Michael was one of the most sexy, charismatic and brilliant performer. Beautiful man 😍🤩
Sexi, voz maravillosa, performance impresionante!!! Michael siempre estarás en nuestros corazones❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Michael Was Also A Sensitive Soul With A Fabulous VOICE & Delivery & A Great (Lyric) SONGWRITER!!
❤
Bummed Kylie aswell 🎉🎉🎉
Sexiest man alive
This band needs to be inducted in the R&R Hall of Fame. They are the best Aussie band ever. Time to recognize their greatness.
I’ve been saying that for years. I seriously don’t get it, why they’ve never even been nominated. They had so many great hits, and ruled the airwaves and concert venues (obviously) for the better part of two decades.
He was a very charasmatic sexy frontman with a sexy voice. Stage presence indeed. "Need You Tonight" must be the next song from them. The sexiest song ever
INXS (a phonetic play on "in excess"). Thanks for your review.
The sexiest man I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting & one of the best performers EVER. We miss you, RIP Michael xo
Michael Hutchence just had it all. INXS will always hold a special place in my heart. I have seen this concert at Wembley probably a hundred times and I say the same thing every single time, just look at that audience! 🔥
INXS was an unbelievable band that's gotten a little lost to time because of Michael's untimely passing. I absolutely love seeing people on YT discovering their brilliance. They should have been in the R&R Hall of Fame a long time ago.
It’s pronounced in-x s (INXS). As a man I can say; I cried when Michael Hutchense killed Himself… INXS was one of my favorite band growing up.
As a man I tear up on certain lines of some songs, like this one at the line "I'll be your shoulder. You can tell me all. That's the reason why I'm here"
In Excess. Uau
That whole show is just pure perfection - the energy is infectious. Michael Hutchence was the last rock star. What stage presence. He and the other five members of INXS made some music that still stands up today. Definitely check out their catalog.
*IN EXCESS* is how you say it. Hutch is late lead singer, Michael Hutchence's nickname. This concert was in 1991, not 1981 as you said.
INXS is a band that has been around for a long long time and has had many great songs. The loss of Hutch was a devastating world event.
it's devastating my world still. god I miss that man.
Don’t forget to mention it’s made up of mainly the Farris brothers
@@jaymurray6051 I have been crushing on Jon since I first saw INXS in the early 80s
You have great taste. The one key signature that makes up the bands sound is Jon’s complex rhythms found on songs as early as “Body language” Driving beats first heard in “On a Bus” punctuated specifically on “Same Direction” and that signature clap in time anthemic drumming first heard in “The one thing” that would be repeated through his career. Now that is one man that knows how to use a set of Pearls. Jon is overlooked by many writers and reviews. And will hardly feature in the greatest drummer lists but among drummers he’s up there. And yes he was cute at the time.
The majority of INXS’s sound came about due to how far forward the drums were pushed in the mix and how Jon is a driving force behind it.
Jon a true legend and importantly a Farris
Michael was the epitome of sex in every fucking way. And the entire band INXS is everything in Australia 🖤🖤🖤
One of the last great front men. Anything from Wembly was great. One of my favs was What you need from this concert but they have a great back catalogue
I went travelling in Australia in my 20s, I worked as a labourer for an Aussie guy and he used to blast these guys and chisel. A decade later I binged them one evening and couldn't stop, Shabooh Shoobah to X were insane, the 90s albums grew on me and I think Elegantly Wasted was very very good but overshadowed by what happened.
I love how they started off New Wave reminding me a little of Roxy Music, then they change it up by Switch, then come in completely different on Listen Like Thieves. Quality band
I saw INXS twice in Sydney, once at the Hordern Pavilion and once at Concert for Life. There aren't words for Michael, the consumate front man. The whole band is phemenomal, a wonderful representation of Australia, and a wonderful time in my life as a young person.
“Kiss the Dirt (Falling Down the Mountain)” is an absolute banger too and the official video is as Outback Aussie as it gets. From their earlier album Listen Like Thieves, they interrupted their US tour and flew back to Australia for one day just to film this in the scorching heat of the red dirt desert near Coober Peedy, the opal mining capital of the world. A beautifully layered track & a visual feast, right before they took the rest of the world by storm with the Kick album.
