, and not only that, but he was granted immense powers. Powers of magics far stronger than any other monster in the Underground, and the ability to perceive alternate timelines and to even manipulate time in a very small way. Sans woke up in his lab in Hotland and remembered almost nothing. He could remember that he was a scientist, but not who is co-workers were. Neither could anyone else. When Dr Gaster and the rest of the scientific team faded out of existence, all memory of them was lost, even to Sans. But Sans knew he lost something. Not something, _everything_. All his life's work, his friends, his family, all of it gone. And the worst part of it was that he didn't even know what he lost. Sans took the incomplete time machine, schematics, a picture of him and his co-workers, and his only remaining family, Papyrus, and moved to Snowdin, as far away from the CORE as possible. Papyrus was too young to remember anything from the CORE, so Sans was glad to never mention it again. Papyrus, being the only thing left from Sans' old life that he had any memory of, became the center of Sans' life. The one good thing to happen to him in his mostly forgotten existence. His only sunshine. With his new powers, Sans swore to defend Papyrus from anyone and anything that could hurt him: even Sans himself. So he started to smile, and never stopped smiling, so that Papyrus would never worry, never have to be afraid and sad like Sans was. He adopted a love for puns and bad jokes, so that he could keep smiling, keep moving on, for Papyrus. Many years later Sans began to notice something. He could feel a sense of almost deja vu. But more than that. He _knew_ it was real. Suddenly, the memories came flooding back. Time travel. He had worked on time travel. And the deja vu he was feeling wasn't deja vu, it was a reset of the timeline. Hundreds, if not thousands of times this happened (by Flowey's doing) and Sans realized that everything was pointless. Why bother if it's all going to be reset anyway. So he developed a bleak out look on the world, he gave up on it. He masked this lack of care and effort with laziness, just saying he didn't want to do anything. Nobody would believe him anyway, why should he tell the truth. It would only hurt the people he cared about, only scare Papyrus. Though Sans couldn't remember details or specifics from each reset, he could get vague images of them in his dreams. He had nightmares, horrific images of a flower that tried to destroy everything he loved, a human child who succeeded at it. Images of his friends being murdered. Images of Papyrus turning to ash infront of his very eyes. When Sans couldn't take it anymore, he finally returned to the things he brought from the lab in the basement. Old photos, hastily drawn schematics, broken machines. He went down there and searched, begged, pleaded for some way to fix it. The time machine. If he could get that working, maybe _he_ could assume control of the timeline, stop whoever or whatever was resetting it, and fix all this once and for all. But he couldn't remember how. Couldn't remember who his friends were, the rest of his family, where he came from, why he did what he did with them. So he started going to Grillby's every night. Sometimes he went, enough to make it seem like he was the most common customer. But some nights he sat in the basement for hours on end, trying to remember, remember anything. Remember what he did, remember who he worked with, remember how it worked, remember who he was. Something. Anything. Anything that could fix it. EDIT: I'm just going to tack this on the end since I'm too lazy to go in and put this into the story such that it would make half a lick of sense. I don't actually know what they were working on that went so wrong. It could have been anything. Time travel was the first theory I thought of, but there are others that I like just as much so I'm adding it to the mystery. What were they doing anyway? Time travel? Artificial human souls to destroy the Barrier? Teleportation out of the Underground? Disspelling the Barrier? Communing with Yog-Sothoth? Making the world's greatest microwave? The world may never know.
Quite the wall of text you have there. I pretty much believe what you've said entirely, mostly due to the fact I am at no ground to disagree with any of your details. Although one thing does strike me as odd, Gaster,Whatever happened to him,Didn't really kill him I mean he's still around somehow in the game. So I'm just curious, Why/How was he the only survivor to the events that took all of the scientists? Maybe there's someone out there who may have an idea or two on this question. I for one,Have no clue.
Ultimate Waffles I think that he and all the scientists (other than Sans) were erased from existence. You can bring them back by playing with the files (which in the context of the game is basically altering time and space). Gaster appears as Gaster and the other scientists are "Gaster's Followers".
+nordic fatcheese Ah yes, Now that indeed sounds right.I keep forgetting about Casters followers. Still wonder actually what happened to cause everyone (Scientists) to disappear. And what does it mean to go in the files and bring them back in? Cause knowing Undertale,Going into the files must mean something in life. Going into the files of the world and pulling them out from it?Only to bring them back?
The picture of sans and the line "he looks happy" shows a lot. You can tell a lot by looking into someone's eyes, even without looking at the mouth or rest of the face, you could tell what the person feels by just their eyes. The player could see something by sans is wrong, he isn't doing a genuine smile most of the time, just a smile to stop you from worrying about him. A smile that blocks you from him. His emotions. His sadness.. His broken heart. He hides his sadness from everyone. Toriel. Papyrus. Undyne. Alphys. And to add to his sadness, they think he's truly happy
