Neil Peart from RUSH best quote was
"When I'm riding my motorcycle, I'm glad to be alive. When I stop riding my motorcycle, I'm glad to be alive" ✌️
My grandfather met him while he was working when he came in to buy a bike from Mc brides cycle in Toronto

Glad to hear you all made it home safely! 😊
Thank you!
Epic journey, but getting a son to college is part of family time that is necessary. Being a dad is more important!!
👍👍
Glad you guys made it home safe, first and foremost 💯🤘🏻!! All the videos and shorts you posted were AWESOME!! The scenery along your journey was absolutely breathtaking!! I watched every one 💯🤘🏻!! I even told my friends who ride to watch your channel to see the trip you guys were taking. Don't worry about not being able to post stuff, while you were on the road. We all know that you'll post awesome stuff in a few days 💯🤘🏻. Other than the journey to the West Coast, and having to cut it short..just meeting Wille G Davidson must have been AWESOME!! Really looking forward to seeing the edited footage and can't wait to see the transformation of Black Jack 🇺🇸💯🤘🏻!! Keep up the great work John and always ride safe 🇺🇸✌🏻💯!!
Thanks Jay
Glad you all made it back safe and sound. I look forward to the trip video!
I was planning a long trip like that with some friends a while back, but life got in the way and it never happened. I still have picture of the map and routes we were going to take, so hopefully I can make it happen.
Hi Mr. John! Our hearts are happy that you all arrived safely home!!
Congratulations to your son for beginning a new journey to college!!
We send our heart filled hopes and prayers that your son is blessed abundantly with everything wonderful and successful for college!
My wife, Shauna and myself were hoping to connect up with you, Mr. Sandy and Mr. Danny while traveling. We were planning to gift a couple of bottles of our wine that we produce (small family business) from Napa, California. Maybe next trip??
Thank you for presenting wonderful videos of your adventures and thank you in advance for future videos!!
Awesome trip Awesome Job as always you the man thank you Bro 👍👍👍

Hey John, happy that you are back safe and sound. What a journey. I bought the coil chrome cover for softail and it does fit the 2024 road glides. Just so you know. Cheers from HOT AZ.
Thanks for the tip
Welcome back home
Thank you for sharing your amazing trip!
Please don’t forget to make your comment on the LS2 helmet…
Kind regards from Spain.
Welcome back home, John! Stupendo viaggio!!!
Patiently awaiting your edited videos of your trip…congrats on your son’s move to college…been there done that before too a few times… big day ahead and emotional day as well 👍🏼
Hey John,
get rid of that OEM rear axle when you do your wheel swap. Either run the PM or the Kraus.
I have installed both, but I am definitely more partial to the PM. The OEM rear axle is completely inferior with those cams.
Also throw in some alloy art swing arm bushings and Cush drive.
But most importantly buy a Missing Link from rak and pull industries so you can get your swing arm/rear wheel squared up and aligned properly.
Every single one that we see comes right out of the Harley Davidson factory misaligned.
The Missing link, solves this problem.
And it’s night and day difference once installed properly.
These are a couple minor things I did to my street glide that made a world of improvement in handling of the bike.
😊
Glad you guys stopped off at FARROW HARLEY-DAVIDSON EAST, ( The Oldest Harley Dealership in America ), so that your ride could get the 3 hole drop. It was my pleasure. Nice meeting you, John. Stoked your finally home and rested. Good luck to your son's next step in his journey. Come back anytime! 🤘😎 Trevor @ Farrow!

Welcome Back. Looking forward to your review of the LS2. Patiently waiting to see if i want to order one.
Big John - glad you and the boys are safe and back home from that epic journey. Figured that between the distance and spotty cellphone coverage you’d be hard-pressed to try and edit and upload any content. Sounds like all went well and the bikes performed wonderfully. Just returned myself from a run to Sturgis and laid down about 2800 miles on my old ‘03 FLHTCI Anniversary edition. Ran like a champion up and back. 🙏🏻🙏🏻. Looking forward to the new content when you get to it after family obligations. As always, stay safe brother 🤜🏼🇺🇸
👊👊
Glad you all made it home safe. What an amazing journey you had! We can’t wait to see the videos. It was awesome seeing you again in Milwaukee. Happy editing! 🤘🏼

I just did 9923 on a Coast2Coast trip. Gone like 3 weeks it was amazing! Update videos are hard to do on the road lol