Great song and video!
Their plane nearly crashed on the way to the outback too!
original sin, dancing on the jetty
So awesome to see an amazing concert without mobile phones waving around 🌈✨ MH the sexiest man on stage, i remember seeing INXS, MH we love you 💜
Loved watching you experience this! Michael Hutchence was one of the most charismatic people ever. And he had such a great voice too. There are a lot of good songs to choose from this show. I hope you'll do more.
Anything from this show will blow your mind! I saw them at a very small venue in 86 and they were still so incredible. ❤ My only show I got to see, but I am so thankful I was able to go! R. I. P. Michael. 💔
I saw them on the get out of the house tour 93. Sublime. Small intimate venues.
Same ... unforgettable
My first ever concert was INXS in 1985 and it blew my mind. I was obsessed with them for years! One of Australia's great music exports.
Fanfrickentastic!! INXS said as In Excess! Were one of the biggest bands in the world in the late 80s and early 90s! Anything from this show is awesome, a personal fav is What You Need! They were always best live!
20 years of hits to check out!!
My name and avatar may suggest that I'm a fan😂
Great suggestion Damian 👍
Yes!!! 👏🏻
@@Dr_KAP aww Kappy being nice, you must be on some great pain killers 💊💊😜
Edit: Kappy is always lovely!
@@jemxs that edit really saved you
@@Dr_KAP I know better than to mess with Kappy...even when she is injured 😂
@@jemxs good boy.. I hope we can get Nick down a Cold Chisel rabbit hole soon
luv luv luv!!! thankyou for this (INXS - in excess) What U Need live is also awesome. cheers from Oz
You're so welcome!
I was in my 20's during the bands days with Michael and I still listen to them. It still breaks the heart that he's gone. 💔😢💔
INXS one of the best bands ever. We miss Michael Hutchence still to this day. He is immortalized through this music
Love INXS Michael was a God, great vocalist huge stage presence. So sad he died way too early still miss him!❤️
Listen to never tear us apart. My husband did security at a music venue and he loved working when INXS played he said they sounded just like their recordings and Michael was amazing live. 😢
Other great songs from this concert are The Stairs, By My Side , Never Tear Us Apart, Suicide Blonde, and What You Need. Actually, the whole concert is great!
Yes to ALL of this.
Michael Hutchence. The sexiest front man and greatest lead vocalist that has ever lived. This concert probably the greatest ever, maybe only surpassed by another Aussie legendary band, AC/DC live at river plate stadium, Buenos Aries.
Ah, Michael Hutchence. The baby Mick Jagger, a natural-born Frontman. Vocals, intelligence, charisma, musicality, drive, he had it all. So tragic that he suffered an accidental head injury that changed him deeply. One of few that could be in the same league with Jagger, Plant...any of the best. 💋❤🤟
Nick, i vote for "What You Need" from this same concert at Wembley.......and also "Need You Tonight" official video......both awesome !!!
I can’t believe people have never heard of INXS (in excess). Michael Hutchence was the best frontman, charismatic, a superb lyricist and that voice, that tone, gives you chills ❤ The whole band was exceptional and Andrew Farris wrote most of the music to Michael’s lyrics 🇦🇺 en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Songs_written_by_Michael_Hutchence
I would suggest Mystify from inception to recording to in concert
ruclips.net/video/26ELh7P2ZtA/видео.htmlsi=W9pf9p6C0lFyEaCq
People that die the way he did, don't get talk. People want to forget it. I think it's hilarious. What a maroon.
It's true. I am from Canada (Ottawa) at the time and went to their concert at 13 or 14. Went by myself and never felt a more family atmosphere. I under stand the Irony of how Micheal struggled with life but as a teen, this band not only sounded just as great live as they did on their records. INXS was world wide at the time.
Rip Michael hutchence, my fav singer
Mine too, forever
And not a phone filming the gig in sight. How we used to enjoy concerts ❤ Best Band
Michael Hutchence is a cross between Jim Morrison and Mick Jagger. Don't know how many was in there but the old Wembley Stadium used to hold 100,000 in the stands
Thank you 🙏🏻💖 Michael Hutchence…Love of my life…I knew him since 3 years…He is a part of my heart…no one is like him….
