    I have used this product. 1. make sure the roof is clean first. 2. make sure to mix the product well. 3. It will not stop all leaks. 4. It will reflect a lot of heat from the sun. Very important when it is 115 degrees in Arizona. 5. It does last a long time. Must be pressure washed before recoating years later.

    .............................bad decision??................In 2018 I did the same thing on a then 28 year old vacation mobile home in AZ thinking the same thing and looking back it seems the roof could not breath and we ended up over time with a mold smell inside and had no clue where it was coming from ..................and since the 30 year asphalt roof was 32 years old we then decided to have the roof replaced.................well it was found that all the plywood under the roof was wet and damaged and had to be stripped off and new plywood installed on the whole roof and then new asphalt shingles.................................

    I have to imagine tearing this off is going to be a complete son of a bitch most likely for the next million years you’re gonna have to put coats of this stuff on lol and it will probably work the gorilla glue sealant spray works fantastic. I fixed my roof that shit works amazing I highly recommend itway better than the flexseal the flex has an inferior nozzle and it leaks out when you spray it

  • @ElijahPerry-bp5cw
    @ElijahPerry-bp5cw 8 дней назад

    Looks like you did a good job doing it. You would have come out better to hire an experienced roofer to repair the leaks though. For what it costs to do what you did the right way, you could have had a new roof installed twice. I would have used a spray rig and put 2 coats of gripper on it before using a latex product on oil. Then I would have sprayed the first coat of sealant. You probably could have gotten away with kilz as primer but I mean Sherwin Williams has a product that lasts 50 years for the same price you payed for that. I'm afraid that you got yourself into a big mess. Now you're stuck with an inferior product for the life of the roof. It baffles me to watch this type of stuff on RUclips. Using a stepladder like that will get you fired on the spot. You're lucky that you didn't wind up in the ER. If I had done it, you'd have product guarentees from both PPG and SW. What you have instead is a disaster waiting to happen at your own expense.

    ya you can take the motor mounts or the black bottom motor plate and use straps(the ones you use to tighten stuff on your truck) to keep the motor tight from moving on a table, i usually like putting nylon rope down a piston but some say dont do that i do it everytime(others will advice taking off the intake and putting a rag on one side, but then youll find those bolts are seized sometimes and snapping one is detrimental) , also don't over tighten the puller or youll mess the stator coils up; you can get cheap knock off's but sometimes they dont last. once the motors on the bench with straps take a breaker bar with a helper pipe and youll get it.

    • @ac9928
      @ac9928 11 дней назад

      oh you can also test the stator with the wires that come up from the mag side there will be information online with the ohmage etc. theyre next to where you put your sparkplugs when you want to ground the sparkplugs on the water

    I hope you see this comment on your older video. I love the 6.0 keep an eye on those injectors and that oil cooler. Also invest in a set of JIS screwdrivers from Amazon. No longer will you strip a JIS screw on a Japanese engine with a Philips head screwdriver. You can always tell that it’s a JIS screw by the little dot on the screw. We’re also waiting on a follow up video on that jet ski from 6 months back. Learning a lot from you! Edit: JIS stands for Japanese industrial standard, it’s there version of the Phillips head.

    I just converted my jet ski to premix oil and bypassed the oil pump, this is the number one cause of engine failures because either the pump goes bad or the tubing gets brittle and the engine doesn't get the lubrication and then "no bueno" go premix is the way to go.

    How hard 🤔 Well I pulled a 3 speed and replaced a clutch on 1980 F100 from the back of a 302 when I was 16 in 1990. No jack, no jack stands and a few hand tools my dad had. Never done it before just dove in. Pretty much just crawled under the truck a used my legs and chest to drop the trans and the same to put it back. And no my dad didn’t help. His favorite saying was “what old you do if I wasn’t here?” I wasn’t easy and it was hard work. But I’ll never forget doing it. Just put back the opposite of how you removed it.