So I just realized something. Let's assume that the machine in Sans's secret room is a time machine. That's the most commonly accepted theory. Nobody can fix it, not even Gaster, if he was still around. Sans knows about other timelines too, and he knows about how they will all eventually come collapsing down and that the universe will end in that timeline, and eventually, other timelines. This is shown at the end of the genocide route, when Chara destroys the world, and follows you into other timelines to destroy the world in those timelines too. Sans knows this, and knows that there is nothing he could do to save those timelines. However, that's when I realized something. Sans can't do anything about it. Frisk can't. Neither can Gaster, or anyone really. Except one person. You. The player. Each timeline is a different person playing through Undertale. Some people go through the game as a normal RPG and kills everyone, causing the Genocide ending in that timeline, whereas other save everyone causing the pacifist ending in that timeline. However, at the end of any route, Sans is depressed no matter what, since he knows he can't save them all. But you can. To anyone who did a genocide run...don't play through the game again. You'll enter into another timeline, and if you try to pacifist it, Chara will just kill everyone. The best way to get a happy ending is to stop playing the game after your first play through. To those who got a Pacifist ending, your brought that world happiness. To those that got a Genocide ending...contain the evil in one place. Don't let it spread. Going back to what I said about the machine being a time machine, Toby was right. He said before that the true pacifist ending the best ending, and the machine cannot be fixed, and Asriel can't be saved. The thing is...there's no need for a time machine, as long as everyone in the fandom pitches in to help get these characters the happy ending they deserve. And Asriel? He's come to terms with being a flower for the rest of life. He's going to put up a brave front and try to love again, despite having no soul.
chcoman123 Two characters cannot ve saved. And this is asriel and the player. you cant live in the surface happily with your friends. You, the player, came from the other world. Only you can do is listen and watch everything by not existing at all, but by controlling frisk. You can control the whole timeline, with the power of reset. And when you die in a pacifist or neutral ending, you dont have to start by the beginning of the battle. Because your friends will remember you. And when they forget you, three of your followers that dont exist in a time line and a goner kid, will remember you forever. And thats why you are immortal. Because you, the player, are the one and true gaster.
You’ve just described the hivemind. it is not possible. Chara combines all the timelines and then kills everyone in the end. It cannot change. I’m sorry. i wish it was different but it can’t be. So it began, so it ends.
Or better yet, delete your Genocide save file, and your True Pacifist will be saved...except you know what you did, and you'll have to live with that, despite your "happy ending".
everyone here is talking about the "He looks happy." line, and for good reason, but there's actually another line from this room that's interesting, and it only happens if your Fun value is from 80-89... (in case you don't know, "Fun" is a hidden value that determines random events at the start of each playthrough, like a phone call from Alphys or a Gaster Follower) if you get the key to this room while your Fun value is in that range, the drawer that had photos of sans looking happy with people you don't recognize now says that there's a card sticking out from underneath the photos, with a "poorly drawn picture of 3 smiling people" and written on it: "don't forget". there is one more thing that happens in this Fun value range: in Waterfall, an NPC called Clam Girl appears and talks to you about meeting someone named "Suzy" and, in the Switch version of the game, which was close to Deltarune Chapter 1's release, this dialogue was changed to say that your time to meet Suzy was "fast approaching". ...and then we met Susie. in Deltarune. but why is the only other thing to happen in this Fun value range a new dialogue in sans's secret room? - it says, in what's assumed to be sans's writing, "don't forget" - Don't Forget is a reaccuring song and theme in Deltarune - there's a broken machine in the same room - sans says in his fight that he "gave up trying to go back", and he's not talking about the surface i dunno about you, but it's becoming increasingly possible to me that that "Somewhere Else" where sans came from is none other than Deltarune. maybe those "3 smiling people" are even Kris, Ralsei, and Susie... makes me wonder if we'll actually see what happened to Sans in later chapters?
Listening to this while looking at the rain pour down through my window... It's a beaut. It sends a tear to my eye. I feel like... This is some remembrance to remember the people I have hurt their feelings. The rain gets stronger... Toby Fox,you know how to strike me with a .mp3 file.
But nobody came... Haha... . . . *that's not funny...is it old lady? *. . .it's okay...you don't have to say anything... *i know you're not feeling up to it...or...maybe... *you're not feeling anything at all...heh...i gotta go... *i'll see you soon though...ok?
no *there's a photo album in the drawer. *theres a picture of people you don't know. *you search up picture of sans. *you find out it is actually a picture of people you do know. *its sans, gaster, oh deer, and quail. *you don't know who quail is, but you know her name. *you start crying. *sans starts walking into the room. *" They were family " sans said.
Its weird how, despite this being a low pitched slowed down "its raining somewhere else" the long pause for the loop is entirely gone, and instead the background melody just keeps on going even after the final "ding" thats meant to normally be the last of the main melody before it gets to the moment of silence and loops Not only is it an extremely strange change, but its also kind of anxiety inducing lol like i constantly hear the "ding" and expect the pause to happen at some point and it just, never happens (unless this was only done for this video, i forgot if this is the same in the game) In the true pacifist end, this is also entirely gone, and unlike any other secret room (and papyrus' room for some reason) the theme for the underground just keeps playing, either toby forgot about keeping the rooms' theme or its somehow unlikely intentional
