Ele has been my main since late Vanilla. I love it dearly. It's only become my primary alt since Legion when Survival hunter changed to melee and I fell in love with it. That said, I'm sure we're going to have an absolute blast with Ele this time around.
I just subscribed again for the first time since The Lich King. Just restarted my old Warlock main. I remember him being a versatile beast back in the day. Glad I'm picking him back up.
Lol DK, Evoker, Shaman, and Warlock were already my warband. They're the classes i have played time and time again over the course of WoW's history from Vanilla as a lock to what it is today

Shamans are absolutely lit honestly, I stuck with DH for so long but found after I got out of my own way, I've had more fun with Ele Shaman than I have with DH in years.
I fired up the game after having not touched it in a very long time and dusted off my enhance shaman. It feels pretty good, and the echo's event is quite fun.
My issue is I find fun in most all of the classes so I can never pick one or two to play throughout each xpac. Constantly swapping and never getting far in endgame. Been playing since 2005 and it’s my curse 😂
Main Aff lock, alt melee dps. Wich one I got every class lvl 70. Ret, unholy dk, or warrior? Focus will be m+, highest personal rating with pugs is 3k+. Had problems finding groups on warrior took alot of time
If that’s the case the rating only make sense if you value high difficulty as something good. As this is for newer players that doesn’t make much sense. Besides I would put DK under mage. Unholy DK is one of the hardest speccs to optimize in terms of gameplay.

They'll figure it out in time bud. I'm not worried. I'm playing Survival again no matter what, and I'll make it work. We've got 3 DPS specs to roll with, one of them will be good. Just wait it out for now and reap the benefits later if you're not confident.
what i really like about this, especially the title of the video, is that you're making suggestions for the viewers rather than a tier list. What frustrates me so much, is i see so many people making tier lists for TWW and i'm just sitting here like "bro, you made a tier list for healers, you made one for dps, but why? you're gonna need to make one for when the expansion actually drops because classes are getting buffed, nerfed and reworked basically daily up until the release. It's not actually helping anyone" so thank you sky. Devastation has some of the lowest sustained dps in the current beta build. Without significant buffs, it's dead in the water. It IS "bad by any means" at the moment. Fortunately for Evoker fans, though, the other two specs are not hurting.
Assassination Rogue has really nice AOE with Fan of Knives and Crimson Tempest. My only issue is that it feels somewhat squishy. Arms Warrior holds up much better defensively and is extremely bursty and with terrific AOE, and is also extremely easy to play. Feral Rouge is more difficult yet still my preference, and I love questing as Guardian.
As someone who plays all healers and prefers healing as a role, I can’t disagree with you more that preservation is the “best” healer. IMO they are the only healer I don’t like. Personal preference ofc
Looks like I have to choose between DK or Mage. Probably going to go with DK since you can fulfill 2 roles; tank & dps and I am so much more comfortable tanking.
For warlock , destro and demo talents are bugged AF . Affli is only one spec with minor buffs for that is ahead, and ele shaman is already nerfed to the ground on PBE

I played BC and WotLK. must have about 20 Alts but the only class I enjoyed enough to max was the Paladin. paid for one month to see what’s new thinking I’ll buy the expansion if I’m still playing at a the months end. By the sound of it there’s no point in making it to end game if no one will want a PAL in their group.
Thinking about jumping into WoW. I was a FFxi player. Played in 1 of the top clans in NA for 10 years. I dont care for FF14 and want to find a mmo to get back into. I never had WoW on my radar bcuz I didn't want to start new in a game that's been out for 30years and be at a severe disadvantage. But.... I'm curious to know what character should I start out with, if I were to play WoW, and want to learn the games mechanics, layout, keyfigs, movements, and battle system? I enjoy doing lots of damage but I also like support classes as in buffs and debuffs and crowd control. I have all the free time in the world, so time learning isn't an issue. I also enjoy soloing stuff that isn't supposed to be soloed and like leveling solo. Not sure how leveling is in this game, but in ffxi 98% of the leveling was group based. Any suggestions would be much appreciated! I'll look into those classes if suggested!
Well I think a class that is pretty simple to pick up while being able to provide respectable damage and support to the party would have to be the Aug evoker!

