I think your review is spot on. I've been using Engage for several years and this is the best Engage paddle I've used. It added a little more pop without sacrificing the control that I love using Engage.
Hybrid paddles are a little wider and shorter. This is an elongated paddle with an aero curve.

Actually, it is a hybrid shape. The elongated paddle has a flat top. Engage website describes both.
@@JimSpotts-yr2lh No, what matters is the length being 16.5” and width at 7.5 makes it elongated no matter what the shape is.
