@@R0bertCcGoG used to do exactly that but because only Xbox and Epic are maintained by the developer's the community has to maintain the Steam, Rockstar, Origin\EA, PlayStation, and Ubisoft integration so API updates breaks this until the community can figure out how to fix it months later and sadly all community integrations are currently broken
Seeing 'Age of Mythology' bing brought to Xbox is like a dream come true. TBH, I would love to see Lionhead Studio's 'Black & White' and 'Black & White 2' released on the Xbox. I loved both of those games and would relish the opportunity to play them again.
I still have Black & White 2, and it's still good, but the HUD doesn't love modern resolutions. 😂

@@kenobanion6493 I honestly cannot remember if I got a NoCD EXE many years ago, as I remember it did come on disk, but I don't need them anymore. I believe I did, because I used to do that, as many gamers used to. It prevented having to swap disks, and the game in question would load much faster. I can say that it is also movable, because I occasionally move it on to an active partition to play, and then move the installation folder to my NAS.
Way I see it. Putting some games on other consoles will help keep gamepass subscription prices the same

But the PCH-1000 & 1100 models of the ps VITA showed massive failure & success. if they stick to what we the people want back they have a chance of potentially having a better market share of handhelds in the market then xbox. Only handheld experience Microsoft holds is the previous generations of Microsoft phones.
It would be great if a Xbox handheld came out in the next couple of years.

On the flip side, I want a truly portable handheld. I like my Vita while I'm not at home, but my Steam Deck is too much of a commitment to always have on me, versus something pocket sized.

It would give xbox users more options than just the microsoft store to buy games. There would definitely be a lot of stuff to iron out to make it work but its a cool idea nonetheless.
there are quite a few pc only games that I would like to play. some of them that are or were supposed to come to console are also taking way to long. I just really don't want to buy a PC for these games though since I have plenty to play on my consoles that I just haven't felt like starting since I am not as much into gaming like I used to be.

I’m hoping the next generation will be a console/mobile docking station similar to the switch only for Xbox and it’ll have connectability to Wi-Fi and you can play your game pass subscription games off it, that would be cool.

If all Xbox games will be playable on pc and PlayStation, but on the other hand PlayStation has true exclusives, why buy a Xbox in the first place if you get more games owning a PlayStation? Can be a buying decision. Also competition leads to more and better games for the consumers.

So it's hands down better for gaming overall in terms of AAA risk and profits to get the games everywhere, and if you have an Xbox then game pass can save you a ton of money on a single player game like Indiana Jones. You pay for one month for that game alone you've saved a ton of money compared to if it was sold on PlayStation, unless you can settle for a cloud version at 1080p, or use GEForce Now in conjunction for a little bit extra.
There’s no reason for a console to exist without exclusives. Consoles are budget gaming pc’s, but with games you can only play on that platform. It’s very important that these budget pc’s exist for the consumer’s benefit, but they can’t exist if there’s no reason to buy them.
They will announce it on Feb 2025 with all news technology or maybe they are just waiting for exclusive components… imo

Yea that aint happening for a very long time, VR is flat lining right now while handhelds are still growing like crazy. VR is fun but its still extremely young and I dont see MS putting much into it until it really gets a hold on the market

Needs a vr or quest-xbox colab because after getting a psvr2 I haven't touched my s/x for past 2 weeks. There's alot xbox exclusive games that'll look so good on vr. Hopefully when xbox introduces a new gen console , vr will be considered.
Can we optimize games on Series X ? Stalker Trilogy crashes and progression bugs. Trail Out crashes ! Fossil Fuel hard crashes the X. Sker Ritual crashes. Aliens Dark Decent crashes and progression broken. Phantom Fury crashes and performance issues.
I just used Xbox Cloud Gaming for the first time the other day, after having Game Pass Ultimate for a couple years and never touching it. It was basically unusable. Galaxy S24 Ultra, trying to play Gears Tactics (so it's just a turn-based game). On cellular it disconnected, which was just down to bad signal, but even on the wifi network I was on (which was probably just "ok" speed), it was a laggy, stuttery mess. It's probably OK on really good wifi, but that majorly shrinks the use case.
For me it's ok if franchises are on sale on PS5 as long as they are on the Game Pass Eco system, in the long run more people will see the value of Game Pass

I think it's too early to judge. I'm pretty sure Medieval Doom was under development when MS took over, so there was already development time put into a PS version.

