My Internist advice me to have Insulin. Since yr 2000 im Insulin dependent. Im very healthy and happy diabetic patient my Diabetic Educator adjusted my body to Insulin and explain to me everything. I was only surprise why carrots is not allowed to eat for Diabetics in the Phils. I have a Diabetic book fr all kinds of food and carrots is zero carbs..Im also suprise that chicharon is allowed. I learn that fatty foods turn into sugar???. Im 71 yrs old living in Germany. Our staple food here is potatoe its also allowed.

Hi Dr Rojo. I am 70 yr old. and live in Covina, CA i had a stroke in Nov '21 and thing visibly affected is speech, and handwriting. I drive and do other things physically and do my daily routine of 1.5 mi walk and 30 min of workout, including my pushups and lunges, among the other things. I am controlling quite to do more because of my stroke and doing slowly but surely. I am 5'8.5 tall and my weight is 150 lbs. My BMI is normal. I am intentionally having carbo to gain more weight to gain more muscle mass, since I lost some weight after the stroke due to medication and diet. I believe so much of fasting and know the other benefits of it. I am quite disciplined even before the stroke. I will be getting into no carb diet as needed. Firstly because of my health, and physically gain more mass and shape. Now I am preparing to settle in the Phil with 2x - 3x travel back to the US in a year. I like your diet plan and planning to do so when I settle in the Phil. Now could you recommend a cardiologist in Manila who follows and understands the diet plan? My next schedule to do my bloodwork is December but am willing to provide my previous blood work results.

i literally changed my lifestyle after hearing all your videos and advises about LCIF, and its working for me. i lost weight from 60kg to 56 after 3 weeks of praciticing LCIF, my cholesterol was slightly elevated and trigly, but hoping can continue my LCIF longer so i can heal totally from all my unhealthy practices in my diet.
Same experience here. Same base weight, 60kg., now 56 kg. Target is 50kg, my ideal weight. I am amazed with the benefits of LCIF. After many experiments with food supplements, eto lang pala answer sa mga karamdaman. And it is a lot simpler and affordable. Thank you very much Doc!

Ive lost weight doing LCIF/Keto and IF during pandemic but when I started traveling again and the world opened again, Life took over, stress and burnt out from work made me eat sugar and carbs again and now, I am back to the weight where I started. Gandang Gabi po doc. Nag start po ako sa rice last Oct.22 but last Nov. 1 nag cheat at dhl tigkalalag kumain ako ng Suman in ilonggo. And now doc totally no rice na talaga ako at hnd na ako naghahanap pa. So pagbalik ko ng Manila this coming Dec. 15 unang gawin ko magpa total blood count talaga. And I hope mababa na ang HBAIC b4 ako umalis ng Manila my HBAIC is a 6 so nasa boarder line na ako. I hope na baba na ng 6 ang HBAIC ko w/c is nga hnd na sa boarder line pa! At ang Cholesterol ko is in 160 also. Kunting Kimbo nalang 200 na. Kaya noong nakita ko ang mga Vid mo doc I'm so much inspired talaga promise. I'm 71kls na ako but now little bit. Ganun din ako. Suggest ko lang. Fish and chicken breast. Iwas sa fatty meat. Eat in moderation at siyempre exercise kahit lakad for 30 minutes. Good luck.
By the way use Pearl Barley grains it's very high in fiber and very good in decreasing ldl cholesterol , as if a miracle, no need to take medicine coz i experienced. It can also help lower high blood pressure and blood sugar.

i literally changed my lifestyle after hearing all your videos and advises about LCIF, and its working for me. i lost weight from 60kg to 56 after 3 weeks of praciticing LCIF, my cholesterol was slightly elevated and trigly, but hoping can continue my LCIF longer so i can heal totally from all my unhealthy practices in my diet.

Ive lost weight doing LCIF/Keto and IF during pandemic but when I started traveling again and the world opened again, Life took over, stress and burnt out from work made me eat sugar and carbs again and now, I am back to the weight where I started.

Gandang Gabi po doc. Nag start po ako sa rice last Oct.22 but last Nov. 1 nag cheat at dhl tigkalalag kumain ako ng Suman in ilonggo. And now doc totally no rice na talaga ako at hnd na ako naghahanap pa. So pagbalik ko ng Manila this coming Dec. 15 unang gawin ko magpa total blood count talaga. And I hope mababa na ang HBAIC b4 ako umalis ng Manila my HBAIC is a 6 so nasa boarder line na ako. I hope na baba na ng 6 ang HBAIC ko w/c is nga hnd na sa boarder line pa! At ang Cholesterol ko is in 160 also. Kunting Kimbo nalang 200 na. Kaya noong nakita ko ang mga Vid mo doc I'm so much inspired talaga promise. I'm 71kls na ako but now little bit. I am now starting my lowcarb diet, Doc. My blood tests came normal except for my SGPT and SGOT. I now have a fatty liver because i gained 30 kilos in the span of 4 years. I always binged eat, and made my bar exam and review as an excuse. Yes, I finally became a lawyer, but not a healthy one. 😢

Ganun din ako. Suggest ko lang. Fish and chicken breast. Iwas sa fatty meat. Eat in moderation at siyempre exercise kahit lakad for 30 minutes. Good luck.
By the way use Pearl Barley grains it's very high in fiber and very good in decreasing ldl cholesterol , as if a miracle, no need to take medicine coz i experienced. It can also help lower high blood pressure and blood sugar.
I think u really need to control saturated foods coz of high cholesterol.

Nag start na po ako eating no rice. Meron po akong diabetes and fatty liver. Hindi ko ma try ang fasting kasi payat po ako. Thanks for the info about eating low carb.

Hi.Your condition has to be assessed properly. Low-carb and fasting help with healing in general but it should be done the right way especially if one has existing medical conditions.