Glad you made it home brother. Cant wait to see the entire trip!!
Welcome home and thanks for the inspiration.
Thanks so much! 😊
Nice, can’t hardly wait for the Blackjack jackup to come
Welcome home fellas !!
I really enjoy your stuff, keep up the great work
Thanks, will do!
Epic journey man! Keep at it so we can enjoy the content 🙏🏻
Couple of questions:
1. why are you getting rid of the Wilbers? Didn’t like them?
2. I am assuming all these miles put some strain on your body. How did the backrest help with back or shoulder pain?
Thanks!
Only reason I’m getting rid of the Wilbur is because I’m doing a performance bagger build, and yes, the backrest helps tremendously
The part about not having connectivity should have been a highlight! Your free from the chivatos called wifi and cell phones!
Haha 🤙
Looking forward to seeing the videos from your journey!
Welcome Home Brother.
Great job on the trip !
welcome back! good luck with JR and college, he's in for some BIG SMILES!!)
💯👍
Glad you guys are safe. Great content. Best of luck to your son in college! Looking forward to the upcoming series!
Glad it was good…looking forward to vids…
Awesome your home and safe but damn we are happy when we do 200 miles in a day but 3 weeks and 8000 miles holy hell that’s tiring for sure
Looks like one of your legs got a lot of workout in.
welcome home what A ride
Looking forward to the videos, always great content. I enjoy them all. From Niagara Falls Canada ✌️
Awesome! Thank you!
I was concerned ....you guys made it back safe!!!
Glad you made it home safe bro. Looking forward to the footage.
I’ve done plenty of 500+ mile days. They blow. I’m learning to do shorter days and enjoy the ride. There’s a learning curve there.
Very true
Glad yall safe
That looks like an amazing trip! I’m curious if you guys will be doing a program on what’s going on over at the motor company with off shoring manufacturing of the sportster nightester and Pan America in Thailand and the companies insisting on being Woke through new DEI, mandatory policies ! lots of other things that are not the values of 98% of Harley riders.
Would love to see you both tackle this issue and get the word up to Milwaukee as millions of riders are pretty ticked off
Family matters 👍
I’m right there with you I got mine in may with four miles on it I got 10,600 on her now
Now it's time for Bikers Blues & BBQ in AR!!!
I really thought you guys were still out West.
Glad you all made it back safely Big John how did those tires hold up?
The Michelin commander 3 are great
Glad you had a good time. I was watching recent videos of HD going bigtime WOKE..any thoughts?
I've seen lots of bikes sporting that fat front tire look and was wondering if you're considering it?
More rubber to pavement is always a good thing.
I don’t like the fat front tire
I was wondering why we didn't hear from you.
Thank you for the work you do. Can you tell me where you got your stand? The one you are using to wash the bike?
Let’s roll
Big John, what route di you take back thru Pennsylvania? Obviously you made it safe with no incident but, curious what route you took. Glad you all had great but abbreviated trip.

@@CYCLEFANATIX Interesting road, glad y'all had a good trip.
What an amazing trip that must have been! How did you like the Road Sofa? That's the seat I'm looking at right now for my new 2024 road Glide. I'm also looking at different light wheel wheel options. If it's not too much trouble, could you weigh your stock wheels when they come off and also weigh the new wheels? Right now I'm looking at the Harley forged wheels but nobody seems to know how much they weigh or how much the stock wheels weigh. Another option I'm looking at are BST wheels. I know how much those weigh and know how much the 2016 Road Glide stock cast aluminum wheels weigh (17.5 lbs and 17.5 lbs according to a video by Moonshine Harley). Thanks!
Very comfortable, specially with the backrest
@@CYCLEFANATIX Thanks! I just ordered the Road Sofa for my 2024 Road Glide!
nice!!!
Wow
Which riser and handle bar set up did you run during your trip? Would you continue to run the same setup or change somethings.
9 1/2” pull back and mid bend bar Thrashin perfect set up, definitely leaving it
So ? Tell me about the seat?u happy? thinking of getting the same one….please let me know..
Saddlemen road sofa is key for long distance trips with backrest
God bless you are all back. I will say one thing only... Your big road trip... You had no idea about dropping your kid off the college? I don't see you to be the fool not knowing this... Again, that is my only concern and complaint.
Yes, I knew this and mentioned this before I left on the trip. You’re just hearing it now in this video. He was accepted to several colleges and was waiting basically last minute to see if he was accepted to others so that’s why it was a late decision
Curious as to why you are changing out the Wilbur’s suspension. I have it on mine and it was a fantastic ride for my cross-country trip and really don’t see a need to replace it. Is there a real need to or are you just going to try something else for fun?
I’m doing a performance bagger build
🤘🏽🙌🏽
Is the boy taking the HD to college
It’s my other son
@@CYCLEFANATIX by the way Kemimoto took care of my issue I told you about , a while back
Is all cool. I', envious. I'm interested in knowing how to find accommodations if I did a trip like you did. It seems to me that just travelling blind w/o pre-planned motel/hotel stays would be very very frustrating. I'm not sure of that though. I'm willing and able to do the miles but when I am tired, I get damned cranky and not wanting to deal with "No Vacancy". What do you do to zero-in on a place to rest your head?
It's usually not that hard to get a room, most of the time. Unless there's some sort of event in the area it's relatively easy. When I'm "Nomading", I'll ride til about noon, then I pull out a book I never leave home without. It's called "The Next Exit" find it at any major bookstore. This book has almost every major highway in the country. They're listed by State. Find the state you're in, the highway you're on and every exit has a list of Hotels, motels, campgrounds, restaurants, gas stations and attractions. Pick the hotel you want, Google it, then you can call to check availability and reserve. I usually decide the exit by how many miles I plan on doing or say I'll ride til 5pm, estimate the arrival time and pick my exit. It has never failed me. This book and a full atlas go with me on every road trip. It's about a $50 investment. Try it, I think you'll like it. Also I update both every 4 or 5 years. I hope this helps ease your concerns. Ride hard, die free!
I will be putting out a video after this series is done
What windshield do you have? I just bought a 2024 Road Glide and I’m 6’2 and need something a little better