Warrior been a favorite class, got boored with it because 0 utility for mythic + compared to other classes. If you dont give them more dmg then other classes they suck. Rerolled warlock and its really fun to and great utility for M+ but hope they buff Warriors for mythic +
I want to play evoker scalecommander so much, but I feel Blizzard is not going to give it anymore attention, where their single target is utter trash :(

Not gonna be too critical, but how are Mage and Death Knight at 6/10 on group utility ? Mass barrier alone puts mage at 7/10, that is without talking about Bloodlust, and food for M+, also Mage has a Raid buff, one of the shortest interrupts, Dragon's breath, Blast Wave and like 5 personal defensive buttons... Also I do think Mage has the most varied builds in the game, if you look at Mage sims there are a lot of different builds within each others range even within the same hero talent build, And this is coming from a Mage main, good video though
mass bar got nerfed SUPER hard, not only that, alot of what you said was being tied to fire mage Also DK AMZ Got nerfed multiple times as well. There are 100% classes out there with way more utility like priest, shaman, and evoker
@@TheComebackKidsNone of what I mentioned is Fire mage locked, the fact is that mage utility is OP and Broken, and nowhere near a 6/10, even Frost mage has more utility because it helps your tank kite in higher M+, Arcane Intellect is insane for healers that's why it got nerfed, and Mage just doesn't die as a class. Also we have Spellsteal and Curse dispell. You seem to tie utility to damage and that's just incorrect. Also ofc the mass barrier nerf did nothing 😊 because in any competent group what matters is not the CD but the shield value (which is improved by both hero talents btw) I know it doesn't matter now, just wanted to set the record straight on what I consider a wildly incorrect rating / analysis.
I'm not sure why but arms currently feels weird like it's lacking something it doesn't feel like "arms" and I don't know what gods I need to pray to for devs to finally change that stupid overpower dual wield animation which makes zero sense on arms since you use only one 2h weapon
I just wish Enhance Shamans had a two handed build option, Frost DKs get that option, and Fury Warrior gets single minded fury, so why can't Shamans get Two handed mastery?

Interesting that even though druid can do role in the game, it didn't make it on the list. Guess other classes do druid's job better except when it comes to bringing mark of the wild.

Haven't played WoW in ages, but definitely a fury warrior. A simple armored brute who causes absolute destruction in his path. Fury is his oath. I can't get into the game as I feel it's way too late. Bought it back in 2013 but didn't have anything to run it lol.
It isn’t too late and the start of the expansion is the perfect time to start as it is a hard reset for everyone pretty much, the great equalizer if you will.
I kinda have to question the entire video when I hear "all three of these specs are very high tier when it comes to DPS" when Fire is literally lower damage than two tank specs. Also frostfire is way way lower damage in ST than the other 2 hero talents, and slightly below in AoE. Unless something changed in the last 2-3 days I guess.
@@TheComebackKids Yeah, we dont KNOW, but we have statistical probabilities based on prior performance. For every 1 spec that has been trash in beta, and then turned into a top half performer in the first raid timeframe, you could mention 5 that stayed trash, couldnt you? This is why we buy stocks assuming over time they will raise in value, not because the outlook is great atm, but because over time thats what its been historically.
Shammy these days has way too many keybinds. 3 action bars isn't enough. It looks great at first glance, but when you go to play it, you don't have enough fingers or action bars. I love the shaman vibes and was excited to play shammy, but now that I've tried out the prepatch, I can say it has too many buttons for me to press. :(

Ton of the top m+ beta keys have WW in them. They have strong utility and amazing aoe with CDs. Single target not the highest but overall dungeon damage is top tier. WW has just always been a less played and less popular class so it doesn’t get the mainstream love. I think it’s going to shine under the radar in TWW

I like the devastation core rotation and feel of the class. Not a big fan of buffing other people to do my damage or healing. Rolling back to DK

Sunfury talent tree is actually the strongest numbers wise. Arcane SF does the most ST damage of any spec in beta atm

im still seeing as a lost that the augmentation evoker wasnt a bard... a bard buffing allies would have been so much better

I dont know when you made this video, but as of now the Sunfury talent is the strongest out of the 3, especially for Arcane.
As someone who plays all healers and prefers healing as a role, I can’t disagree with you more that preservation is the “best” healer. IMO they are the only healer I don’t like. Personal preference ofc

For warlock , destro and demo talents are bugged AF . Affli is only one spec with minor buffs for that is ahead, and ele shaman is already nerfed to the ground on PBE

I played BC and WotLK. must have about 20 Alts but the only class I enjoyed enough to max was the Paladin. paid for one month to see what’s new thinking I’ll buy the expansion if I’m still playing at a the months end. By the sound of it there’s no point in making it to end game if no one will want a PAL in their group.

