This is one of aussies greatest, glad you enjoyed it mate and thoughts are with you and your family through this tough time
Yeah these guys were the best!! I mean talk about many styles and all of them are great! RIP MICHAEL
This was played at Michael's Funeral in Sydney & still gives me chills.
Also By My Side was played,it was gut wrenching 😢
wouldn't have been a dry eye in the Church after that. Perfection.
😢❤️❤️❤️
The thought of the tiger lilies on the coffin makes me bawl every time. I can remember that day and where I was when I found out he died like it was yesterday. My dad knew how much I would be affected so he waited until we were home to tell me. I had tickets for his next concert. I was devastated.
Michael's voice is so underrated. He was a great singer/songwriter. And amazing front man ❤
Michael was like a magnet... you couldn't take your eyes off him... great band, great tracks ! Thanks Dominic... (the necklace is important btw... will make you feel closer- good decision )
A beautiful INXS song! RIP Michael Hutchence.
OooOO - every time you do INSX, you make me cry. rip Michael.
I miss this soul so much, such good music what a talent!!!!!!
INXS is amazing, and Michael was one of the best. Loved them since the 80s.
Absolutely! You are a fantastic presenter this is my favorite song by INXS in your presentations can I look at the looks on people's faces again, you are priceless. P the band is fantastic and he carried the lyrics! Death came too early for him
RIP Michael Hutchence ❤ This is my favorite INXS song!!!
I absolutely live the music in this song. They did a 2 part movie “never tear us apart” about the band, I’ll try find it and send it to you, it is a fantastic watch. A very sad day for the music world the day he passed away. Your dad’s necklace looks fabulous on you, I know he will be looking down on you enjoying your reactions as much as we are. Mason sends you a big hug ❤
About 3yrs ago, I went to a U2 concert here in Melbourne. The concert was amazing, but 1 memory that sticks with me is that this song came on afterwards as part of the background music while the crowd was slowly filing out of the arena. Most of us spontaneously started singing along & it was a magical moment - everyone in the crowd just enjoying an Aussie classic together as we left the concert of another band.
I've seen them a few times, but first time I saw them back in 2010 in Melbourne Bono talked about his love for Michael before singing Stuck in a Moment, and wow, was that entire stadium _emotional_
I saw inxs in Australia in 1987 they played head line at Australian Made I flew from Auckland NZ it was an epic performance ❤❤❤❤❤❤😊
Saw them at the entertainment centre in Sydney on their Kick tour. This song was phenomenal. The bit before kirk's sax solo they held off starting playing again for a full minute. The tension was insane!
Still remember watching his funeral and this song playing. It's a stunning song.
The original intro stabs were done on a piano, but along the way it was changed to strings, creating one of the most iconic song intros of all time.
The INXS sound is so distinguishable. Thisnis one ofntheir best songs. Michal wrote the words to this in 10 mins at a party. We lost a legend when he died
Biggest band back in the day............1991 Wembley concert, goosebumps & raises the hairs on your back
He still gives me goosebumps ❤ I still remember where I was when I heard he passed! Broke my heart. I was driving and cried all the way home! Heard on the radio😢💔
On the breakdowns in this song, the "rests" become instruments, too. Thank you for great reaction.
Classic song and my favourite from INXS. Great band and Michael an amazing live performer.
I could say it once, or a million times…INXS song collaborations where 🔥
The do stand the test of time. Beautiful, just beautiful.
INXS, my favorite Aussie band of all time, and one of my favorite songs.
I always liken the clip to a James Bond movie.
Mysterious old European city. Handsome man and beautiful girl on a misty bridge, they must be spies!!
My thoughts are with you and your family.
This is one of those songs that I loved back in the day when it was new, but still always seem to forget how good it is until I happen to hear it again. So gorgeous, and Michael Hutchence is so good. It's funny how so many things can remind you of loved ones even if on the surface it doesn't seem like they "should." Music is so powerful in so many ways. Some advice from an old lady (well, older than you anyway), write down those memories. Just take a few minutes when you think of something, grab a notebook, and jot it down. Ten, twenty years from now you'll be glad you did.
