Humans: + Basically very good for each class they can use. + Looks good with most transmogs - You are considered boring/not creative by roleplayers.- Guess that's the only drawback
The concept of a mundane human vs monsters, demons and abominations dosent sound boring to me. The fragility of our race is what drives us to achieve the greatest deeds. Humanity shall prevail.
Take into account humans in wow are robot titan forged descendants. The only organic life races from Azeroth are Trolls, Elves, Pandaren Goblin and Tauren.
I race swapped my DK to Vulpera in BFA because I found the race too funny. I also finally started tanking for the first time about 2 months ago, and I was SHOCKED at how impactful their racial Nose For Trouble is. In M+, it’s very consistently my #2 mitigation ability after Blood Shield. It started making sense when I realized it could help with Blood DK’s fundamental weakness of getting 1 shot the easiest of any tanks. It also makes you literally immune to the situation where you Blinding Sleet a trash group, all their auto attack timers line up, and they burst you. That’s definitely the best case scenario for that racial, and it legitimately feels like it’s a 50%+ damage reduction for the global when it does happen.
I started my dk out as a vulpera solely because my friends hate vulpera and i thought it would be funny to troll them with one, even though i thought they looked cool as a dk only to find out this same thing during raids and mythics
Nose for Trouble and Make Camp are amazingly useful in different areas. I love my Shaman can get across the map in 2 directions when they need to. Also now I'm imagining your Vulpera DK coming back to haunt Gilneans post fox hunt gone wrong
My main is goblin warlock. I couldn't live without that Rocket Jump, really. Especially in raids and dungeons where you suddenly face a choice between finishing your long cast and standing in fire or moving (slowly) away from it.
This. My main is a goblin priest. Rocket jump is so ingrained on my muscle memory that I don't think I could play my priest as any other race. I'd die to mechanics too much 😂
I'm a really big lore-nerd, lore is basically my nr. 1 reason for following anything (world building/geography and story are also quite high) so I always refer to play a class that makes sense lore-wise. I know that lore-wise anyone can technically become any class as nothing prevents a Draenei to following the Void, or Fel, but culturally, most would never even think of doing that, hence why I generally pick classes that makes sense for the race I choose.
As a MW player in shadow lands and dragon flight, I played night elf, specifically for shadowmeld. Being able to lose all aggro when tank pulls too much was literally a life saver. I play night elf for all healing specifically for shadowmeld.
Trial of Style is a valid form of combat. Life your best life. Also my guild has a theory that you do less damage if your outfit isn't balanced visually. That Ethereal transmogrifier a leveling dungeon MVP
I couldn't decide what race I wanted for my druid, so now I have 3. Tauren, Troll, and Night Elf. They each got their own color schemes that match their animal forms thanks to the legion artifact appearances lol, no regrets
I would actually argue that Mechagnomes make great tanks in general they have two passives, one gives you a emergency heal when you are low and heals 30% and the other gives you a bonus to your primary stat that ends up going more the longer in combat you are, witch tanks can benefit the most from and this bonus goes well about 1000 by itself.
There are a lot of combos that are outstanding that do not reflect in simulations. One is Worgen Unholy/Blood DK. Their extra sprint = extra uptime during movement and can add a lot of DPS. Another is the Kul Tiran haymaker in M+, as that extra stun, especially on a warrior, is overpowered when the warrior is using his interrupt and 2 other stuns right as well. A final one is the void elf portal. An oft ignored skill, in the right hands it’s a game changer, especially while rooted in a bad place, or needing to avoid a damaging puddle. This is particularly useful for any melee class.
I take breaks often whether it be 1 month or a year, but I always check yalls channel to know what's going on in the meta. Since someone unsubbed I became part of the family haha. Enjoying the heck out of TWW, thanks for the good videos!
Mechagnomes as Hunters have extra aggro control with their hologram projector. If I accidentally pull too much aggression, I send my clones towards the mob my tank is targeting. Really good if Feign Death is on cooldown or even if I'm near the healer and they're getting too much heat. Combat analysis helps boost damage a hair, and emergency failsafe gives a bit more clutch survivability. I might not do as much DPS as some combos, but a lot of parties appreciate the utility and fact that the healer doesn't have to worry too much about healing me as much.

I legit went into a wrath time walking dungeon and immediately somebody was criticising the tank for bring a void elf warrior as "void elf racials don't benefit a warrior"
I think it really depends on how one's gameplay is. For clearing dungeons for farming I tend to favour Nightborne because I can mail things out to my lats every 10 min. Goblins give best price on anything you need to acquire more things (and I do like the offensive/movement rockets), and for getting to farming bosses and getting around the map Vulpera Mage might be the most broken for world map movement. I do like the list is really close so if you wan to make one of every hunter to separate out pet collections you're not penalized too badly

Been a shadow priest main forever and I would argue that being able to generate 20 insanity with arcane torrent during your initial ramp is awesome and feels incredibly powerful. Surely nobody cares about this take but to any aspiring shadow priests reading this, arcane torrent and blood elf is sick for shadow priest.
In mythic-raids the best priest race is hands down goblin, followed by voidelf. A lot of these sims default to long fight times (this one was 5 minute duration) The differences can be more dramatic in short encounters. Imagine a 30-40 second aoe pull in m+ and how it favors a racial like Troll/Orc vs a more passive lower impact racial like +1% haste
Step 1: Is the option to pick undead available? If so, select undead. Step 2: If the option to select undead is unavailable, then it does not matter which race you choose.
in season 3 of DF i pushed to 26 keys as a nightborne mage, so to me at the very least, the 0.5% damage increase is miniscule (although warranted!), but I prefer to have class fantasy XD

2.7% diff between troll and vulpera is ENORMOUS, what the actual fuck.
A lot of these sims default to long fight times (this one was 5 minute duration)
The differences can be more dramatic in short encounters.
Im surprised that void elf isnt top pick for casters! Seems like their racials with the no push back would help them a lot, no?
My shadow priest is a troll I just like stacking power infusion and the haste racial together it feels amazing 😂
I played only a Human Warlock and a Orc Warlock
I'm sticking to my Vulpera MW and Nightborne WW. And panda mage and shaman. There.
I wish you put the list as a pinned post or in the description and if it was split into A and H for each class 😉
nothing beats a tauren rogue.
Are we gonna talk about Priest being labeled "Healer" in the timestamp? lul
in season 3 of DF i pushed to 26 keys as a nightborne mage, so to me at the very least, the 0.5% damage increase is miniscule (although warranted!), but I prefer to have class fantasy XD
And here I just worry if the character will look good in armor and I like the Lore/theme of it.
