Saw them a few times in the 90s, and actually met Michael Hutchence a couple of times. I was part of a fan-composed “lighting crew” on stage for a song during the Full Moon Dirty Hearts tour. He was such a shy, sweet man when we chatted backstage, in stark contrast to the audacious swagger he exhibited onstage. On this song in particular, he’s got this way of tricking you into not realizing he’s singing as high as he actually is, especially considering he’s a natural baritone. He hits an A on the “love, baby, love” line at the end, but his voice is so rich and thick it feels like he’s still in his lower register. Bono of U2 said he had one of the best voices he’s ever heard. And if you saw them live, in person, you saw it on full display. Amazing
I had never heard of him before . I had never seen him , but when I saw and heard him ...I'm still shocked about his presence , elegance ,masculinity and potency . What a talented band .
I saw this tour at Madison Square Garden in NYC. I was and still, always and forever will be a huge INXS fan and I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to witness this show. There's a reason this band was known for being one of the greatest live acts of the day. Looking back at this show, I would go as far as to say they were one of the greatest live acts EVER. PLEASE do more from this performance. Suicide Blonde, What You Need, Original Sin, Lately, Bitter Tears. I mean, you really cannot make a poor choice. Heads up, be careful if you choose the live version of Never Tear Us Apart. One of them is an album dub of the live performance. Only one is truly live.
OUTSTANDING CHOICE! The power is just over the top in this incredible live performance. The band, the crowd, the energy. Best I've ever seen. Thank you for covering this, Bisscute! You got it. You understand now. And we miss Michael Hutchence every day.
“This guy has so much presence.” I love it when a younger person recognizes Michael Hutchence for the first time. Dude could read a contact list while sitting on a tricycle and still make women swoon.
When I was in the Navy, our ship made a "port O'call" at Hobart Tasmania. My friends and I went to a bar where INXS was playing. Great music and a great time was had by all.
I have been following INXS since the 1970's, saw them for $2 on the Lawn at the local university in Adelaide . one of their first hit songs was, Just keep walking
I saw these guys over here in NZ in 1986 and they were stunning. I wasn’t the biggest fan before the concert but I’ve been a lifelong fan ever since. And yes, I’m had to pay to see them live 😂
Very bright guy; his interviews are all interesting. He also co-wrote many of their songs. Tragic life-injured by a motorist and ultimately took his own life.
Reading Bono of U2’s biography, he says of his friend Michael Hutchence, he “was a proper rock star”….”he was extremely masculine and extremely feminine.”….”he could live large but travel light”
I went to a concert in 1983 to see Men at Work in a smaller (10,000 seat) venue. We had no idea who "INXS", the opening act, was! They did have a hit already with "Don't Change" but weren't really well known. They totally rocked and, needless to say, it wasn't long before they completely blew up! "Don't Change" would make a great reaction, Biss!
I was there, front right of stage, 10 squashed people back 😅 There were about 6 bands on that day with INXS the main attraction. Blonde was there and she was basically boo’d off stage as she sounded terrible. One of my greatest concert memories. Amazing day and night.
Want to thank you for playing my live recommendation that I made to on your Twitch. I really felt that you would enjoy it. The entire concert is awesome.
I recommended this song to Bisscute because it was early in the set and a lot easier to see the crowd reaction. At the time she had watched Depeche Mode live and wanted to see a live performance with the crowd reaction.
It's amazing that the album that the band toured on for this concert, with THAT crowd at Wembley and tons of sold out shows... THAT album was rejected by the label. The head thought it was crap. lmao shows what top executives know.
My gf loved Suicide Blond as it fit her pretty well. But she really connected with "Never tear us Apart" because of the drama going on at work and everyone in everyone's business about who was dating who. For me, "The Stairs" really connected as I had a relationship like that at one time.
So excited to watch this... I have the VHS of this watched it soooo many times... I already commented about that when you had your very first reaction to INXS, suggesting to do more from this amazing band. Gawd... just look at that crowd... I wish I could go back in time and go to that concert anytime I want. Please do more from this... this concert was 🔥🔥❤🔥🔥🔥
I saw them in Montreal when Michael Hutchence was still alive. An under-rate band, imo. Great songs for live concerts and they all had such great stage-presence, especially Michael.
