I used the #1 mix to remove a big old ink stain, it removed 90% of the stain wich is remarklable itself! I rinsed the mix and applied sanitizer to the rest of the stain , the ink stain is completely gone! Great tips, thank you!
My mom just stained her new dress with a blue ink pen and we immediate searched YT for how to remove it. Glad we watched your video first. We used the hairspray and it came off immediately! We were amazed with the results. Thank you for your video 🖤
I was so excited to see you use a can of hairspray. The hairspray is the best one that you will find. That's from 40 years of being in the restaurant business and waitresses use the hairspray so it does not ruin the uniform tops but does remove the ink stains from their uniforms so most of them back in the day used aqua net I'm sure you're familiar with aquanet
Tried option one to remove black gel pen ink (got tossed in the washer) using white toothpaste and it works! Didn’t even need to dab away, just placed directly in the washer.
Ink removal method one is incredible!! It worked even better when I toothbrush scrubbed with a towel underneath. The ink transferred onto the toweling.
Thank you for the video. In my case, I just used a combination of hair spray first, I did let it seat there for about 15 minutes and then I used the mixture of laundry soap, baking soda, lemon and toothpaste, scrub the stains by hand rinsing in between scrubbing with hot water and the stains were gone.! Almost like magic. I would just recommend using gloves if you decide to scrub by hand to avoid damaging the fabric with the toothbrush and your hands.
Alcohol is an amazing solvent, it's actually one of the ingredients in ballpoint ink itself, used as a carrier solvent so the ink can be smoothly applied and dry quickly. I was able to clear my ink stain in the past with just 99% isopropyl alcohol, but I always have that on hand and I wasn't in a pinch. Had to soak the stain for a bit in the alcohol so that it would lift, and then again to get the remainders . Thanks for testing out these other methods! Would've never thought to try toothpaste and lemon mix, but that also worked so well!
OMG! You're an absolute life saver. Our dog got ahold of a black pen and chewed it up on our new $1,500 sofa. The hand sanitizer trick turned out to be a godsend and took out about 99% of the stains. Only two small dots wouldn't come up. THANK YOU!!!
I just had black ink get all over my new white shirt. I used hand sanitizer (I was at work) as a pre-treater, washed it when I got home with laundry soap and an oxy powder from DT that I dissolved in hot water before putting it in the washer. Most of it came out, but there was a bit left on the shirt. So, while it was still wet, I put some laundry detergent directly on it and went town, scrubbing it. The ink disappeared! I washed it again since it had laundry detergent on it and it came out perfectly.
I tried the first one guys and it works...but one advice ..u better use a white toothpaste not a colourful one cauz it's gonna take more time to remove the colour from ur clothes...i'm saying that cauz i used a green toothpaste in that mix and put it on my white T-shirt and it took me some extra time to remove it
I had treated myself to a luxurious business jacket for work. First day of wearing the new polyester, I came home to discover blue ballpen ink all over the front! Heartbroken, I took it to the dry cleaners and left it there for a year! They had called to tell me there was no way to get that out without the ink spreading and I couldn't bear to look at it. A year later (today), I finally decided to face it and picked the jacket up from the cleaners. Long story short, within 5 minutes of getting home and finding your video on RUclips, my jacket is 80% BETTER. Mind blown! I am still working on it, feeling pretty confident this is the fix. But had to stop for a moment to THANK YOU!!!! A year and 5 minutes later...and I have my new jacket back!
I didn’t have hand sanitizer or hairspray, but I had vodka!🤣 The vodka worked great. I did scrub a bit with the cotton ball. I had my finger behind because it was a small stain in a pocket, and I was afraid to place it on my countertop. It bled through and stained my finger but regular bar soap removed that.
