INXS are absolutely timeless. This concert took place in 1991 and feels like it was very recent. The music can always be heard, no matter the year, and never feels like it's old. Michael Hutchens is an incredible loss

These guys had a beautiful sound - through and through. Together they were a unique genre. And Michael's voice and charisma. The energy of this band is timeless.

I watched INXS rise up through the ranks of pub rock to huge stadiums. I met them all several times in the early days when they'd join the punters at the bar after their set.

One of my biggest regrets. Despite being a big INXS fan, at that time, had a ticket for this concert but didn't fancy an 'all dayer' concert and didn't like most of the support acts, so I passed 🤦🏻♂

This is one of my favourite songs from INXS. They are an extraordinary group of musicians. It was a sad day for the music industry and the world the day he passed away.

When this song came out I was a teenager. I bought it and played it on repeat, on my parents' record player. Now in my 50's and still listening to it on my Spotify playlist. Great voice, great Aussie band, great loss.

I’ve had the pleasure of seeing INXS Iive in 1986. It was there Listen Like Thieves tour. What a night Jimmy Barnes was their opening act.

Hutchence's stage presence is so incredibly majestic. There's none that match him for it. I genuinely wish I'd been old enough to go to a concert.

It wasn't really her fault. Michael's change started when he was king-hit off his bicycle while going out for pizza in Copenhagen with Helena Christensen. The level of concussion incurred changed him from that point.
@ssvr3dl1n38 his autopsy report mentioned an old TBI, which was believed to be more severe than initially diagnosed.

But if there’s a point when Michael went downhill it’s when he was pushed/punched and hit his head on the road

A little back story to Michael is that he was in a relationship with Bob geldofs ex wife Paula Yates who was a famous TV presenter, she was back in England fighting a custody battle over her kids, she had to delay her return to Australia because she wanted to take the kids back over to see Michael, because of the delay Paula said this will be the death of Michael and within a few days he committed suicide in 1997, Paula herself died of a drug overdose in 2000, she never ever got over Michael, he was a brilliant performer and his biggest fanbase was here in Britain 🇬🇧.