There’s never been anything quite like INXS. Yes they are classic 80s, but a very distinct style. Love love love
This is from a whole DVD filmed in '91 at Wembley Stadium in the Uk. An entire show with a tons of their huge hits. They were at the top of the world in the late 80s into the 90s, literally only a handful of bands at the top. They had hit after hit after hit & on MTV 24/7. Every performance for this show (Live Baby Live) is great. I luckily saw them live, it was just as good.
You saw them live!!
Awesome performance! They had a great show here in San Antonio for the Dirty Hearts tour.
I 🎧 N 💓 X 🎶 S
Watch this whole concert, par excellence from beginning to end!! INXS Wembley 1991!!
Hutchence is one of a kind. These types of guys come around rarely.
I was lucky enough to see them at Wembley, hands down one of the greatest experiences of my life! Michael Hutchence will forever be my crush 🥰🥰
Michael could sing like no many other frontmen in Rock. full of sexual energy, and still clear voice with power
You definitely have to see the whole concert, it’s unbelievable from start to finish and you wish you would have been there on 91 🎉❤
Jon Fariss' playing was on another level
Crazy how good they sounded live and the energy this man had
The concert took place 1991 on July 13th. I so dear wish I could have been there.... but my absplute favorite is What You Need
"Mystify" is one of my favourites, as is "Need you tonight" and "don't change."
As an older Aussie INXS fan, who was lucky enough to see them live.. I just LOVE watching people who've never heard them before.
Thanks for the reaction. I still think "What You Need" from the same concert is the go-to for performance and stage presence of Michael.
It’s In- excess.. inxs.. millions of Aussie cringe when people say it the way you said it.. they were the best live band on the planet back then and still are the best live band . Us Aussies were so spoiled growing up with amazing live bands back in the 70s,80s and 90s all played live and sung live.. 😊🇦🇺
Great reaction. Brings back great memories. It's pronounced In-Excess.
Really awesome great group! Super great songs!!❤❤❤❤ One of my favorites of theirs, first time I have seen it live so great!!🔥🔥
You are hearing them now!!❤❤
I saw them twice in concert. Studio level sound both times. Awesome.
Thanks once again for doing this one for me Nick, will definitely be requesting a few more Australian artists for you to react to and of course some more INXS.
Thanks for this request !! Hope Nick delves into some Cold Chisel too!
And now we'll steer you to other tracks from this amazing concert. Try, Original Sin, and What You Need. Enjoy! ..and thank you.
Died too soon. RIP.
Highly unnessecary... He was GREAT!!!💙💙💙💙💙🦩✨✨✨✨✨✨✨
@@DonnaGisellaTranchelsorry for my comment but he did. I thought he was fabulous.
@@peterholmes2485 Oh!!! I was not referring to Your comment!!! I agree with You! You know of course how he died... That's what I meant... He died for no reason at all... Spur of the moment thing... All GOOD with Your comment!!! 💙💙💙💙💙🦩✨✨✨✨✨✨✨
@@DonnaGisellaTranchelthank you Donna I didn't want to upset anyone. Seeing this video just made me think what a waste of a beautiful man with great talent.
@@peterholmes2485 Agree 💯!
it's pronounced "IN EXCESS." I remember listening to them on repeat in the 80s and 90s in high school. Yes they are one of the greatest bands of all time.
What You Need from the same concert is epic ❤
The pubs and clubs of Australia, where most groups and artists got their start, are a tough gig if you survived and got noticed you were good.
Great band. Michael Hutchence was a STAR 💫.
Was lucky enough to see INXS live in my home town of Melbourne several times. Their performances were so slick and Michael was probably the most charismatic frontman I’ve seen - he had the uncanny ability to make you feel like you are in an intimate setting one moment, then the next, experiencing a huge event. They are the real deal and worth exploring their catalog, particularly live, where their magic truly lived!
Michael was one of the most charismatic front men with a voice to boot. He is truly missed.
This band had SO many hits back in the day.
Michael had a less popular but fascinating side project called Max-Q. He sings the shit out of "Way of the world". Still a topical and relevant song today.
The opening first tune at Wembley 'Guns in the sky' is awesome to!