I was lucky enough to see INXS live in concert....Michael was absolutely Mesmerising, I couldn't take my eyes off him. The band is exemplary...R.I.P Mr Michael Hutchence, there will never be another. He literally was irreplaceable..the band tried with other front men but none could hold a candle to Michael, so they simply stopped trying. Which is a shame for such talented muso's...glad u have a chance to experience to still experience the magic 💜🙌🔥
Hello Bisscute, what an incredible testimony you have presented to us, of this great interpretation of New Sensation. Furthermore, it is impressive that someone with that great voice, that interpretive ability, with that charisma, sensuality and enigmatic personality, ended his days in such a sad way, which began when he hit his head against the pavement in a street fight, causing him a fissure in the skull, among other damages, which apparently was the origin of a change in his personality, which added to his consumption of cocaine, alcohol, heroin and antidepressants, led him to have a progressive deterioration in his behavior, until day of his suicide in his hotel room. The INXS group was no longer the same and ended up dissolving in 2012 after 35 years of activity. Both the great performance and the title of the song itself, New Sensation, undoubtedly portray the hedonistic philosophy of the unforgettable Michael Hutchence, but he and INXS will survive his great work, for the pleasure of us all. I suggest for a future reaction to the group Fleetwood Mac performing Dreams. Greetings and a big hug from Mexico City.
INXS were massively popular. Excellent band seen them live1987, INXS Kick Tour, Pine Knob in Detroit! Perfection! If you love the Sax and horns Biss, you need to listen to Huey Lewis and the News! Super fun band and music! Always love your reactions!
Their song "What You Need" from the same concert is amazing! I really hope you get to it! And yes, I'm also so jealous of the people who got to see them live, I was just a few years too young to travel to the UK for this concert, stupid high school commitments.
I've seen INXS live twice in their heyday. They were amazing. I'm pretty sure they would still be going today if it weren't for Michaels untimely death. RIP
I saw the Listen Like Thieves concert in February of 1986, I think. It was the second concert I ever went to and blew me away. I still at least mouth the words along when I hear one of their bangers, I can't help it.
This concert Is The Best of The band but Biss please, please, please, you must react to The Best songs from this concert: What you need and Suicide Blonde you will love The interaction with The crowd in those songs Love your reaction thanks for this one 👏👏👏👏❤❤❤❤
Awesome reaction! 😍🥰Other great performances from the Wembley 1991 concert (Official Live Videos) are: "What You Need", "Suicide Blonde", "Original Sin", "By My Side".
I'd already heard this song on the radio, but sometime afterward, I was walking through a big shopping mall in Torrance, California and passed a clothing store with a huge wall-sized bank of televisions playing this performance. I remember thinking, "I have to get this for home!!!" The entire show was phenomenal!! Thanks for your reaction Biss!
And you are so freaking funny. "We thought men couldn't multi-task." "Jennifer Lopez wants a thousand euros for a freaking concert? Eff no, Jennifer." The disdain in your voice and face is priceless. Both made me burst out in a literal LOL!
INXS are so good because they honed their craft playing the pub circuit in Australia, paid peanuts, night after night playing in dingy smoke filled pubs with sticky carpets. You didn't survive if you didn't pull the patrons in, and if you were good enough you got a contract to cut an album and your music was promoted. Unfortunately I think today the marketing comes before the music and you end up with a few marketers driving the creativity (or lack of) and everything sounding the same.
You could go to any concert in the 80s and 90s for less than $100. You might not get a ticket if you didn't camp outside the ticket window for a few days but all tickets were same price and the earlier you got in line the better your seat
Saxaphone is great in Eurythmics - Would I lie to you? Live '87 Sydney. Great channel! Also Tina Turner - The Best (Live in Barcelona, 1990). Great live performance.
Recommendation, Suicide Blonde. The star on his (Micheal) back pocket is taken from an INXS logo, the star located between the N and the X. The keyboardist is Andrew Farriss, the primary songwriter. He did most of the music, Michael most of the lyrics. Andrew still writes and performs although mostly Australian Country music.
