I have an 18ft trailer, but instead of buying 18ft long boards I split it up, 12ft and 6ft. Also, I tried to coat the decking with an oil / diesel mix.
Oil Change on my Diesel SuperDuty 6.0 Powerstroke
Просмотров 3,3 тыс.Месяц назад
In this video, I’ll be doing something rather mundane for most of you, changing the oil on a 2003 Ford Super Duty with the 6.0L Powerstroke Diesel engine. Instead of using the traditional Motorcraft oil, we’re upgrading to a high-performance synthetic oil. Good idea or not? #FordSuperDuty #PowerstrokeDiesel #DIYTruckMaintenance #SyntheticOilUpgrade #6Point0Powerstroke

Unleash the Beast: Raptor Truck Bed Liner!
You have done a awsome job on bring that truck back to life i own a 1995 f150 as a daily driver ive been slowly restoring might need a fan belt fix that squaling sound
We do this where I'm from a lot, even my grandma does this on her roof on her own
You did a awesome job on that truck and also a new subscriber here 👍👍
Great job
Unfortunately the silicone tubs are currently around $350 per 5 gal. Possibly around 18<20 tubs I would estimate this roof for 2 coats
oh yea T6 all the way.
my 96 did this
😳 why doesnt this seem right? Coating a flat roof i understand but tiled?
Controversy? Rotella T6 has been the go to diesel oil for like 15+ yrs. Available everywhere, pretty cheap, and pretty good quality. Only thing I would change would be a Purolator Boss oil filter. Normally they are relatively expensive, but they are going to be less than that Motorcraft and perform substantially better.
could i get a link for that seat cover perchance
Chain needs to be tighter
Please tighten up the chain...it's really sagging. Thanks!
mobil delvac 15/40 synthetic blend
72 horse power, holy crap!
He meant to say 71 cc
Rotella is a great oil. Every 5,000 miles motorcraft filter only. Good fuel additive to keep injectors clean. No oil additive is necessary with good oil
I'm the same way with my kid's... LIKE: Hold up let me get that! Let me do it, you're gonna end up stripping the screw LOL Looking good! Got a Chevy engine in a ford truck? 5.0 that's what I'm talkin about... It'll last forever now... Looking good, nice lil get around for her.
R.I.P washer and O-ring for the fuel mixture screw
Ran T6 0w40 for years and then tried Delvac 0w40 and the engine prefers the Delvac so will run that for now on. Have always used Archoil ar9100 at 16oz+13.5 litres of oil and changes every 8000kms with OEM filters.
Appreciate you making and sharing this video as I’ve been contemplating how to get this done on my E53. Now I can do actually do it.
hey could you please do a video seeking the cables on the motor? all of the cables coming out of the fusebox of my truck are cutted. it would help me a lot if you show me where i should connect them
on your engine it should be on the passenger side between the 2 nd and 3 rd spot of the manifold is where it runs through a metal tube then down into the oilpan
That is not whitewashing.
around the shift knobs hit the flooring with a heat gun to work out the bubbles then trim it up i miss my 84 f250 351 w 4speed the day i brought it home my dad stuck his foot through the bed of the truck so i picked up a bed for 200 bucks swap it myself i bet if you could find that bed now it be 700 to 1000 now
Passengers did of hood can be fixed with a 2X4 and a 3 pound sledge. Put a Terry cloth towel down 1st then take your time when straightening. White lithium grease on hood hinges so not to re-bend it. Great job, if you make it too nice you won’t want to use it.
You chicken is trying to jump on the BBQ grill
I would have never left those electric connections in the wall, not only dangerous ( shower on other side of wall) could cause a fire. It’s against code.
Great job mate
Distributor cables 😂😂😂
Put gutters on your roof if you are so concerned about maintenance.
You’re just doing a whitewash job. No, seriously it looks like a great idea. Of course not for everyone. My neighbors would have me run out of town if I did this.
Just brought a 06 power stroke.oil bone dry what should I add they say 18on
What kind of paint did you used for the interior parts did it lasted?
I live with a lot of small leaks. Check levels regularly. I heated the oil to soften the seal then lightly put a hose clamp around it as it cooled
Happy ending, no leaks.
Next time, let her do it. If she makes a mistake, all well. How is she supposed to learn if you just do it?
This is painful to watch.
7 mins in and i left
Have you not heard of neutral?
congrats bro good job.
burning diesel for warmth just seems insane.
Ok, what's better in your opinion? Kerosene, White Gas, Alcohol, Natural gas, Propane, wood? It's all combustible fuel sources. None of them are more dangerous than the other. These little diesel heaters are some of the most environmentally friendly ones, being as efficient as they are so... I'm wondering where your basis for insanity comes from.
@@MandrakeDCR I don't care about danger and I definitely don't care about the environment. Diesel is just really expensive. I mostly use wood heat.
@@AltereggoLol1 The amount of diesel it uses is very low, like 15 cents per hour. By using wood, assuming you get your own and you're only using the extra fuel it takes to go harvest it, then you're going to get down around 5 cents or so, depending on how much you can carry at one time without wasting the fuel to drive and make the special stop for it. If you were to buy your wood at the gas station you would be paying more than you would for diesel by a long shot - so I know you don't mean that! :)
These are just my thoughts after owning 2 of these, I like it because of the case it's in but when it comes to service it seems like it takes more to take apart than the usual ones you see but on one I knew the heater plug had gone down and I thought I'm going to have to take the whole thing to bits for just that, but open the side and remove the 2 top screws holding it to the front and back, the plastic has enough flex in it to separate up over also pushing the sides out and squeeze the top off the chamber part out so you can work on it without removing it, to be honest, I thought it would break but I was in a hurry and didn't care but was presently surprised I found the hack and it worked on both I have it's your own decision to do but works for me
They have a Version 2 of this same heater. It is much better. The heater you have in unstable and wobbly once full of diesel. This is not the heater to get. Get the 2nd Gen.
Really cool video man. I just got a F150 from 1987 and I also want to do a full interior restauration.
Thats the wrong year tailgate for that truck
Thanks for your time making this video.
15w40 Kirkland at Costco!
OMG do not mix ladders and trees people, neck breakers! This guy is agile as a leopard it looks so easy in that top step sawing limbs hitting ladder he’s bad to the bone I ain’t doing it , just saying 😊
Is there an outdoor wall paint that is thermally reflective on the market?
With grain cuts are best done with a different chain. Also often requires in certain woods more than 72 cc. Good luck and thank you.
I have a NeoTex and it does very well. You might consider fuel to oil ratio. I run 25:1 for several hours and then switch to 50:1. Much more power and better idle. Good Luck and thank you for your time.
Say, did you do the seat cover yourself? Darn good job I say
