Fasting was the only way I lost my excess fats. Im already in my senior years. I go low carb and do Intermittent fasting and one meal a day, i also do 30 mins walking and other. Its exercise everyday, its very effective to maintain healthy body and lifestyle.

I am going to 72 but I am still very active but I notice since I avoid or at least minimize FRUCTOSE. I eat fruits that r not too sweet , avoid fruit juices n smoothies n very careful reading food labels making sure no fructose or corn syrup. Fructose cannot enter our cells unlike glucose so they end up to circulation. Either they r deposited to blood vessels n one type of plaques formation. Only 24 % can be absorbed by d lever n d other rest also ended up as visceral fat. Insulin cannot enter into fat cells so can lead to insulin resistance. Thank. for ur additional info. I love to listen to researchers n scientists n functional physicians whose lectures r based on clinical based evidences.

My mom at age 85 is okay and I'm thankful.. her diet is more on vegies ,seafoods and fruits. She walks a lot. At age 60 ng jogging pa mom ko and very active.. once in a while I give grapeseed capsule as supplement and Ensure Gold. Just like my mom I like vegies too and seafoods and fruit I'm not keen on eating meat very seldom and just a little... Thanks for the info especially about fasting..

Doing research, i found Dr Jason Fung and Dr Berg, and now YOU for an added informative insights My fasting 16hrs and 8 hrs window was successful, and went back to my Doctor, and i received a "very good " remarks. Now, i think i am going to follow your Low carb, to be more healthy. I still eat a little of Low glycemic rice one a day, but limit some meat intake. I am happy to follow your vlog and FB.

Even is the food is delicious if I feel full I stop eating maximum one cup of rice. And here in Jeddah KSA just two times a day to eat just like 12noon to 11:30 am. And sometimes we eat Kubos,which called the bread mga unang panahon. My last weight 2019 is 50kg and now 2022 the same weight 50kg. I do biking, jogging, basic exercise. And swimming every day off.. I am 73 going on 74, and I lead an active life. For two weeks now. I’ve had a no-carb diet consisting of fish, veggies & meat. While it may sound like an overly restrictive diet, I am comfortable with it, and oh, I drink water only. I plan on gradually easing from no-carb into a low-carb regimen in the future.

Dr. Grace, I am Ester Domasian. My problem is inability to sleep well at night. If I take Melatonin 3 mg at 7 pm nagigising ako ng 12 midnight. Di na ako nakakabalik sa tulog. Nagiging high blood tuloy ako at daytime. Pwede ba akong magtakebuli ng another 3 mg ng melatonin kung di na ako makabalik sa tulog after 12 midnight? Please help me. Thank you so much. Wala na akong gaanong joint pain. Edited: Watching from California , USA. I’m 67 at wala pa akong health issues at nagtatrabaho pa. Noon pa ako kumakain ng konting kanin pero completely tinanggal ko na . Pag gutom ako minsan kapirasong tinapay pero ngayon ay saging o mansanas na lang. Pinagdaanan ko rin magkaroon ng kirot sa katawan dahil sa neuropathy dahil sa neck injury na job related. Gumaling ako dahil sa PT at ayaw kong inumin ang pain reliever na prescribed by my doctor. I am going to 72 but I am still very active but I notice since I avoid or at least minimize FRUCTOSE. I eat fruits that r not too sweet , avoid fruit juices n smoothies n very careful reading food labels making sure no fructose or corn syrup. Fructose cannot enter our cells unlike glucose so they end up to circulation. Either they r deposited to blood vessels n one type of plaques formation. Only 24 % can be absorbed by d lever n d other rest also ended up as visceral fat. Insulin cannot enter into fat cells so can lead to insulin resistance. Thank. for ur additional info. I love to listen to researchers n scientists n functional physicians whose lectures r based on clinical based evidences.

Thank you doc, however, I always start the day in thanksgiving prayer for keeping me safe during the night and asking Him for protection and guidance by the Holy Spirit throughout the day... not yoga, but more on quiet peaceful prayer time, not absentmindedly which I could fall into if I'm not focused, I seem to get lost or stressed when remiss in morning prayer...God bless you in what you do 🙏

I am 68yo still working full time and thank God wala pa pong health issue. Every year complete checkup. I still eat rice 3X a day. Ang masasabi ko po is...listen to your body. Ibaiba ang mekanismo ng katawan naten. Alamin sa sarili kung ano gusto ng katawan naten. Rule of thumb ko is kapag nakaramdam ako ng full na stomach ko I stop. Kapag nagutom kumain. I love fruits vegetables konte karne etc. I even ask myself kung ano gusto ko. Our body talks. Our body hesls itself. My body needs rice..haha. Nung tinigil ko rice nagkasakit ako. Whatever your body tells you...LISTEN to your body. Ibaiba po ang mekanismo ng bawat katawan naten.

My mom at age 85 is okay and I'm thankful.. her diet is more on vegies ,seafoods and fruits. She walks a lot. At age 60 ng jogging pa mom ko and very active.. once in a while I give grapeseed capsule as supplement and Ensure Gold. Just like my mom I like vegies too and seafoods and fruit I'm not keen on eating meat very seldom and just a little... Thanks for the info especially about fasting..

Doing research, i found Dr Jason Fung and Dr Berg, and now YOU for an added informative insights My fasting 16hrs and 8 hrs window was successful, and went back to my Doctor, and i received a "very good " remarks. Here is my story. I eating small but I feel full just one cup of rice since in the beginning. Even is the food is delicious if I feel full I stop eating maximum one cup of rice. And here in Jeddah KSA just two times a day to eat just like 12noon to 11:30 am.
And sometimes we eat Kubos,which called the bread mga unang panahon.
My last weight 2019 is 50kg and now 2022 the same weight 50kg.
I do biking, jogging, basic exercise. And swimming every day off.. Thankyou Doc.

I am 73 going on 74, and I lead an active life. For two weeks now. I’ve had a no-carb diet consisting of fish, veggies & meat. While it may sound like an overly restrictive diet, I am comfortable with it, and oh, I drink water only. I plan on gradually easing from no-carb into a low-carb regimen in the future.

Pag gutom ako minsan kapirasong tinapay pero ngayon ay saging o mansanas na lang. Pinagdaanan ko rin magkaroon ng kirot sa katawan dahil sa neuropathy dahil sa neck injury na job related. Gumaling ako dahil sa PT at ayaw kong inumin ang pain reliever na prescribed by my doctor. Now I am still working. Gusto ko ng fasting . Maganda ang epekto nito sa akin. Thank you , Doc Grace.