This band has the distinct ability to make it's musical sound memorable. They take their time with the breakdowns and have strong recognizable riffs and melodies. And then there's 'him' .....
Nic Nic Nic.
As a drummer I am SO proud you picked the Rif. Actually a classic.
This song is brilliant! One of my favorites of all time!
The first band I truly fell in love with....and a huge part of the reason I became a professional drummer!
That snare roll/drum fill leading into the sax solo is so effing tasty. Gets me everytime.
I almost screamed when he stopped it to make a comment just before the sax was to kick in.
Such a great track the instrumentals mixed with Michael’s voice is next level
My favorite Inxs song and one of my favorite songs. It is so haunting.
The old guy they feature is the great actor Laurance Olivier.
I watch a lot of reactions to Australian music but this bloke keeps it somewhat real 🙌
That there is the sexiest Australian artist ever. More charisma than I’ve ever seen in my life. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I was a huge INXS fan, saw them live 3 times… they were big reason I fell in love with music.. I remember were I was when it came over breaking news that he had passed away..RIP Michael..
So loved Michael :(
One of our very best - an exceptional musician - sadly missed 😢
The world lost a great artist when we lost Michael 😭
I remember seeing them for the first time at the Melbourne Entertainment Centre at 15. Michael was an absolute showman, you couldn't take your eyes off him. Brilliant live. Glad you enjoyed it. 🐨
I have an INxS CD in my car....all their greatest hits! It gets played regularly and nice and loudly. This is one of my favs!!
INXS one of the best Aussie groups.
followed them since 1st album loved them was the surf music of the time with Cold Chisel Midnight Oil Hunters and Collectors, etc, Te Saints met Michael Hutchence when I worked in a beer garden here was so so kool, so many bands so many memories xx thanx 4 this 🙌🏼🇦🇺filmed in Prague
Life long tribute to the late michael hutchins, brings tears every time
They were magic live, especially Michael, unbelievable!! 😂👍🫂 (The scene created says, even death can never tear us apart! Our people don't really leave us, they are always in our heart and memory! 🤗)
I loved watching you hear, watch, and feel that song. It is one that resonates. And jeezuz those drums and sax!
Sending ❤ to you and your family.
Love you Nick...
Thank you for sharing such a precious moments....with you beautiful knowledge of Music..you are a Legend !!!!💛🥰💛
My favourite song by them.
I know how you feel.
My Mum died last September, then my Dad died just 3 months later in December. So many things trigger the memories, but nothing more than music.
I remember the day I heard Michael died 😭
He was a legend INXS were never the same after he passed
You found the power of this song. It takes you on a journey through your own life while you listen to a great song and lyric. I hope it brought you comfort 🙏❤️
Love INXS, Michael Hutchence was a rock God! I’m still not over his passing 😭💔
To me, this is the perfect song. Just everything about it is exactly as it should be and should never be torn apart
Mt Love is INXC.
❤❤
Nick - so sorry to hear about your dad. Good music pieces know how to use pauses and silence in their pieces to the best effect, and Michael seemed to master it. BUT, Wow - youve brought me back...and i knew you had NO idea what you were going to hear coming up...I could tell. And what is an 80's number without a sax? Good to see you again.
Devil inside is another brilliant song!
INXS live at Wembley song …what you need …check it out
They were the 80 .A Great Band RIP Michael
Always gives me goosebumps; beautiful
The video clip was filmed in Budapest Hungary.
When I saw you were reacting to this I was a bit worried about how you would feel, considering what youve been through recently. Im very sorry to hear you lost your Dad.
That is not Budapest. It is filmed in Prague along the banks of the Vltava River. Prague has 9 famous old bridges, most famous of which is the fifteenth century Charles Bridge, which is probably the bridge in the video.
@@artistjoh probably? You sure about that?
Definitely filmed in Prague, the cemetery in the clip is in the old Jewish ghetto and the bridge is extremely iconic
@@lonnie224 Yes, I just checked. That is definitely the Charles Bridge. You can see the famous statues along the bridge.
