    After delivery, I noticed my hair fall but I remained calm. I took action to to control it. I opted for a wellness-focused approach.
    I prioritized my diet, having nutrient-rich foods, especially those high in Folic Acid and Protein.
    I exercised daily and practiced yoga for stress management.
    I just stayed away from styles that pull on my hair and stopped using heated hair tools to prevent hair stress.
    I even started using LittleExtra's Coconion shampoo and hair oil combined with a wooden neem comb.
    The result was hair fall control and the recovery of my confidence.

      This is my first time using the littleextras kit. A friend suggested it because of my serious hair fall. Although it's too early for a final decision, I can see positive changes with regular application.

    18 months postpartum and my regrowth is finally about 3.5 inches long. This REALLY got me down in the beginning. It was so hard and I had no idea how to style my “new” very thin hair with bald spots around my temples. Now I know why a lot of moms cut their hair after birth.

    This video is so relatable to almost 95% pp moms. I also had major hair loss for few months. But one thing that helped was adding coconut into my diet. And massaging my hair with (warm) almond oil+ castor oil. And egg white masks.

    I'm not a new mom. My baby is 21🤣 and I turned 50 this year. I'm definitely dealing with some hair loss and I don't talk to my Dr about my concerns. I've been taking biotin and collagen for a couple of years and in my opinion it helps to at least slow down the hair loss and I love seeing baby hairs growing in those once sparse places. Thx for making this video, it is probably helpful to alot of women not just new moms.

      No dear.. It's just normal hair cycle.. In pregnancy due to higher estrogen level almost none of your hair sheds.. But after child birth that pending telogen phase of hair cycle takes charge.. Maximum of your hair falls out until 5-6months until your hair cycle (anagen phase) begins again... Unless you are having genetically predisposed to female pattern hair loss

    I have had this. Yes, it is scary. But 3 months after my hair started growing back. I did not do or take anything special. Just lived life as normal. I think worrying about it makes time go slower and hence you feel it is taking longer to come back. But, trust in your body and take care of yourself and as a part of your hair cycle, your hair will come back. I want to loose my pregnancy weight... but I am afraid that it will take nutrients from my body and pause/ slow my hair growth.

I ask to immediately see a different doctor at the same place to get a second opinion. And this was a year and a half after my son was born. For me it was combination between a IUD birth control implants that I got hair loss is a side effect and postpartum hair loss. It was quite scary and I’m still trying to recoup the hair I had before 3 years later. But I’m happy now with what I have

    You popped up in my search - because I’m in my second pregnancy and hair loss is unreal to the point that I had waist length hair and now it’s up to my shoulders and in the front of my head it barely makes it below my brows- it’s real.! So I was looking into Minoxodil and a wig for the meanwhile - perhaps even curing my own hair shorter so it looks less troll. 4 months postpartum and it’s just getting worse… my hair was so much part of who I am- I have lost all confidence and need some back while I pray my hair grows back. So thank you for this video and please can you post the wig company in your vid?

    I have thick, curly hair and didn't think the hair loss was a big deal the first time. The second postpartum hair loss was a little worse, and after the third kid I had an alarming amount coming out every time I washed my hair. Like I joked I could make a wig each time. Finally at 9 months postpartum the hair has stopped falling out and I see some new ones growing in. But I'm not sure my hair will ever be as thick as it was.

    I didn't have that and I had 5 kids and my hair used to be so thick n full, I would put it in a ponytail and grip it to see how much hair I had and my fingers wouldn't touch the tip of my thumb, because my hair was so full n' thick, but I started experiencing hair loss when I turned 30. Took vitamins, drank plenty of water. My hair stayed normal, got scalp Psoriasis, almost went bald, alleviated my scalp Psoriasis so now my hair is slowly but surely coming along. I hope that one day I grip it in a ponytail again and my fingers don't touch my thumb because of how thick 'n full it will be! 🤞😁😁

    I basically developed widow's peak after having my child. I changed my hairstyle to have dramatic, thick bangs to hide the issue. My daughter is 18 months now, and the baby hairs there are maybe 2-3 inches long. I have hairstylists ask me if I had issues with hair loss, and it would come out in handfuls in the shower. It doesn't help that I struggle with low iron, so if I forget to take my supplements it exacerbates the issue.

      GoldenDelicious78 try vitamin D

    • @GoldenDelicious78
      @GoldenDelicious78 5 лет назад

      Bb Oi i have recently checked my D-vitamin level and the answer from the doctor was that it looks fine. Don’t think anything ever can help me. It’s quiet bad now and I always put up my hair in a very thin ponytail as I’m too shamed about my hair. I really feel naked and not so beautiful.

    • @bboi5845
      @bboi5845 5 лет назад

      GoldenDelicious78 it’s okay! I’m sure you are beautiful, if it is really affecting you then wigs are always an option.

    • @GoldenDelicious78
      @GoldenDelicious78 5 лет назад

      Bb Oi i guess that’s the only option I have. But I’m concerned about if it’s too hot to wear, or if I can wear it when exercising as it gets very hot and sweaty.
      And btw thanks for your support. They say I’m beautiful but I just don’t think that myself and that’s something I’ve always struggled with. And the condition of my hair doesn’t help.

    • @bboi5845
      @bboi5845 5 лет назад

      GoldenDelicious78 yeah I get that, I have no personal experience with high quality wigs, only with the lower quality ones(think halloween store)
      I know how hard it can be to feel beautiful when you are so insecure about something but stay strong!

    Interesting topic, my medical assistant has the same problem 6 months after birth and she is taking rogaine and collagens. My advise was the old time treatment for alopecia where we just injected kenalog (a steroid) into the scalp and the results were amazing but I am talking 30 + years ago I THINK it will still work. Just sharing. Enjoy and great content. You see what the lock down and Covid 19 can do . Just running into random channels but as a physician all I can do is give my 2 cents. Be safe.

    I lost hair around my face but then around like 5 1/2 months pp I got it all back really fast. I got my period at 6 months, so I think it was a hormone change. My hair is really curly so they looked crazy but I was just happy to have it back.

    I experienced hair loss with all three of my pregnancies. I would start like clockwork 11 weeks after delivery and by the time my children were a year old I would have all my back. It looks as though you have androgenic alopecia. Not a dr but you might want to see a dermatologist to determine the type of hair loss you're experiencing. Good luck...

    My journey of dealing with my hairlost, is still going through.
    In my first semester of pregnacy, i have a bald top of my back head about size of coin.
    Then i think it just the pregnancy and will disappear after having birth, but i was wrong because
    Even get worse. Until now my baby is 3 and 4 months, im still struggling what to do to prevent this hairlost.
    But i know im not they only one who suffer from this, i guess i have to let it go and enjoy lol.