Thinking about jumping into WoW. I was a FFxi player. Played in 1 of the top clans in NA for 10 years. I dont care for FF14 and want to find a mmo to get back into.
I never had WoW on my radar bcuz I didn't want to start new in a game that's been out for 30years and be at a severe disadvantage.
But.... I'm curious to know what character should I start out with, if I were to play WoW, and want to learn the games mechanics, layout, keyfigs, movements, and battle system? I enjoy doing lots of damage but I also like support classes as in buffs and debuffs and crowd control. I have all the free time in the world, so time learning isn't an issue. I also enjoy soloing stuff that isn't supposed to be soloed and like leveling solo. Not sure how leveling is in this game, but in ffxi 98% of the leveling was group based.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated! I'll look into those classes if suggested!
Well I think a class that is pretty simple to pick up while being able to provide respectable damage and support to the party would have to be the Aug evoker!

@derekbaker4763 Augmentation is the spec that is the most wanted by groups in the game, it makes everyone better, and not enough people play it. It will most likely be Skyy’s main
Warrior been a favorite class, got boored with it because 0 utility for mythic + compared to other classes. If you dont give them more dmg then other classes they suck. Rerolled warlock and its really fun to and great utility for M+ but hope they buff Warriors for mythic +

They just haven't seen much changes since dragonflight. Assassination is their best spec atm, scales well with the longer fights.
Not gonna be too critical, but how are Mage and Death Knight at 6/10 on group utility ? Mass barrier alone puts mage at 7/10, that is without talking about Bloodlust, and food for M+, also Mage has a Raid buff, one of the shortest interrupts, Dragon's breath, Blast Wave and like 5 personal defensive buttons...
Also I do think Mage has the most varied builds in the game, if you look at Mage sims there are a lot of different builds within each others range even within the same hero talent build,

Also DK AMZ Got nerfed multiple times as well. There are 100% classes out there with way more utility like priest, shaman, and evoker
AMS, talented properly, also buffs several friendly players nearby. In M+, that’s pretty huge.
@@TheComebackKidsNone of what I mentioned is Fire mage locked, the fact is that mage utility is OP and Broken, and nowhere near a 6/10, even Frost mage has more utility because it helps your tank kite in higher M+, Arcane Intellect is insane for healers that's why it got nerfed, and Mage just doesn't die as a class.
Also we have Spellsteal and Curse dispell.
You seem to tie utility to damage and that's just incorrect. Also ofc the mass barrier nerf did nothing 😊 because in any competent group what matters is not the CD but the shield value (which is improved by both hero talents btw)

I'm not sure why but arms currently feels weird like it's lacking something it doesn't feel like "arms" and I don't know what gods I need to pray to for devs to finally change that stupid overpower dual wield animation which makes zero sense on arms since you use only one 2h weapon

I just wish Enhance Shamans had a two handed build option, Frost DKs get that option, and Fury Warrior gets single minded fury, so why can't Shamans get Two handed mastery?

Haven't played WoW in ages, but definitely a fury warrior. A simple armored brute who causes absolute destruction in his path. Fury is his oath.
I can't get into the game as I feel it's way too late. Bought it back in 2013 but didn't have anything to run it lol.
It isn’t too late and the start of the expansion is the perfect time to start as it is a hard reset for everyone pretty much, the great equalizer if you will.
I kinda have to question the entire video when I hear "all three of these specs are very high tier when it comes to DPS" when Fire is literally lower damage than two tank specs. Also frostfire is way way lower damage in ST than the other 2 hero talents, and slightly below in AoE. Unless something changed in the last 2-3 days I guess.
You are falling into the trap of going off of beta dps numbers, NO ONE knows what classes will be meta yet, NO ONE.

@@TheComebackKids Yeah, we dont KNOW, but we have statistical probabilities based on prior performance. For every 1 spec that has been trash in beta, and then turned into a top half performer in the first raid timeframe, you could mention 5 that stayed trash, couldnt you?
This is why we buy stocks assuming over time they will raise in value, not because the outlook is great atm, but because over time thats what its been historically.
We mention numbers but that’s not what the videos about, it’s more about how they feel to play

Shammy these days has way too many keybinds. 3 action bars isn't enough. It looks great at first glance, but when you go to play it, you don't have enough fingers or action bars. I love the shaman vibes and was excited to play shammy, but now that I've tried out the prepatch, I can say it has too many buttons for me to press. :(

Ton of the top m+ beta keys have WW in them. They have strong utility and amazing aoe with CDs. Single target not the highest but overall dungeon damage is top tier. WW has just always been a less played and less popular class so it doesn’t get the mainstream love. I think it’s going to shine under the radar in TWW
