I haven't read through all of the comments so someone may have already touched on this... and it looks like you practice this anyway. I always like to wash my cars in the morning, or early evening to avoid washing in direct sunlight. Those rays like to bake in water spots and dry out the car way too fast. Living vicariously through your videos until I can snag my 1LE (Spring 2019). Keep up the good work.

Hey Matt just a couple of questions first what towels did u use on your vehicle and second what's a good brand of blower to dry the vehicle down ? That you would recommend strongly?
Hey Maty, can you explain the "two bucket" method and function of that grate? Sorry I couldn't really tell what the grate was doing in the bucket. I'm a noob I know. Sry.
+LawMobileGaming two bucket method has your soapy and rinse water separated. The idea is your always putting a clean wash pad in the soap.
After washing a panel you take the pad and rub it against the grate to remove dirt and contaminates from the pad. Once done you ring it out, check the pad to make sure it is clean and dip it into the soapy bucket. In my wash phase you can see me take a dirty pad and rinse it and show you it being clean again.

Hey Matt, when I wash my car I foam it, rinse it, then hit it with foam again to provide maximum lubrication for the wash pad and my two bucket method. Do you think that's excessive?

I also do it that way. probably is nuts but black shows everything so I do it

Hey Matt, just wondering. Have you found a tire dressing that you really like? One that's long lasting and keeps dirt and grease off the tire?
+Miguel Hernandez I love Adam's tire dressing but I do think think any can keep dirt and grease off the tire. None that I have tested can do that.
Do you put the towels in the washer with rejuvenator, on Extream gentle or cold?

Does the water system connect to the pressure washer or do you do a final rinse with it at the end with deionized water?

i recently bought a 2016 mustang gt. i took it too get washed and the notice lots of swirls and scratches do you know how i would be able to correct those things. thanks
+jrans021 you would need to Polish them out.
jrans021 only way to remove swirls and scratches would be to polish. You'll need a swirl/scratch remover product or some kind of polish and can either try by hand or use a dual action polisher. Some glazes and other products can hide some light marks by filling them in on the clearcoat, but it's only a temporary "fix" as they only hide the marks and eventually wears off revealing them again

+jrans021 let's get the taxonomy of words here set. Swirls are not something you introduce to your paint. What most people see is spider webbing. Swirls only happen under heated applications, such as a bad wax or polishing job.
But no, you can't prevent scratches unless your clear coat is made out of diamonds or stronger ;).
Lethal well, you can certainly make swirl marks by poor waxing but also by bad washing such as using dirty towels/mitts, etc etc. I've found that quality soapy bucket or rinse less washing and clean accessories will definitely decrease probability of them. Of course straight or squiggly "scratches" are a whole other animal lol. But yea, unfortunately if you've got any of the above you'll have to correct them with at least light polishing or at worst moving up to more aggressive cutting compounds, pads etc.
what leaf blower are you using and is it better than adams polishes side kick?
+Alejandro Paez I have never used APs side kick. But the one I use is for leafs. I didn't buy it specifically to dry my car.
Matt, have you researched "Ceramic" coatings at all? (Ex. Nanoshine-Ceramic Pro)
+Ed C of course, they are good, but I have yet to see a system that lasts as long as they say they do.
how long has the CR Spotless filter lasted for you so far? I live in SoCal as well and am highly considering it for my black car. Do you use it for final rinse only?
+Philip Chang if I would just use it for rinsing only it would last a very long time. But I use it for washing and rinsing which is overkill in it last about 15 to 20 carwashes before I have to refill the resin. Well not really refill but replace
LethalGarage I actually wanted to purchase it to use for washing and rinsing as well. I'd rather not take a chance with water spots after purchasing the filter. I also have a Ryobi Pressure washer and was wondering if you noticed a decrease in pressure while using the cr spotless or if it all works just as well. thanks again

+Versaceking paint shouldn't yellow, unless it is crappy paint. But a good wax helps with UV
Alright thanks for clearing that up. I asked because I never owned a white car, however on the road I see a lot of other white vehicles have a yellow color to them that are only a couple of years old.

foam it let it sit for few min , then power washer rinse it then foam it again. other wise you're rubbing fine sand and particles all over the clear coat.
Wheel cleaners have the pissiest spray mechanisms in existence. Pretty much have to throw the stuff on