Let me get this straight. Sans' Secret Room is a slowed down version of It's Raining Somewhere Else, which is a slowed down version of "sans.", which is a slowed down version of Song That Might Play When You Fight Sans. Jesus, Toby.
There are photos of... huh? A card is sticking out from the back flap of the binder. It's a poorly drawn picture of three people smiling. Written on it... "don't forget."
*(Sans walks out of Grillby's.) *sigh. *what's the point of all this. *it's all gonna be reset... *... *no... *I've gotta keep it together. *think about papyrus... *tori... *... *it's useless... *this timeline will end anyway. *this world will just disappear... *and everything will reset... *and everyone's memories... *gone... *... *(Sans leaves.)
I just imagine Sans being in Grillby's, in a sort of purgatory with everyone he's met in there, and says, "Grillby, last order for the night. Ketchup." Then he realizes he's in the Last Corridor, and Frisk/Chara hits him as he was daydreaming. He then limps off to Grillby's without any sort of teleportation. He gets to Grillby's, and his legs start deteriorating. "Thanks, Grillby." His body deteriorates as this song plays in Grillby's. His last words are, "But nobody came." That's only me though, anyone agree with me?
Before watching Undertale Let's Plays = Sans is so happy! He never frowns, I mean, he loves making jokes and he is smiling all the time! After = ... damn. Let's all have a minute of silence for Sans. Then give dunkle Sans a big hug...
*You find a picture of sans and many other dead people you've killed *He seems sad *You find a bad-made drawing *There are three monsters , 2 dead crying and the other one smiling *There's something written under it *Forget
Sans is such a deep character, there's a lot of theories of him being sad, or depressed. And the more you read between the lines the more evidence you find of it. He's by far my favourite character of the game, because he still has so much mystery surrounding him.
@@ПаровозикГомас maybe he doesn't. but as a depressed person myself, he's always really given me those vibes. and it's not like he doesn't have any reason to be, given what he knows. he displays feelings of hopelessness in his fight, and feeling hopeless is where depression comes from. so I dont know why people act like that's such an outlandish idea lol.
@@bumbabees again, there is no evidence that he "knows" something and while, yes, he displays feelings of hopelisness, anyone really would, you can look at Undyne for a more heroic and better approach to facing Genocide player if you want to. Being depressed isn't outlandish, it sucks, but Sans being depressed is something that I can't neccesarily accept without an actual proof, a piece of Toby Fox's work that would show us Sans, as a depp and maybe depressed character
I personally think that Sans is one of the best characters in Undertale. Not because of his popularity or boss fight, but because of how much of a mystery this character is. Like why is he so depressed all the time? -It's all because of those dang Fangirls, it's their fault. Now everyone will just see him as a joke character. No wonder why he's so depressed-
Why do you think that he is depressed? Only Asriel fight and the genocide route shows that he *might've* been sad *before*. Also, Papyrus is more of a mystery character than Sans is imo
You know, it's sad for Sans, knowing he'll eternally be stuck in a loop of resetting forever. He's been given the knowledge that the player will always reset, and everything he does will mean nothing. Even if he tries to stop Flowey... Even if he tries to tell Chara what they're doing is wrong in the Genocide route, his actions will ultimately mean nothing because there's no escape. He's been gifted with the curse of knowledge, knowing that no matter what happens, all the memories, all the experiences, everything he works hard to do, will all get set back to zero. I think that's why he's so lazy. He knows his actions mean nothing to the next reset, so he just doesn't care anymore, all he does is tell bad puns, hang out at Grillby's, and drink ketchup. Because no matter what... He's never going to have a truly happy ending.
It's raining in mah diiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiick
Played this on normal speed as well at at 1.25x. The latter speed is just around the same speed as the original key used for "It's Raining Somewhere Else." The tone, slowed down speed and lowered key does make the cogs in your mind turn, wondering what Sans is truly thinking throughout his daily life. Combine the outlook of his personality with this song, subtly relating to his leitmotif, along with the things you find in the room where this song play gives you a new outlook on his character. Despite all the clues that you try to gather up throughout the entire game, Sans is still a hugely mysterious character. It's no wonder we, the players, want to learn more about him, and have even resorted to theorycrafting our own theories, or find theories that have already be assumed, and contemplate on the possibilities and connections that draw every little piece together. Anyone else here agree?
I think that the line in this room "Don't Forget" is what helped sans become aware of the timelines. He wrote it down during a timeline when Gaster passed, and then when he went back there...he remembered. He kept doing this until he realized what was happening.
"Our Reports showed a massive anomoly in the space-time continuum. Timelines jumping left and right, stopping and starting...until everything comes to an end. Heh, that's your fault, isn't it?" and "Getting to the surface doesn't really appeal either. 'Cause even if we do, we'll just end up right back here without any memory of it, right?"
He says those things in the Genocide Battle. By him even mentioning timelines, that means he has to at least be AWARE of them. Nobody else except Flowey/Asriel talk about the Timelines.