Saw them on their KICK tour with PiL. INXS and Johnny Rotten all in one night, incredible!!! Listen to "Don't Change", best INXS song. The band also got paid shit for that performance, like 5 grand or something. All their profit came from the live cd and dvd sales.
An amazing live performance recording and INXS at their peak! The boys from Sydney went from pubs to stadiums Check out “what you need” live is great too
The reason we like saxophone so much is that it is the instrument with the closest sound to the human voice. We are just snuggling up to what is familiar. But there is nothing wrong with that.
Bisscute Hi! If you love saxophones, since you've been reacting to Eurythmics, and you liked Dave Stewart guitar playing, I think you gonna like " Lily was here", it's a instrumental piece,a dueto : Stewart in guitar and Candy Dulfer ,a very talented female saxophonist. I don't know if it's material for your channel, but for sure it's for you to enjoy . Don't miss it !! Yes, there's a live version😊
You are right by saying this is legit talent. They are multi talented musicians that wright their own music , play multiple instruments, and they honed their craft doing live performances in Australia's pubs and clubs . The band would still be going strong if not for the untimely death of Michael.
Yeah seeing the joy and pleasure this great performance brought to the crowd makes me ''Kick'' myself that I never got to see INXS in concert and especially this concert.
And Kirk Pengilly is also just a super cool guy, too. Seriously, all the boys from INXS are “nice guys,” but also super cool. Just all-around good guys, from all accounts.
You are talking about Andrew Farriss. From the same concert check out Suicide Blonde. He is playing a rhythm guitar while excellently playing a harmonica. He was one of the main song writers of the band. Only saw them in concert once but they were good. Sad the band broke up after the sudden death of the lead singer Michael Hutchence.
Here in the states from the 1960’s to the 90’s was such a culture of “big” concerts. It’s sorta saddening to watch so many people react who will never get to experience this. I won’t sit here and say “ those were the good days “…. But experiencing those crazy huge concerts were some of the best memories a lot of us have!
Old Wembley was a proper stadium. I've been to the new Wembley 3 times and the acoustics are terrible. The sounds just go flat and fade before they can reach one side to another! A sad age where maximum profit means more than maximum experience!
If you enjoyed their music so much, it would be really interesting seeing you on your seat dancing to their hit "Suicide blond" - wearing a blonde wig, of course! 😅 (in this case, I strongly recommend the official music video)! We all would have a lot of fun! 😅 Another suggestion: "Disappear".
There are so many songs from that concert I could recommend. Probably the best live performance ever recorded. Depends on you're mood. Devil Inside is the last song of the night and man do they go out with a bang. If you you want something more romantic By My Side or The Loved One. You can't go wrong really. Still a massive fan base around the world and especially in South America and Australia of course.
If you love the sax, I recommend you check out any of the GUNSHIP songs featuring Tim Cappello (yes, the sax player from that beach scene in The Lost Boys) like "Dark All Day" or "Monster in Paradise". Synthwave + sax = awesomeness.
Michael Hutchence was a great performer - even in that awful plastic mac thing he's wearing here! 😅And the old Wembley Stadium was a fantastic venue. Clips like this remind you it was like another band member in the best concerts - the way it added so much to the atmosphere! "New Sensation" wasn't one of my favourite InXS songs, but it was probably their most internationally famous and it's a classic which is guaranteed to get people moving.
As impressive as it is that he was playing keys and shaker at the same time; no one can touch the master of musical multi-tasking that is Geddy Lee. Geddy sings lead vocal whilst playing bass, keys, and bass pedals. But you're very correct about the unmitigated charisma that Michael and the rest of the boys in INXS possessed. They truly don't have bands like that anymore. What a massive loss Michael was.
This brings back happy memories, I'm in the crowd there somewhere. I was lucky enough to see them 3 times live but this concert was awesome.
Saw them a few times in the 90s, and actually met Michael Hutchence a couple of times. I was part of a fan-composed “lighting crew” on stage for a song during the Full Moon Dirty Hearts tour. When I was in the Navy, our ship made a "port O'call" at Hobart Tasmania. My friends and I went to a bar where INXS was playing. Great music and a great time was had by all.
Another reason the 1991 crowd was so hyped and into the show...not one of those people had a cell phone in their hand.
