Ive been interested in getting the J2K for a while but the extra pop on the 14mm sounds more enticing.

I have my Year of the Dragon arriving next week. It will be my first paddle. We play every shift at the firehouse for 5+ hours between calls.

As a new player, the wide body seems like a good place to start.

I'm intrigued by the widebody for the bigger sweetspot and blocking capability at net

I'm actually testing another 18K face paddle right now (Chinese origin) and the grip is no joke! I believe in the weave (added point for a very pleasing aesthetics). Wonder why other companies haven't jumped on this train.

How is it compare to j2k 16 and 14

Favorite paddle is J2k but worried about buying one cause of core crushing/delamination

I am using the Spartus Apollo based on your great recommendation. I have it weighted 3 grams on each side from mid paddle down. I love it! But it is short, and the ball does just die off the paddle when i hit it at the top (mostly when i'm reaching in the kitchen to take it out of the air). You mentioned that in this (awesomely organized video, but maybe talk about the benefits/drawbacks of each shape at the beginning). Should I try the J2K? is it similar enough but without that drawback? Thanks so much for your guidance!

As usual, super great review! I like the comparisons to other paddles. I was wondering how the Jellybean would stack up to the Vatic Prism Flash. Good to know! Will definitely have to test these out, I'm torn between the All Court and Jellybean.

Tried the 16mm and it was fantastic. I'm guessing the 14mm is also great and also want to see how a 15mm would play 😊

The more offensive all court would be my top choice!

I'm so glad you mentioned the stiffness of the Bantam TKOs hurting your elbow. That helps eliminate them from my consideration. Right now I play with the Ruby with no elbow issues. If I want a little more power and pop than that paddle, while protecting my elbow, what would you suggest? J2K Pro?

All court is good for my play style where I take up all the court.

Which provides more topspin, the 14mm or 16mm dynasty?

I only have ball dust on the sweet spot. …. When I hit outside sweet spot, I instinctively use my hand to erase the mark. Lol.

Good set of paddles and fair pricing. The All Court really catches my eye as an all court paddle.

What interests me about the LAZR 16 S is the power and pop characteristics of the paddle.

J2k pro is my first ever paddle other then then the wood one that came in a set from Walmart lol I absolutely love it but I’ve never swung another good paddle. Why did it get the pro? Well that’s where I’ll be soon 😂😝🤣

Yes, sometimes we run in too fast. I'm letting go the high balls good enough so that's not too bad.

J2k 14mm looks legit. Been looking to try a kevlar paddle, and my current paddle is already a 14, so already kinda used to playing with a smaller sweet spot.