weird coincidence, i listened to this the day after i learned my mom had breast cancer. A year later and she’s pretty much all better which is nothing short of a miracle for her and our family. but i remember listening to this and just softly crying, fearing what the future might bring upon my mom and what we would have to go through. looking back, if things had gone differently and she hadnt made it i think this song would be drastically different to me. “he looks happy” god, what a good line of text. i imagine thats how it would feel, looking at old photographs of our family before we would have lost her. its certainly odd to think about and it still gets me fairly emotional now haha :,)
I imagine that this might actually work for a Genocide version where he takes you to Grillby's when you interact with him at the bridge, instead of his usual "you're gonna have a bad time." shtick. It'd maybe go something like this: *looks like we didn't need you to have a good time after all, eh? *hey, it seems like you're gonna fight my brother real soon. *can we have a chat in grillby's real quick? *...thanks. (This starts playing) *so... LV(your lv at that time, likely 8), eh? *you're aware of what you're doing. *and by the look on your face, you know it isn't XP, but Execution Points. *...eh, forget it. *listen, kid. let me tell you a story. *so i'm a sentry in snowdin forest. no-one really comes by except the odd Ice Cap or two, maybe a human but it's been a while. *and as you likely know, there's this HUGE door in the middle of nowhere. not even paps knows it's there. *well, one day... this lady comes talkin' to me, and she's hilarious. but based on what i've noticed, you know all this already. *anyways, she's not laughing as much one day... today, in fact. she was saying that it's been pretty quiet since you landed down here. *i get intrigued, i mean, the ruins are quiet already. nobody really lives there anymore. *she tells me that it seems like there are less people around. less than usual, mind you. *but she wonders, where'd they go? i told her i hadn't seen anyone leave, because that's the truth. i ain't. *she thanks me for my time, i tell her no prob, and we move on. *you stumble outta there, much to her dismay i imagine. *... *she's not responding, as far as i can tell. *maybe she's not feeling well? *heh heh heh... *or maybe she's not feeling anything at all. *kiddo, i assume you're a human. i can only assume, since you don't look too human, but you look far different from any of us: *my bro, Papyrus, i mentioned how you'll fight him... *if you could not. please. it isn't even for me. it's for him. *he's been so excited to finally capture you, and take you off to the capital, and have hundreds of adoring fans, that i just don't have the heart to tell him that he won't have quite as many fans as he hoped. *if you do fight him, i imagine you won't give up on this path... *god. i've taken up a lot of your time, when you've gotta get thinking. *see ya, kiddo. and make the right choice.
I made this short poem, and I found the right OST for it. I don’t know if it really puts out Sans’ character, but I couldn’t help but do it, since I knew he went through so much. “He was smiling” He was smiling. Because he told bad puns. He was smiling. Because he always had fun. He was smiling. Because her laugh made his day. He was smiling. Because they would horseplay. He was smiling. Because time didn’t stop. He was smiling. Because there were no raindrops. He was smiling. Because it was for his endeavor. He was smiling. Because he thought time lasted forever. ... He was crying. Because he knew time resets. He was crying. Because he knows that they were a marionette. He was crying. And he wasn’t smiling. And we thought he was beaming. Because.. He was smiling.
* gee, you must really want to go home don't cha? * i know the feeling, bud. - sans. * HIS ROOM IT'S LIKE ANOTHER WORLD! -Papyrus. * i tried to go back a long time ago. * and the idea of getting out of the underground doesn't appeal to me anymore. -sans sans' secret room is a slowed down version of "It's Raining *Somewhere Else*" * Beware of the man who came from another world. - River Man.
a machine whispers into a skeleton's ear. "Time is a toy, and there's someone playing with it." "You will move back, but you can never move forward." "And worst of all, you will never even notice." faced with the burden of this knowledge, the skeleton cracks a joke and gives up.
Does anybody else this think that this theme sounds like something that would take place in a scene like this; A character is sitting on a bench in a hospital on the lower floor, the background noises are people walking by and they’re waiting and waiting. When the beat “drops” or changes in like the first minute, it shows that the character is still waiting there but the hospital is abandoned.
His smile would probably pull a lesser dog and grow so large it goes of screen. But in all seriousness your comment is sad...Thanks for making me feel depressed.
It's raining somewhere else makes me think of happy times happening in the present, but this version makes me think of those moments but all blurry and hard to make out, like something that happened a long time ago, something you hope you don't forget
Also the picture of three poorly drawn smiling people is super depressing and the picture of you and your friends if you've done a pacifist run hit me hard lol
I just realized that this song is a slowed down version of "It's Raining Somewhere Else" which is a slowed down version of "sans." WHICH IS a slowed down version of "Song that might play when you fight Sans" (Thanks, Slowy!) It's like different layers of emotions. A face- no, a mask. The "Song that might play when you fight Sans" is the mask that everyone see. But on the inside, it's "San's Secret Room."
once you learn the context of this and why its so important just hearing it to me is simultaneously relaxing and oddly spooky... hearing makes me feel chills running down my back... well done Toby... well done... such a happy game with a story deeper then the hole on mt ebbot...
