- We painted the truck in a previous video, but never were able to paint the wheels. They were rusty and dingy and really needed a makeover. In this video, Anna helps jack up the truck, remove the wheels, paint the wheels and grill, and help all along the way.
We also throw some new mirrors and decals on the truck.

This is so awesome! I always wished my dad did this kind of stuff with me. I recently bought a 1986 Ford Bronco as my first car and have had so much fun restoring it. I've seen a few of your videos of you restoring this F150 and it has made me realize how much easier it is than I originally thought to do the work on my own.
wire wheel also works great for cleaning up wheels. TRUCK LOOKS GREAT also ; you should have a fan shroud on that beautiful old truck
That is a great first vehicle for a young lady. One insurance is lower because of the number of passengers that fit in the truck. Two, this would likely get less damage in an accident than a car. Three, your daughter would likely have less chance for injury in the truck.
Most important, it looks good.
What you work on this have inspired me to work back on my 95 ford e250.

Always go back and check the torque on lug nuts after installing. Never trust your impact to tighten them properly.

I actually thought that FORDS got too complicated and stuffed with unnecessary stuff after the 70s, but I was wrong.
Center caps on first then the rims then torque wrench

Take the bottom off of an old swivel rocker. Place the wheel on it and spin as you paint it will save you 40 trips around the wheels.
Good job but it helps to clean and paint the back side of rim so dirt doesn't fling out to the painted side.learning do it yourself maintenance price less.everyone all ready commented on center caps.

I saw where Derek Bieri on VICE GRIP GARAGE, before head would inflate the tire or bead it, he used garbage bags to mask the tires when painting the wheel rims. Obviously, he'd inflate and bead the tire flush to the rims afterwards. It's a cool and cheap technique.
No taping needed. In your instance for this episode you would have to deflate the tires to get them below the rim to stretch the garbage bags around.
Sounds like a good trick. Would have been easier I think.
When you put the wheels on the blue f150 the center caps on the rear wheels go on first behind the wheel....not on the outside
And belt needs to be tightened
Where did you purchase the headlights?
I typed in "5x7 headlights circle" in google and some popped up by TrueMod. I also found some by Loyo. There are a few vids on YT with them installed in YJs and Cherokees.
Add beauty rings
You should have had two of each emblem so both sides matched.
Mine have the 4.9
Impack wrenches don't always get the lug nuts tight enough you may want to check the torque on them
i kinda like the headlights and kinda dont lol cant make up my mind on them