Def Prague, Andrew Farriss was telling me how the boys and crew were being shadowed by the secret police...........Andrew went over to them with a bottle of vodka........and well...............ended up having a private tour of the city. This was before collapse of Warsaw Pact
Michael Hutchence committed suicide in 1997. He was found in this hotel room with his belt around his neck. i was so devastated
This song is powerful & beautiful. The only knock on it is it's not long enough. RIP, Michael.
Thank you for your reaction and for acknowledging Michael's passing (25 years ago!) My thoughts go out to you for your father's passing, kind regards from Australia
Sending you love, a very powerful song ❤️ Very important to us Aussies.
One of the best songs ever. 🎵
One of my all time favourite songs. Thanks for doing this reaction, I requested it a year ago.
It's about relationships. About love. And there's many kinds of love.
This is my Fav INXS song
This song and the show must go on came out almost the same time.
My favourite song by them ♡
When Michael died his then girlfriend Paula Yates played this song on loop and didn’t get out of bed for weeks. They had a young daughter who was adopted by Paula’s ex husband Bob Geldolf after Paula died from a drug overdose and a broken heart not long after Michaels death. The death of Michael was so devastating because he had the world at his feet and then hung himself because when he was touring Australia, Bob wouldn’t allow Paula bring her other children to Australia, (out of spite I believe ) to join Michael on tour. I also think Michael would have turned in his grave to think that Bob was the direct reason why Michael and Paula died and then he ended up raising their daughter
It’s definitely one of those songs that can hold different meanings depending on what’s going on in your life.
Stay strong, thoughts are with you & yours.
And it’s also another Aussie anthem, great song.
You pronounced it right the second and third times 👍🏽
Thanks for doing this one, I really needed to hear it myself, to remind me that love never truly dies.
One of my fav songs!
Masterpiece ❤️
Love and prayers, my friend💜💜💜
Thoughts are with you at this tough time. Take care.
This is the Jam from INXS
AWESOME!! 😎
♥️♥️♥️
You have heard this song before.... you reacted to Delta and Josh Teskey singing this one. They did a fantastic cover, but this will always be my favourite. My thoughts are with you and your family
We're all thinking of You AND ya Dad down here...
This is such a phenomenal song and Michael is so charismatic and sexy. The song has such a vibe and Michael's voice is just perfect. Wearing a person's jewellery is special and helps you feel close to them. Keep wearing your dad's chain, it looks great on you. I wear my mum's ring all the time, it's very precious to me.
Port Adelaide football club game day song🤘🤘 a great emotional song

While the music is sensationally good we should not fail to acknowledge the incredible cinematography and directing of the video by Australian director Richard Lowenstein. He shot it in Prague because that city fitted the feeling of the song. His visual storytelling and depiction of characters adds poetic layers that allows the music to shine, like setting a diamond in a perfect platinum setting.
I've been waiting for you to do this for so long. thank you
at one stage they were the biggest band in the 80s filling out stadiums worldwide. It is easy to replace certain band members BUT you couldn't replicate Michael Hutchence.
one of the songs we used to do in my cover band, great to do ...(also a great karaoke song)... we also used to do a couple of other songs of theirs, Don't Change / Mystify ... and later with the new singer Pretty Vegas i think it was
Great band… 👍
The 25th anniversary of Michael's death was on 22nd November ... Rest easy Michael
One of my favourites (Aussie spelling) .... and the clip just adds to the perfection
Been watching for awhile now , I think u will like this
You’re a beautiful soul my friend. Bless your heart
IN EX SESS to Aussies. :) You're getting there.
Kirk Pengilly's Sax was legendary but Garry Gary Beers never gets enough respect for his bass.
Look up the movie Dogs in space ..the lead character was Michael
Check out the INXS song 'Don't Change', still one of the greatest rock songs ever recorded.
Check out the band "Bad Company." Great songs and an amazing rock singer Paul Rodgers. Michael always gave me his vibe.
I hope you and you family are doing OK. ❤
💜 were we all singing along?!
Thoughts are with you, Nick.
I know this might sound morbid but I've picked that as my funeral song
Just want to mention a specific song, called “Kite” by U2. Their lead singer Bono wrote it about his own father passing away. It’s considered to be a soaring, emotional tune.
Filmed in Prague