our reports showed a massive anomaly in the timespace. OUR. Implying more than one. I think that's what happened. I think that machine was supposed to stop the anomaly. and I think the anomaly didn't disappear. In his anger and frustration, Gaster looked inside, to try and figure out what was wrong. I think Sans was the cause. maybe he left something undone in the machine. maybe he bumped into at one point, knocking something loose. Whatever happened, Gaster fell into the machine. The machine erased him, and killed everyone else. that's when Sans gives up. He caused this all. And it's his fault he can't stop it. He's fighting for all his friends. Not just Papyrus. Not just Asgore. Not Alphys, Undyne, Napstablook, not anyon you meet. but for the friends and the mentor he lost. trying. to stop. YOU.
sans’s personality goes far deeper than telling puns. he has memory he decides not to share and gives up not trying. that’s why he’s truly lazy because he gave up (shown in sans battle and saving him) a long time ago. he talks to toriel because he feels safe with her since he felt lonely with a brother who is too busy with undyne and possibly asgore. although toriel tells him to take care of humans who come out of the ruins, he follows what she said. he also trusts frisk to not kill loved ones and tells his relationship with toriel. he also has the basement that papyrus possibly doesn’t know about and the 3 people smiling is possibly gaster, his father or his assistant. he has little to share when you first meet him since he acts like a comedian.
Just practicing my poetry. This is from Sans' point of view. I lie awake, thinking My troubles, taking over me. I can't take it. I can't do anymore. My past, so bright and cheerful I wish I could go back Hang out with my old buddies, But that's impossible. I walk into my secret room Look at the blueprint left untouched The photo sitting there With my happiest times. "Don't forget" engraved Telling me a message Why would I forget Such an amazing time in my life? My three old buddies from the past Now gone for an unknown cause I cry and sit In the worst time in my life. I just want to give up. I don't want to be here. If I give up hope now, Things won't go right, though. At least I have Grillby and Papyrus Supporting me through my issues. For them, I will live on. Resets, determination, all of it in my head Pacifist, genocide, I can't get it out. What will they do next? Why should I care anymore? I stand up. It is time. The human should arrive soon. Why do they still continue? I walk out. Three genocide runs in a row. Will this be a fourth time? Or will they give us freedom? I walk out to my post Awaiting the human. As they walk through, I see what they chose. Their face... Their emotion... That expression. They've done it again. I don't want to do this anymore. I'm exhausted from all of my fights. Will they finally stop After this run? I'll make this interesting. I don't want to make it the same. Papyrus, you won't die. Instead, I will. Do my normal stuff, Watch them kill on. I smile, knowing that finally... This will not end the same. Papyrus blocks the human. I stand and wait for the moment. The human walks up to him. I go bolting in front of him. Strike. The human has hit. I clutch my chest. It hurts. Papyrus looks worried. I smile and say my last words. "Papyrus, I tried to warn you. They aren't good, they can't be changed. Four times they have done this. It is up to you to stop them." My dust scatters across the snow. Papyrus looks distraught. The human looks surprised. I changed fate. Finally, it's different. Human, please stop this rampage. Understand our pain. Understand our emotions. We're people too. Why won't you stop?
Useless theory time: That lab thing has to do with Deltarune . When you get clamgirl, she talks about a girl named “suzy” while its spelled differently than the susie in Deltarune, that’s probably to not give it away. on the switch version, she says “you will meet suzy very soon” or something like that, before disappearing, note that the switch version came out like a month before Deltarune. Now the intresting part is that the dialogue in the room changes after meeting clamgirl. Now for the room itself, the machine in the corner and the blueprints look a lot like the thing for the “Machine to thrash your own ass”. And the photo in that drawer with a bunch of people you don’t recognize sounds like Deltarune characters. Another thing to note: it’s raining somewhere else...but theres no rain in the underground. Does this sound like a coincidence?
This place has things that maybe are deltarune dko Like.. After you talk to clamgirl which casually in the switch version she looks like a gaster follower and talks about some character called suzy, the photo of sans has 3 people that i think they are kris, susie and ralsei And behind that it says dont forget
* (There's a photo album inside the drawer.) * (There are photos of...Huh?) * ( A card is sticking out from the back flap of the binder.) * (It's a poorly drawn picture of three smiling people.) * (Written on it...) ...... * "don't forget."
I've never been a big fan of the game i must admit, but somehow this track in particular just touches me the most. I don't know why, but i feel emotional. Like i remember something i have long forgotten
What I love about sans's story is that Toby leaves it up to you to fill in the blanks. Unless he makes a sequel to Undertale(Deltarune is not a sequel), I suppose we'll never know.
Deltarune isn't completely done yet, but there are several hints that the sans we meet is the same sans we know from undertale. For Example his house is the exact same as the one in undertale. No other character has that. You could argue mettaton but it's a completely different color.
"He looks happy" that line killed me.
+anika nolan Made me so sad for him.
+anika nolan where it is come from ? A photo of Sans, or... ?
Svart Hert "It's a photo of Sans with a couple of other people you've never seen before. He looks happy." Paraphrasing here, but still sad as hell
+anika nolan Kinda sucks to have that smile on his face all the time. Guess he has to play along with it...
+anika nolan If you go back during the True Pacifist ending and check the picture again, there will be another picture of him with Frisk and everyone else on the surface, which also has the line "He looks happy".
I like to imagine that this song's title is "It's Raining Here."