Do you have a cell phone?
I have a cell Phone but keeping it in my pocket during concerts. Those guys filming whole concerts are insufferable to me and ruining the atmosphere.
@@ulrikesextro4187 my point was that if teens and young people had cell phones back then they would been recording everything as well.
Será porque en ese año no existían
@Skeptical_Minds
That's pathetic. One of the worst inventions ever created.
This entire concert is flawless start to finish! Feel free to do the entire concert!
I have been following INXS since the 1970's, saw them for $2 on the Lawn at the local university in Adelaide . one of their first hit songs was, Just keep walking
1970s? They were around that long ago? I never realized that, I first heard their music and heard of them in the mid to late '80s, like most people.
Guns In The Sky was the opening track and what away to start the concert. Worth a watch.
I saw these guys over here in NZ in 1986 and they were stunning. I wasn’t the biggest fan before the concert but I’ve been a lifelong fan ever since. And yes, I’m had to pay to see them live 😂
Hutch was one of the ultimate rock frontmen. Charisma, sex appeal and an incredible voice.
Credit to the UK crowd, they really knew how to rock at a show, and upped the energy of the concert by 100%
The man who is multitasking on the keyboard is also the one who wrote most of INXS' music.
Co-authored with Hutchence, the lead singer
I went to a concert in 1983 to see Men at Work in a smaller (10,000 seat) venue. We had no idea who "INXS", the opening act, was! One of my greatest concert memories. Amazing day and night.
Debbie Harry you mean?
Wow you are so lucky!
@@stevenjackson3906 yeah sorry auto correct ... Blondie
Want to thank you for playing my live recommendation that I made to on your Twitch. I really felt that you would enjoy it. The entire concert is awesome.
It' s true but The Best performances of The concert are The songs What you need and Suicide Blonde
Michael (RIP) was considered the sexiest singer at that time. Suicide Blonde antd Disappear: amazing songs !!!!! Greetings from Barcelona.
My gf loved Suicide Blond as it fit her pretty well. But she really connected with "Never tear us Apart" because of the drama going on at work and everyone in everyone's business about who was dating who. For me, "The Stairs" really connected as I had a relationship like that at one time.
After he grew his hair out😂
INXS got its start winning a Battle of the Bands contest in Australia and the rest became rock history!
So excited to watch this... I have the VHS of this watched it soooo many times... I already commented about that when you had your very first reaction to INXS, suggesting to do more from this amazing band. Gawd... just look at that crowd... I wish I could go back in time and go to that concert anytime I want. Please do more from this... this concert was 🔥🔥❤🔥🔥🔥
"The Stairs" from this same concert is outstanding. - well worth a look.
Hi B is cute this band seems awesome live, wish we had bands like this now like people did back then This is as awesome as that Queen live aid show
this concert now in 4K. is one of the best live recordings of a live performance ever
I saw them in Montreal when Michael Hutchence was still alive. An under-rate band, imo. Great songs for live concerts and they all had such great stage-presence, especially Michael.

His presence is epic! Very few can match it! RIP, sir.
Bisscute, This is fantastic! I subscribed because I love it!
I was lucky enough to see them live 3 times. They were awesome. 💥
Great song and great performance of it! Thank you for the review!
One of the best live bands ever! I was lucky enough to see them live 5 times!! Just awesome 👍

Michael totally OWNS that crowd.
This concert Is The Best of The band but Biss please, please, please, you must react to The Best songs from this concert: What you need and Suicide Blonde you will love The interaction with The crowd in those songs
Love your reaction thanks for this one 👏👏👏👏❤❤❤❤
This whole concert is the best thing ever! Thanks for doing it.

Bless you sweetheart, you know more about quality music than 99% of people around your age.
Once art becomes classic, it always remains a classic!
Awesome INXS, thank you Biss.
And you are so freaking funny. "We thought men couldn't multi-task." "Jennifer Lopez wants a thousand euros for a freaking concert? Eff no, Jennifer." The disdain in your voice and face is priceless. Both made me burst out in a literal LOL!