For me I’m quite happy with all the Xbox series consoles but I really think Xbox should do some improvements over the controllers included. I think they r a comfortable controller and they work well but I believe they should be equipped with Hall effect joysticks so that way drift won’t b a common issue anymore, it wouldn’t b an expensive upgrade for Xbox to manufacture all controllers with them

I switched from Xbox series x to PS5 and thst meant I had to buy load of games again (I already owned on my Xbox digital library), but because ps5 had so much going for it and game it was worth the switch and investment

Why do people care about platform exclusives? Apart from those that don’t have both consoles or don’t have Xbox, why does it matter if it also goes to PlayStation? You still get to play either way.

love my first ever xbox console series x & they give us the choice to play there games gamepass physically & digital games where they need to improve is 60fps on series x console screw series s holding it back enforce 60 by your first party studio & that showcase was a 9 best showcase in years & not a fan them 2 new digital console but the galaxy black series x fire & 2tb storage

Way to early for the handheld. Battery life on the ASUS ROG Ally, ROG Ally X, the Steam Deck, and the Lenovo Legion Go are terrible.
Until we can get 8 to 10 hours at high settings of battery life on a handheld, Xbox should wait. We need greater power efficiencies, better batteries, superfast charging, terabytes of storage, and at least a 1080p display.
I do want a handheld but I want it done right. The Switch gets it mostly right. There is a ton of room for improvement.
They really havent switched anyhting up with exclusives tho, I mean all new IPs have been exclusive, I mean I always figured a good chunk of Bethesda games would still be multiplat. Everybody just needs a PC. While I appreciate and support X-Box, I will never buy another console. I have my State of the art Rig in my personal setup, and a little bit lesser Rig on my living room TV. I play everything now, Sony and Microsoft. What is a year wait? Nothing.
Can they revive RTS genre? That is the only way we get Starcraft 3 and later competition could give us C&C , Company of Heroes etc. All of that on XBOX/PC would be huge. WARCRAFT 4 HELLO?

There is only one Age of Mythology game. Ok, if you want to be pedantic, there is Age of Mythology DS as well, which is quite a different game, but defenitely no sequel.
Possibly you mistook the Expansion pack as a second game. Also the way you talk about the remake gives me the vibe as if you're not quite that familiar with the game/franchise.
This is one of these instances where I feel youtubers sometimes play up their fandom of certain IP a bit. Don't know if that really is a wider spread phenomenon, or if I just wrongly get the impression that it is.
I get why people in the movie/games industry do it, as they want to ensure fans that the og sources are familiar and respected and new entries in established IP will maintain the spirit, tone and atmosphere of the original. (Where obviously after the fact we mostly see the exact opposite and they only made Star Wars or Lord of the Rings content, because that is what they envision gives them the most reach for their left-wing propaganda). But why would youtube creators do such a thing? Is it a thing of "Oh I'm just such a big nerd like you" that makes them more sympathetic or so? Like the spoken word equivalent to the background shelf filled with obscure video game merch and items?
I completely agree. XCloud, while having arguably the best library, has the worst experience among all streaming platforms, barely years into it's kickstart we have MNK support in 2024 but the stream quality is questionable. The exclusives and multiplatform games are also totally random. It feels like they wanna create a diversion and never to be put in a position they were put in with ABK acquisition. And after having all that power within their library, they seem to be playing very nicely with everyone else. Almost as if they wanna acquire something again. It is really a weird strategy but they are no trillion dollar corpo for nothing. Guess Microsoft knows something we don't. No one is gonna forgive them for the layoffs though. No amount of good games will fix that.
Surely the solution is pretty simple and straight forward and would let everyone know where they stand.
Either all, Xbox or at least all Day One Gamepass releases should have a simple 6 months exclusivity to Xbox/PC. After 6 months get them out to formats.
Ultimately it would be great to have a full cross platform Gamepass subscription.
Imagine being able to play on either PS5 or Series X, whichever offers best graphics and then as part of package on a Switch when you leave the house. Gamepass owners would then get the 6 months exclusivity over others but this would no longer favour Xbox hardware.
Advantage to having X box would be value of Gamepass if it works for you, at least until a cross platform of Gamepass existed.

I agree with you Ray over Phil Spencer I think people would Leave their digital library for good games. but it has to be noticeable and for a good amount of time. Take this Sony and Xbox showcase. do I think Sony will jump over even though Xbox showcase blue there’s out of the water no not this ones. but if they are consistent, and the showcase is pretty much stay the same for the next two or three years yeah I could see a lot of people from Sony turning in there PS5 For credit on a new or used Xbox at GameStop. Like I said, it has to be a big difference and it has to be for some years. But the same thing could happen with Xbox if they start putting out bad games or not many games and Sony starts putting out really good games are putting out a lot of games. So I agree with you, Phil Spencer, I do believe people would leave their old digital library to go with a company that will be putting out a lot more better games in the future.

As much as corporate greed and other things play a role, software/hardware development is simply incredibly complex and costs tons of money for development before you even start pulling money, so its honestly not easy at all. I'm glad that Xbox seems to having a redemption arc.

Phil for some reason really struggles to understand that if everything that should be exclusive to Xbox is available on PlayStation. There’s really no incentive to ever go out and buy an Xbox if you already own a PS5.