Sans's Secret Room is a slowed down version of It's Raining Somewhere Else, which by itself is a slowed down version of sans., which by itself is a slowed down version of Song That Might Play When You Fight Sans
Slowy what the fuck :v i don't understand :v

lol
VERY SLOW AND UPSET SANS
Edit: No, He's just So Lazy, that his theme set cannot change. it just changes speed.
SO even though This song has a slower mood to it...it's actually a super fast STMPWYFS?...wow
When he says “it’s time to know the truth” and you turn on the light in his room, you assume he was joking and pranking you, but he meant it about the secret room that you inevitably find, didn’t he
RUclips Watcher I absolutely agree!!!!!!!! Goodness, I’m so glad someone else thinks this! I thought I was going insane.

OH MY GOD THIS REALLY MAKES ME WANT TO HUG SANS

It just gets weirder after the pacifist ending...
+Elias_Knight777 7
If you do the true pacifist ending, then reload the save. The picture will say its frisk and all his friends staring at the sunset (Like in the ending)
Which means, in one way or another, sans does have the ability to time travel, or at least see the future.
+Elias_Knight777 7
How is that not wierd?..
How can sans time travel, but can't stop the "saving" feature?..
*****
Cant he go back to the entrance to the forest, and kill frisk there?
After all, there frisk is only LOVE 3 or something, so even if it does get a hit on him, he wont die.
Also, how can he be so hopeless if he KNOWS there's a future where he is happy? I know he thinks the player will reset it, but he also knows it will happen at one point.
Emphasis on 'looks'
no one will ever know how he is feeling inside.
+IamCaptainMan Sad but true..
+IamCaptainMan if he could frown, i think sans would. i just think, since he's, yknow, a skeleton, he can't move his mouth, unlike papyrus.
+sans the spook actually, some-ending, spoilers, he drinks something, and he closes his mouth around the straw.

but he can't. nobody can.
He can.. he even got a reminder everytime he comes inside.."dont forget"
I thought it was his basement
Somehow hearing this makes me imagine myself all alone sitting on a bus/train station at midnight, waiting for hours while watching the rain.
A sad as well comfortable feeling.
Maybe it's just me.

Dr. Gaster...
+Hawelo92 I find that is a link to that Toby Fox made an old game he made music for like the song of Sans fight. Right now I'm hoping there is a link to homestuck in the music (beside Sans fight) or in the game that shows that Toby Fox work on Homestuck.
+Neckou did you know that he literally lives in Andrew Hussie's (the developer's) basement
+Neon Katzz (Sans) I meant the developer of homestuck's basement
I mean not the artist but in the game of undertale.
+Neckou There's probably more connection to Toby's EB hack. Since his first ideas were there, if we try to connect some things maybe it will lead to the truh.

Incredibly original
That's actually very telling of Sans' psychology. He's always smiling and always joking around, but secretly he's dying inside because the knowledge of multiple timelines is too much for him. He'd much rather not know of anything like that and have a normal life.
Jeffrey Stanley Not multiple timelines, resetting timelines

I'm getting the impression that Sans is kind of depressed, maybe he wears that smile all the time to hide his real tears.
There are pictures of him with other people that you don't know, and he's happy in those pictures...
SOMETHING must've happened to give this strong impression of Sans being depressed...
thats a reason why sans ability to remember timelines came about. Genocide could be a reason why sans really is broken on the inside.
also, another thing that i thought about is that the picture with sans and some other people, it seems like it wouldnt say *he looks happy* if it wasnt important

the thing is, sans seems to be smiling throughout the entire game (except for when flowey captures him and the rest, as well as when you kill him on the kill-all run)
but really, he's probably not what it seems.

and, knowing sans is too lazy...
it'd make sense.
also, he's given up "trying to go back."
whatever that means, we don't know.
and sans just says he can't afford not to care anymore.
whatever is with this skelebro, i'm sad for him because he's probably depressed and broken down to the point of surrender.
so never assume someone who seems happy feels as happy inside as they look on the outside.

