  • Hey, ya'll! Today's video is YOGA FOR DIGESTION! This practice is about 20 minutes long & it aims to help with digestion, bloating, trapped gas, constipation, etc. So, we will be doing poses that involve twists & folds to help wring out the intestines & get things moving. One of the keys to getting this practice to work for you is RELAXING. That will help to activate your PSNS (Parasympathetic Nervous System) which is your "rest & digest" system. Don't be surprised if you feel the urge before this video is over. Making sure you drink a good amount of water may help too!     Thank you Nico for your videos! I was diagnosed earlier this year with C-PTSD and Generalized Anxiety. Your videos, plus therapy, have been a huge help in making me feel safe in my body again. I really appreciate your “no ego” approach to yoga, and feel like I can move forward in my life in a new way. If you ever do a certification program, I would love to lean more.     i searched for this video today as i've been having quite severe stomach cramps lately, it's been hard for me to sleep the past few nights from the pain. after about 10 minutes of this practice i could no longer feel the pain anymore. i'm actually amazed it worked so fast, i'll definitely be coming back to this one every time i have a tummy ache from now on.     Feeling a light aching pressure in my lower abdomen and have been dealing with uncomfortable gas for the past 2 weeks 😩 I suspect it’s because I started eating my allergen again 😅😖😔 So my plan is to do this flow, some dry brushing, and a nice shower. I’ll come back afterwards to update! Prayers up 🙏🏾 and fingers crossed 🤞🏾 lol

    I’m a testament that yoga is good at getting rid of stomach pain like indigestion, heartburn etc. I ate something one night and I got heartburn. I usually will eat a banana and that helps, but I didn’t have any. So I searched on RUclips and there were yoga positions and I felt 100% better and was able to sleep all night. Thanks Nico for this video. I’ll use this whenever necessary.

      Okay…
      I made that comment before even doing the damn thing.
      Now I did the damn thing! I stayed at the end. Sat longer with the breath you guided us to in the beginning. Again…I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Truly, honestly. For the past couple of days I’ve felt tightness in my chest. Google’d everything under the sun…just to come here…& find out it was gas 😂. Thanking myself, RUclips notifications, and you for this necessary deep breathing.
      P.s why am I always crying 😭 ugh bye 🤌🏾💓💓

    I just found after doing this my right leg is not perfectly touching to my chest while left leg is ok can you guide is it ok?

      Sometimes one side is more flexible than the other & that's perfectly normal.
