DOT compliant, MVSS-106 Certified and rated for 6000psi vs the stock 1200psi. This is old but ..... I use a large syrenge with a small hose on it to pull all old fluid out or resevoir when i do a total brake fluid change. Speeds things up so you are pulling fresh fluid instantly.
Definitely one of the best mods to be done.

Didn't want to go with a ZL1 brake set? I picked up the Gabriel's stainless lines for my caddy and they do shore up the brake pedal feel and a dare I say a quicker stop. Always a treat to see you do work on your Camaro!

Wanna buy my spares? They are yellow, brand new, would need some paint to match what you are doing. I bought them to do an upgrade for my CTS but decided to forgo the upgrade and just bought a CTS-V instead.

I thought this was a fun video, nice to see Camaro Fam helping each other out. Though I'm not sure this will make any real measurable difference in braking performance. Like you, I hope to upgrade to the "BIG" brakes one day. Heck, it can't hurt to do this I'm thinking... right? 😉
With 6 pots being so pricey, I am going down the road for the cheap things I can do to make my stock 4 pots feel better. At the end of the day, they do bite quicker. I haven;t had an issue where I felt I don't have enough brake... yet. So might keep the 4 pots for longer.

No these stainless lines are narrower than the stock and are really meant to improve the pedal feel

when you change motor oil do you use synthetic ( like mobil 1 ) or racing synthetic , i know there is Amsoil or Lucas....and royal purple etc. ?

He will not outgrow it. He will need to have his spleen removed to have the process stop.

Not sure what bad things people can say? They installed easily, high quality product and build. They seem to have increased the reaction time of the braking. But that is a subjective opinion. But the theory around this type of product is sound, and I'll take any improvements when it comes to my life as I possibly can.

I had a 2014 camaro that leaked out of the tank very slow , Serv Bulletin said ONLY FILL 1/2 FULL . They put 3 tanks on the car , I found the serv Bull & they said no need , we fixed it ............. clearly not !! If you have a 5th gen I would keep the fluid low- 1/2 full & look for drips . I had a 15 that didn't leak at all ?? For the most part just normal driving , it leaked in the first 5,000 miles when I was doing break in as well ( not fast driving ) . It was a Great car killed by the people working on it .

The lines didn't take long once doing it. Maybe 30 minutes if Mike didn't have a cam in his face. The fluid took about an hour to do it right, do each side of the calipers and slowly adding in new fluid until it bleed through at the calipers.
Matt - Thanks. It appeared pretty easy based upon the vid. I've heard that's a good upgrade (lines and fluid) to make right away - especially in SoCal... Btw - Any 1/4 mile times?