Sans is ness, easy.
ᵀʰᵉ ᴾᵘˢˢʸ ᴰᵉˢᵗʳᵒʸᵉʳ no.
word of god says that he is not.
This is my theory/headcanon for Sans' life:
Sans was one of the top minds in the Underground, a genius by most standards.
EDIT:
I'm just going to tack this on the end since I'm too lazy to go in and put this into the story such that it would make half a lick of sense.
Although one thing does strike me as odd,
Gaster,Whatever happened to him,Didn't really kill him I mean he's still around somehow in the game.
If this theory were true, wouldn't that Sans is just...
a SKELETON of his former self?
orochimarujes I suppose after Asriel and the first human died is not quite accurate, but more of after Alphys experimented with determination.
Because you, the player, are the one and true gaster.
thechcoman >telling genocide players to stop killing
You’ve just described the hivemind. it is not possible. Chara combines all the timelines and then kills everyone in the end. It cannot change. I’m sorry. i wish it was different but it can’t be. So it began, so it ends.
Or better yet, delete your Genocide save file, and your True Pacifist will be saved...except you know what you did, and you'll have to live with that, despite your "happy ending".
@@Ιωάννης-ξ8φ Toby; lol no haha
everyone here is talking about the "He looks happy." line, and for good reason, but there's actually another line from this room that's interesting, and it only happens if your Fun value is from 80-89...
(in case you don't know, "Fun" is a hidden value that determines random events at the start of each playthrough, like a phone call from Alphys or a Gaster Follower)
if you get the key to this room while your Fun value is in that range, the drawer that had photos of sans looking happy with people you don't recognize now says that there's a card sticking out from underneath the photos, with a "poorly drawn picture of 3 smiling people"
and written on it: "don't forget".
there is one more thing that happens in this Fun value range:
in Waterfall, an NPC called Clam Girl appears and talks to you about meeting someone named "Suzy"
and, in the Switch version of the game, which was close to Deltarune Chapter 1's release, this dialogue was changed to say that your time to meet Suzy was "fast approaching".
...and then we met Susie. in Deltarune.
but why is the only other thing to happen in this Fun value range a new dialogue in sans's secret room?
- it says, in what's assumed to be sans's writing, "don't forget"
- Don't Forget is a reaccuring song and theme in Deltarune
- there's a broken machine in the same room
- sans says in his fight that he "gave up trying to go back", and he's not talking about the surface
i dunno about you, but it's becoming increasingly possible to me that that "Somewhere Else" where sans came from is none other than Deltarune.
maybe those "3 smiling people" are even Kris, Ralsei, and Susie...
makes me wonder if we'll actually see what happened to Sans in later chapters?
Listening to this while looking at the rain pour down through my window...
It's a beaut. It sends a tear to my eye.

This is some remembrance to remember the people I have hurt their feelings.

Its weird how, despite this being a low pitched slowed down "its raining somewhere else" the long pause for the loop is entirely gone, and instead the background melody just keeps on going even after the final "ding" thats meant to normally be the last of the main melody before it gets to the moment of silence and loops
Not only is it an extremely strange change, but its also kind of anxiety inducing lol
like i constantly hear the "ding" and expect the pause to happen at some point and it just, never happens (unless this was only done for this video, i forgot if this is the same in the game)
In the true pacifist end, this is also entirely gone, and unlike any other secret room (and papyrus' room for some reason) the theme for the underground just keeps playing, either toby forgot about keeping the rooms' theme or its somehow unlikely intentional

His last words are, "But nobody came."
That's only me though, anyone agree with me?

Sans is such a deep character, there's a lot of theories of him being sad, or depressed. And the more you read between the lines the more evidence you find of it.
He's by far my favourite character of the game, because he still has so much mystery surrounding him.
He isn't deep, he doesn't have depression and there is no evidence -_-. Moreover Papyrus is more mysterious and people seem to miss it for some reason
No wonder why he's so depressed-
it's the fact after everything it's all going to be reset eventually so he doesn''t bother with anything anymore
Why do you think that he is depressed? Only Asriel fight and the genocide route shows that he *might've* been sad *before*. Also, Papyrus is more of a mystery character than Sans is imo
Sans is the perfect example of a character who's "cursed with knowledge".
"the truth is that you got owned, nerd......"
Ya know,i think that's how my life is :'(