I used LA's Totally Awesome, which I bought at the dollar store. It got the big ballpoint ink stain out of my nursing scrub top. I sprayed it on then rinsed it out with warm water. 👌💖
Got my tank top stained while playing around with a ballpoint pen in the middle of the night this was a life saver i hope it comes out it was a rlly nice tank top too
Thanks so much! You saved my sofa that had a big ink spot. I used the hand sanitizer since it was readily available. After I laundered it the spot came out! 💕
Thank you for sharing. It helps people that don’t know. I’m pretty good getting any stain out. Even the yellow on antique vintage clothing. My son just got a big glob of ink on his cream pants and I used hairsprays first and added 91% rubbing alcohol and the oxy powder and the spray awesome used my nozzle to get it in good but some fabric ms you can’t rub that hard.. but a few ideas to share..😊
The first one worked in seconds! I made the mixture without the tooth paste and just added the toothpaste directly onto the shirt! After scrubbing I rinsed with water and it was completely gone!! ❤ 10/10 recommend!
I’m not a cleaning expert. However, I think that if you were to place a non import fabric or paper towels under the stained item, the ink would likely come out better. Allowing the ink to transfer out of the fabric, as opposed to trying to lift it with a cotton ball. The ink appears to tend to spread easily.
Hair spray usually works very well on clothing for ballpoint ink. Spray with hair spray and scrub, then follow up with a hit of Spray N Wash, Zout or similar, and then pop into the washing machine. Usually all traces are gone when it comes out of the wash, but always check before putting it in the dryer--sometimes you might need to do a second application and wash cycle.
I didn’t have hairspray or hand sanitizer because that stuffs poison but I had 151 proof alcohol. It worked amazing! Thanks.I had a stain in my bathroom sink as well and borax and 151proof alcohol got it out.
Literally bought a white shirt, wore it a day, fell asleep doing my corsswords, got ink everywhere, so thank you I will try these out and see if I can get my ink out. So bummed I can never wear white cause i always get them dirty lol
The first one was my choice. It removed it completely. There was residue with the others. Number 1 was the only one that removed it completely in one go. I don’t want to take so long to remove the stain.
Had a horrible migraine and slept off on a pen. Whole thing leaked on my favourite bedsheet 😢. Will try getting it out tomorrow and will update this comment afterwards
The cap came off permanent marker in the side pocket of my work pants and I didn't know. So the sanitizer trick is what finally got it all out. I soaked it in the hand sanitizer and let it sit for 15 mins with a paper towel underneath, I already noticed so much of it coming out. Then tossed it alone in the wash with a quick spray of Shout and on the Hot setting. I'm letting it air dry but it looks like most of it came out. Thanks!
Regarding, stain samples 1-5, stain #1 what stain, that mix looked like it worked. Have you tried tooth paste (tooth plain, whitener) on white sneakers - dark/black scruff marks?
I had a pen in my fabrick pants and the stain wont go off, there was alot of pen showing outaide the pocket People can spot it quickly and idk how to get rid of it, i have given up, the oen stayed for 3 months now, can i still get rid of it?? If yes, how?
My mom would spray her uniform pockets with hairspray and launder it and and all the pet marks would come out of her uniforms and then when it got passed down to me that's what I used when I was a waitress
I've used a aquanet for years now to get ink out. It can't be the good stuff, cheap works better for this! Thanks Andrea for trying out these great ideas for us!
Did the Hairspray trick on a red shirt with black ink and a completely removed the stain without scrubbing. I just did a few applications with blotting and then washing.