The irony of the line "There's nothing better we could do than live for ever"
"Mystify me" from the same live Concert. INXS. 🇦🇺
Next has to be What You Need! From the same concert at Wembley stadium. Thanks from Doown Under Australia 🦘
Yes! I came here to say the same thing.
Kinda similar song though
More sax and interaction with the crowd ❤
The live version of “What you need” is really good. One of my favorites. Live from Wembly Stadium, 1991 to be more specific.
You could go to any concert in the 80s and 90s for less than $100. You might not get a ticket if you didn't camp outside the ticket window for a few days but all tickets were same price and the earlier you got in line the better your seat
Live Baby Live is the first live album by Australian band INXS de 1991
Saxaphone is great in Eurythmics - Would I lie to you? Live '87 Sydney. Great channel! Also Tina Turner - The Best (Live in Barcelona, 1990). Great live performance.
Brilliant reaction. You need more LIVE INXS.
Best live band I have ever seen.
Bickkie - you need to check out Mystify.
This was such a fun, genuine reaction to watch...
so adorable when you dance.
It helps when You're pretty
No mobile phones, no cameras, just a massive crowd bouncing in an iconic stadium to one of the greatest bands of all time.

‘Good Times’ with Jimmy Barnes. Michael’s power and talent shines!
♥️💯🇦🇺
Old wembley stadium was one of the best places to be for a rock concert. The wembley roar is legendary.
that whole concert is amazing
There is a documentary done on them which is really interesting. And you see the brilliance of Michael and his off stage antics.
One of my favorite groups from the 80's and early 90's. Even though this isn't even my type of music. Saw them 3 times and they never disappointed. sd
INXS were so good
An amazing live performance recording and INXS at their peak! The boys from Sydney went from pubs to stadiums
Check out “what you need” live is great too
😊😊❤❤ I danced to INXS songs quite a bit.
Sooooo glad in was born in 1963 ;), thank you Bisscute, take care, kind regards and love Chris (UK)
You are right by saying this is legit talent. They are multi talented musicians that wright their own music , play multiple instruments, and they honed their craft doing live performances in Australia's pubs and clubs . The band would still be going strong if not for the untimely death of Michael.
Other folks have already said it, but the whole concert is excellent. One of my very favourites on the interwebz
Yeah seeing the joy and pleasure this great performance brought to the crowd makes me ''Kick'' myself that I never got to see INXS in concert and especially this concert.
I'm with you Bisscute...the Sax is soooo cool and sexy, just love it!
And Kirk Pengilly is also just a super cool guy, too. Seriously, all the boys from INXS are “nice guys,” but also super cool. Just all-around good guys, from all accounts.
WHATS YOU NEED-live inxs
I’m somewhere to the left of the stage in the middle of the crowd with 2 of my mates. That whole day was fantastic!
Biss if you listen to the Dave Matthew’s band crush in NYC Central Park you will get violin, sax, flute and great bass. I guarantee you will love it.
I love this song and o love this band
INXS rocked!!!
Old Wembley saw some FANTASTIC shows!
Old Wembley was a proper stadium. I've been to the new Wembley 3 times and the acoustics are terrible. The sounds just go flat and fade before they can reach one side to another! A sad age where maximum profit means more than maximum experience!
One of Australias finest bands
If you enjoyed their music so much, it would be really interesting seeing you on your seat dancing to their hit "Suicide blond" - wearing a blonde wig, of course! 😅 (in this case, I strongly recommend the official music video)! We all would have a lot of fun! 😅
Another suggestion: "Disappear".
Love this band!
Great Song!!!! Great Band!!!! I got this C. D. U get me so Excited!! U got some Great moves!!!
There are so many songs from that concert I could recommend. Probably the best live performance ever recorded. Depends on you're mood. THE BAND was super! They were their own genre. Ah yes LIVE!
Inxs yeah cool
Mystify by INXS the official video
The video is important on this one. ❤😊
Great 80's band !!!
BEST. BAND. EVER!!!!!!
Suicide Blonde! Same concert, EPIC
React please to "Suicide Blond" live in Wembley.
just plug in INXS Live Baby Live in the search & pick one... the whole concert is amazing.
Great reaction Bisscute
Please react to INXS what you need live at Wembley stadium
