11Six24 Hurache-X Kevlar and Control+ Review: Two of the Best Paddles Under $150 + Giveaway

  • 11Six24 claims the worst name in pickleball and follows it up with some of the worst naming convention in pickleball but luckily it doesn't stop them from making great paddles for great prices. If you are in the market for an elongated all-court paddle that leans toward power and pop then the Hurache-X Control+ is a great option especially if you like the Six Zero Double Black Diamond but want more reach power and pop. The Kevlar version is a great all-court paddle that plays softer and maintains great control with still good finishing power.

I find myself tuning in for every review these days, lol. I am very interested in trying out these Hurache paddles. The shape I like is the Control Kevlar elongated. I’ve heard so much about these paddles the past couple of months, but with so many paddles to choose from, plus the fact that most of us aren’t independently wealthy, I haven’t been able to pull the trigger and pick one up. Thanks once again for the review!

A buddy of mine plays with a Huarache-X and i liked it. The kevlar with the elongated aero shape would be up my alley as a replacement to my prism flash. The aero shape is really interesting and i like it on my Vatic Pro.

I think it's great that these are elongated paddles coming in at lower swing weights. I would prefer the Hurache Kevlar paddle (soft control) because I already have both the Engage Pursuit Pros 16mm paddles, which are power paddles. Thanks for another great review and all of you awesome content that helps us to stay up to date and informed!

  • @Bsteiny42

I play with Hurache control + and the Ruby. When I want to win the game I take my Ruby out. It has more control and less pop , easier to handle resets. The hurache + control has more power for sure, smaller sweet spot but the power is so fun to play with. If the Ruby had a six inch handle I would buy 5. So- this Kevlar hurache might be the sweet mix of all. But - I wish the paddle face was a touch bigger. I’m 6-2, 230lb. The ball is a rocket off the hurache when I get it.

I like the idea of the all court paddle with the Hurache-X Control Kevlar. It seems to have a good balance of control and power, plus the longer handle is good for my double backhand. So with the price close to J2K and small difference paying for the longer handle is worth it.