What is the blue water?
How old was the stain?
won't it get bleached?

Dawn dish detergent, hydrogen peroxide with baking soda will never ever disappoint to getting out ink or oil! ❤❤❤
Even if it’s been 5 days? Red pen? I tried her #1 formula and it didn’t work

I used hand sanitizer and it took out quite a bit of ink.I used some WD-40 on my vinyl couch. IT TOOK ALL THE INK OUT.
It Works...... Removes Ink Pen marks on clothing very fast. FYI> If you do not have cotton balls, folded tissue works well. Thanks.

On more soft shell material with the hairspray you can scrub a bit harder and it seems to have worked a treat thank you

Awesome is my favorite i have learned ot takes out all stains pen too but not ink joy pens. I have even soaks old shoes in it they come out brans new
Lighter fluid gets out the old ballpoint pen inks. You just have to use Dawn dishwashing detergent on it after to get the oils out of the material
I'm still impressed with number one even though you had to scrub it.

1st one amazingly worked.. I couldn't find the where was the stain.. but it didn't work for old ink stains....

Your #1 worked great, but I was surprised it didn't take out the brown stain to the left of the Ink spot as well.

I didn’t do any mixing. I got ink on my cotton dress and use some Awesome Orange from the Dollar Store and took ink right out!!
That is awesome!

You are welcome!
Will this remove stamp ink marks? I have an outfit that has these stamp marks ( used for stiching purposes by hand sewers) any tips
So I will be trying some hair spray, thank you. #1 is also not bad
I recommend dove soap in any kind of stain or any soap it's work 100%.
Number one is the best any way thanks 👍👍
Luv luv luv this little experiment!
Rubbing alcohol straight out of bottle does the trick. You had LOTS of ink. Usually ink is on men's shirt pockets. Yes?
Yes you are right, I have excellent results on white silks... I make sure I put tissue bellow the stain to absorb it before I apply the alcohol.
I had a pen in my fabrick pants and the stain wont go off, there was alot of pen showing outaide the pocket
People can spot it quickly and idk how to get rid of it, i have given up, the oen stayed for 3 months now, can i still get rid of it?? If yes, how?

I will use number 1👌🏻
Peroxide at work worked at a hospital and peroxide works wonderful
1ST REMEDY IS THE BEST OF BEST.... THANK YOU.. :)
That’s my problem always in my son’s pants thanks for sharing
I used these instructions regarding ink from fabric ( my favorite fabric top) Thank you so much all the ink stains went away.
You are so welcome!
Thanks, it works! 🤗💞
Does this work with all ink or just pens cuz I have print shop ink on my clothes that’s a lot stronger than pen ink
Awesome 🔥
Will this process work on colored clothes
Did the Hairspray trick on a red shirt with black ink and a completely removed the stain without scrubbing. I just did a few applications with blotting and then washing.
What sort of hairspray?
I tried the first one. It took out some of the stain... Hand sanitizer had the best result
Thanks a lot 😍
What about if you’ve already washed your shirt a 100x will it still work?
Pro tip. Put a paper towel underneath your fabric when bleeding a stain to prevent spreading or staining underneath
what is the alternative thing for paper tower?
@@tikoyalba7517 another piece of cloth would be fine. Like a rag. Or a piece of wood. Anything absorbent really. It's just paper towels work best
Thank you so much

Why not use the hairspray on your counter stain?
Thanks for this
Thank you
The first mixture with lemon, toothpaste, baking soda, detergent was awesome, it took several ink stains out of my velour top, thanks!❤
Thanks for sharing!!
Does this work for coloured clothing?
Bleach on the counter top…also if it was a shirt you would have a new stain. Always put protection in between.
What type of Hair spray is that?
Great video thanks for sharing
I just used hairspray on an ink stain on my coat. It's completely gone!
Would the purell work if I dried the clothes already?
Yes 👍
Magic eraser for countertop even works on sharpie
I have an old eyeliner ink stain on my new shirt, I literally tried everything. Even the above methods. Its still not coming off…
I used hair spray on my daughter's Sunday dress when she got a hold of an ink pen AND the ink disappeared!! This was in 1976.
I was so happy to see the video. Hubby stains his shirts and table cloths.
Always put a clean rag under the fabric so the stain has somewhere to go. Just learned that
Thank you so much it worked :)
You're welcome!
Wouldnt polish remover work?
I just find out best ink remover is Carborator cleaner. It just melt away ink stain.
Thanks!
What about colored fabrics in hairspray its effective?
Thank you!!!!!!! It Worked ......
Bleach and dish liquid will remove stain from counter top
Don't mix bleach with any cleaners that contain ammonia or other additives that may interact with bleach.
Works perfectly for me. Thank you!
What is that blue thing
what was the first ingredient? I can't get it.
Just use good old fashion hand sanitizer. Works every time.
I believe if only using baking soda and lemon juice would work.
Straight alcohol will get the counter stain out
Just rubbing alcohol with a cotton ball did it for me

try my strategy:
1: buy ink
2: cover the whole shirt and make it look evened
3: enjoy ur blue shirt, who doesnt like the color blue?