Oooooooooooofff
sans literally has a machine and a blueprint of it. he was literally trying to fix it to get back to a world he was happy in.
Played this on normal speed as well at at 1.25x. The latter speed is just around the same speed as the original key used for "It's Raining Somewhere Else."
The tone, slowed down speed and lowered key does make the cogs in your mind turn, wondering what Sans is truly thinking throughout his daily life.
Nobody else except Flowey/Asriel talk about the Timelines.
you must feel real silly now, dont you?
@@therealmaggiemae why would they? if you're talking about deltarune, that's just a theory. neither of them are right or wrong lol.
weird coincidence, i listened to this the day after i learned my mom had breast cancer. That's... * sniff * that's the best poem I've ever read, kid.
-sans
sans' secret room is a slowed down version of "It's Raining *Somewhere Else*"
* Beware of the man who came from another world.
- River Man.
It's Raining *Somewhere Else* think about it.
a machine whispers into a skeleton's ear.
"Time is a toy, and there's someone playing with it."
"You will move back, but you can never move forward."
"And worst of all, you will never even notice."
faced with the burden of this knowledge,
the skeleton cracks a joke and gives up.
Hi. My name is Sans Skeleton. This is my secret room. Don't tell anyone, OK?
I'd really like to see how sans looks when he's happy.
His smile would probably pull a lesser dog and grow so large it goes of screen. But in all seriousness your comment is sad...Thanks for making me feel depressed.
Well that's true, sans's smile is just a facade.
Laughter hide the pain.
*Don't forget, I'm with you in the dark.
It's raining somewhere else makes me think of happy times happening in the present, but this version makes me think of those moments but all blurry and hard to make out, like something that happened a long time ago, something you hope you don't forget
Cool song but also depressing at the same time
+MinecraftMan456 speed it to x2 speed. you will feel better ;v;
no, 1.25
Yea
ikr
"There are photos of Sans with a lot of people you don't recognize.
He looks happy."
that line almost made me cry lol
Also the picture of three poorly drawn smiling people is super depressing and the picture of you and your friends if you've done a pacifist run hit me hard lol
@@krispyhoe2126Three people
A human, a monster, and a prince from the dark
*Don't forget*
I honestly didn’t care too much about this song, but over time, it grew onto me. This is easily one of my favorite songs in the game.
*despite everything
*it's still you
*the legendary fart master
I just realized that this song is a slowed down version of "It's Raining Somewhere Else" which is a slowed down version of "sans." WHICH IS a slowed down version of "Song that might play when you fight Sans" (Thanks, Slowy!)
It's like different layers of emotions. A face- no, a mask. The "Song that might play when you fight Sans" is the mask that everyone see. But on the inside, it's "San's Secret Room."
oh, this is so nice. some sweet marimba and bass plucking in the background.
once you learn the context of this and why its so important just hearing it to me is simultaneously relaxing and oddly spooky... hearing makes me feel chills running down my back... well done Toby... well done... such a happy game with a story deeper then the hole on mt ebbot...
I listen to this song when I'm sad....
But I'm always sad :(
then u listen to this everytime lol
GenerationGames ™ True (:
yeah, this song is sad but i prefer fallen down (saying goodbye)
idk why but is the true
I prefer both, for me they're Both as sad
do you want a hug? i think we all need a hug when we are sad =P
our reports showed a massive anomaly in the timespace. Not Alphys, Undyne, Napstablook, not anyon you meet. but for the friends and the mentor he lost. trying. to stop. YOU.
"Laughter Hides The Pain"
-Migospell, an enemy in Hard Mode.
Probably even more depressed than sans.
yes and when chara “laughs off” the pain
The meanest person was once the kindest, the saddest person was once the happiest, and the most indifferent person once cared too much...
*It's a drawer, you open it.
*Inside you find some kind of badge.
*It does not involve Earthbound, by the way.
i love how this song has a relaxing atmosphere but you still feel this bit of sadness in the pit of your stomach.
sans’s personality goes far deeper than telling puns. he has memory he decides not to share and gives up not trying. that’s why he’s truly lazy because he gave up (shown in sans battle and saving him) a long time ago. he talks to toriel because he feels safe with her since he felt lonely with a brother who is too busy with undyne and possibly asgore. although toriel tells him to take care of humans who come out of the ruins, he follows what she said. he also trusts frisk to not kill loved ones and tells his relationship with toriel. he also has the basement that papyrus possibly doesn’t know about and the 3 people smiling is possibly gaster, his father or his assistant. he has little to share when you first meet him since he acts like a comedian.
Just practicing my poetry. This is from Sans' point of view.
I lie awake, thinking
My troubles, taking over me.
I can't take it.
I can't do anymore.
My past, so bright and cheerful
I wish I could go back
Hang out with my old buddies,
But that's impossible.
I walk into my secret room
Look at the blueprint left untouched
The photo sitting there
With my happiest times.
"Don't forget" engraved
Telling me a message
Why would I forget
Such an amazing time in my life?
My three old buddies from the past
Now gone for an unknown cause
I cry and sit
In the worst time in my life.
I just want to give up.
I don't want to be here.
If I give up hope now,
Things won't go right, though.
At least I have Grillby and Papyrus
Supporting me through my issues.
For them,
I will live on.
Resets, determination, all of it in my head
Pacifist, genocide, I can't get it out.
What will they do next?
Why should I care anymore?
I stand up.
It is time.
The human should arrive soon.
Why do they still continue?
I walk out.
Three genocide runs in a row.
Will this be a fourth time?
Or will they give us freedom?
I walk out to my post
Awaiting the human.
As they walk through,
I see what they chose.
Their face...
Their emotion...
That expression.
They've done it again.
I don't want to do this anymore.
I'm exhausted from all of my fights.
Will they finally stop
After this run?
I'll make this interesting.
I don't want to make it the same.
Papyrus, you won't die.
Instead, I will.
Do my normal stuff,
Watch them kill on.
It is up to you to stop them."
My dust scatters across the snow.
This place has things that maybe are deltarune dko
Like..
After you talk to clamgirl which casually in the switch version she looks like a gaster follower and talks about some character called suzy, the photo of sans has 3 people that i think they are kris, susie and ralsei
And behind that it says dont forget
* (There's a photo album inside the drawer.)
* (There are photos of...Huh?)
* ( A card is sticking out from the back flap of the binder.)
* (It's a poorly drawn picture of three smiling people.)
* (Written on it...)
......
* "don't forget."
Don’t forget . I’m with you in the dark
This song makes me think about the times where I used to be so happy and care free and how so many things changed
I'm extremely happy at the near-complete lack of "Sans is Ness" comments
Victini Vids NESS IS SANS