Wow!! I wish I would have saw them live. I really liked them in high school. 80s group that had many hits. They creeped into the 90s but got overshadowed by grunge. Weird I’m in Vegas and I’m at the Shark Club and Nirvana comes on and I’m thinking who’s this. When I get back to Portland Grunge is now the thing. I loved it. I was a dj in a club Grunge and RandB is all I played. Lots of Nine Inch Nails.
Rockstar Bono mentioned Michael Is naturally true rock star!
Best music since 1980.
React "hear that sound" live in Wembley 91 🔥
Suite blonde….Wembly! The best.
Haha autocorrect got ya! Suicide Blonde!!
90’s concerts are unmatched 🕺💃👌👍
Stunning reaction ❤. Need You Tonight studio version if you get a sec😊
I will check it out
the Wembley live performances were among the band's greatests. Most of them better than the recorded ones. (contrary to most bands)
Disappear - Stairs - Bitter Tears - Devil Inside - Suicide Blone
THANK YOU for taking me back !! He was perfection just Beautiful Sex Sex. INXS looping tonight C'Mon xxxx
Inexxess!!! !!! Easy to pronounce!!! They were GREAT!!! Thank You!!!💙💙💙💙💙🦩✨✨✨✨
Only front man that had this sort of stage presence was Freddy mercury . Hutch really was the guy women wanted and men wanted to be
More INXS!!!!
Gen X at its finest!
Really? Dying by autoerotic asphyxiation?? That is the DUMBEST way to die. Is Gen X that fine?? lol
I am a gen x. Yes michael was stupid to do that. But my God i grew up with the talent of this man
@@nielgregory108that's not what happened. You're disgusting.
@@RobynHurley-zp9shwell, that isn't what he did.
Next one you do of INXS should be, Good Times, with Jimmy Barns and friends. This is the best version. ruclips.net/video/J9wX_87J-54/видео.htmlsi=FEBgkDSB16IUwKCs Also Never Tare Us Apart original video is best.
Michael Hutchence is perfection, miss him so much! my sweet michael. it's pronounced IN Excess, get it?! :)
You need to react to "Never tear us apart " by INXS. Great song ❤
I saw them live in the 80s... unforgettable
This is what we call A Concert INXS They Were The 80s Enjoy 😎 RIP Michael
oh...you can do all inxs ❤( it's prounced in excess) and they were big in the 80s...phenomenal band... they were big when i was in high school ;)
YEZZZ!
INXS, pronounced-
In-Excess, was an Amazing band with one of the most charismatic front men ever.❤
They were known for being one of the best live performance bands ever.
Michael Hutchence was like no other on stage.
He gave it all he had …Too much,
as he passed in 1997.
Do yourself a favor and get the remastered version of (live baby live ), INXS live at Wembley 1991.
Every song was and still is perfection👌🏽
The performance of (What you need) is 🔥.
Check them out performing “original sin” live Wembley 1991
You haven't seen anything yet! Dive into the amazing INXS catatloge!
Congratulations on your discovery...INXS ("in Excess") was AWESOME! You will enjoy all their albums. (Don't sweat the mispronunciation of the name. Way back in the 80s, when I heard my first INXS song, I thought they were I N X S too...)
'That ain't a trumpet Kirk' ❤❤❤
Iconic shoW
Micheal was sexiest man alive ever ! ❤
INXS is SO underrated bamd that it´s a crime.....dont get me started about Michael Hutchence
INXS (In Excess)... another example of how we were spoiled for good music 1989s Australia!!
Suicide blonde live. Same concert amazing.
One of the Great bands from the 80's
IN X S. ❤
Thanks for your reaction from a happy new subscriber from Australia! Please do more INXS!!!
INXS = In Excess.
R.I.P Michael Hutchence, the best front man ever!
I’m guessing INXS may not be the only Aussie band you haven’t heard of from this era. Another legendary Aussie band from the 80’s is Icehouse. Midnight Oil is another. If you don’t know them, you should definitely check them out. I’m assuming you know who Daryl Braithwaite from Sherbet and The Sherbs is, but just in case, I figured I should mention him.
Pronounced IN EXCESS 😊❤go listen to NEVER TEAR US APART... It's fantastic.
