Buffs are fine and all but most of the druid hero talent specs need a little more oomph with gameplay/visuals so they actually feel like they are doing something rather than being completely passive. Having bearweaving for feral would help alot, they just need to make it worth it.
They missed out when they didn’t let all druids be all the specs just imagine a bear wild stalker that made most of his abilities dots that spread roots, boomie Druid of the claw that can feral dot/ swap to bear with fluid form or a feral elunes chosen with starfall procs shooting lasers in a moon cat form while in incarn. Would have been nice.
Bro, I just logged in with my feral after season 1 in DF just to get him the Dalaran prepatch set and all the catch up gear and with full 480 ilvl he does like 300k+ ferociou bite ? Are ferals good again ?
This hero spec better turn out good because there is no f****** way I'm going Elune's Chosen as a bear. I dont' care HOW much Blizzard trying to bend the lore to make it fit Guardian, it's simply abnormal! Also I miss the classic shapeshifting druid, even if DotC gives me a few seconds cat for every minute or so. *holds thumbs*
Did all of the druid specs get moonkin form back or am I going to have to keep playing one of my alts as my new main? This is literally all I care about.
Play it with a resto shaman for skyfury and Druid of the claw feels much better. I think it is going to end up better than EC….. sad about it because I love moonbear, but dotc is able to get a lot more mitigation and EC lost a ton of its healing
They need to fix the core issues with the spec. They can nerf the numbers at any time and the spec will then feel bad AND perform poorly. These buffs were an absolute cop out. The talent trees are a disaster. You can't even spec the class tree if you only take things that buff Cat form or can be used in cat form. The UI elements are a train wreck -- you need weak auras to play Feral. Sudden Ambush has no UI element, neither does the empowered Mangle from Druid of the Claw. Ravage/Apex Predator have no UI element outside an icon change on your action bar. Not ideal. Regrowth is a clunky self heal, it needs a rework to either be castable from cat form or to swap to Frenzied Regen. They broke the macro tech that used to prevent you from getting yeeted out of cat form if you it it without a proc. There are 6 talents for Berserk/Incarn in the spec tree, the top of the tree as poor choices and forces you into Sudden Ambush/Predatory Strikes. The bottom of the tree is starved for points and the middle is just wasted on mandatory berserk nodes. They should rework Rampant Ferocity to work based on your actual FB damage so that it benefits from all of the talents that buff FB, which would create real synergy in the tree instead of simulating it by making it scale on some of the same things that FB scales with. Dot Snapshotting is cancer, they need to remove it forever. They need to buff the hell out of the empowered Mangle from Druid of the Claw and make it cleave, they also need to give us more to do in Bear form for DPS than one global. They really fucked the pooch on cat/bear weaving. Shred does such a small amount of damage for the energy cost that a 20-50% buff on it's damage is barely going to be noticeable. Right now it hits for like 25-30k damage on live. It's awful. Feral's melee is a microscopic % of their damage. 20-50% buffs on it's damage won't even be noticeable. If the plan is to nerf our Energy Regen -- then every ability that spends energy should be doing SIGNIFICANTLY more damage per cast, and they didn't even remotely do that. All the people talking about playing Feral right now cause it does acceptable damage are just going to get it nerfed, and then everyone who mains this spec is going to be left with a dumpsterfire once again. And make no mistake -- they are going to nerf it again. This is exactly what they did last xpac too.
What would you replace the haste with in Savage Fury? I would not mind reducing Tiger's Fury by 10 seconds. It would solve energy starvations every 20 seconds and might make it easier to line up with Incarnation.

I'm a galactic moonfire type guardian and that's the way i enjoy playing and the only way i will play so i won't be using cat form products if it will be switching me out of bear . But i lean toward the moonfire spam chill.

Dude if ferals could proc a boomy spell like full moon or stars it would make it alot more fun

Druid is one of these classes. It's very easy but hard to master.

elunes chosen actually is pretty fun imho but happy to say from personal testing cat weaving is very fun
