    Fantastic review! I appreciate all the detail you put into the build. Helps me a lot to understand the in and outs of this system. I picked one up soon as I learned about it and have been feasting on Lensfly75 reviews and yours was the one I enjoyed the most. Love your frame designs as well! I’ll be picking up the 5” soon. Outstanding work on both your design and video production.

    The frame is aluminum, those lines are just from them using a roughing mill to cut the frame out of sheet.

    Nice Video, There are two ports one on the top like you said for Betaflight and the one on the Bottom for DJI updates? Do you have a video on how to set up the Betaflight on it? Would really appreciate it, I am more of a DJI guy. Thanks

    • @PattyFlipz
      @PattyFlipz  9 месяцев назад

      Hi, actually betaflight is pre installed on the flight controller. You just need to download the free program online, plug in your drone and hit connect. Most of it’s already set up if you get the built kit , you just need to connect your transmitter. There’s a bunch of videos out there on how to do it.

    How do you adjust throttle to fly indoor for real estate. Would you recommend the Firefly 1.6'' Hex Nano HD DJI Wsap V1.2 Micro Drone for indoor and mount a camera like a go pro on it?

    • @PattyFlipz
      @PattyFlipz  10 месяцев назад

      Hi, no I don’t recommend firefly hex nano for indoor use. Check out this video it talks about throttle scale and shows the exact drone I use for indoor work. It uses a naked GoPro from flywoo. Geprc also sells naked GoPros too. Cinewhoop Betaflight Settings for Real Estate Fly Through Videos Tutorial | FPV Drones

      What controller are you using and is it connected to elrs ? ? Also would it pair with DJI goggles integra or another version ?

    • @mybeachhouseguyfl
      @mybeachhouseguyfl 10 месяцев назад +1

      Also I saw you on the fly woo too the 75 I have been looking at that with 03 with DJI controller as an into to fly inside.

    • @PattyFlipz
      @PattyFlipz  10 месяцев назад

      @mybeachhouseguyfl I use tbs tango 2 controller and it pairs with tbs rx nano receiver. There are other systems yes such as elrs, ppl are having great results with those too. I would stay away from the DJI controller. Standalone receiver and controller is a better way to go.

    • @PattyFlipz
      @PattyFlipz  10 месяцев назад

      @@mybeachhouseguyflYeah the flylens 75 is a good choice for mixed use indoor and outdoor use. If you do get one, throttle scale is necessary indoor, and I would find a way to secure the camera vibration dampener plate either by screw and nut, or zip tie. If you crash very hard, the camera plate (that has the silicone bobbins) can come right off the quad and its a bit of a pain to put back on! Keep us all updated how it goes

    We should do all that work when buying? Soldering, etc?

    • @PattyFlipz
      @PattyFlipz  9 месяцев назад

      Hi! No you don’t really need to. I only modified mine to fit my own system so I can fly it. I didn’t get to choose they just sent me what they had for review. If you choose the correct BNF system for your transmitter and goggles you shouldn’t need to solder anything. All you need to do is do some set up work through the computer etc.

      @ALEFA-ID you are using o3? Change it to WIDE mode and I think you shouldn’t be able to see it.

  • @ВикторКазаков-ц7й

    Why this wire antenna on the back if the signal receiver could be an o3 system with two antennas on the drone?

    • @PattyFlipz
      @PattyFlipz  9 месяцев назад +1

      Hi, the extra antenna is for a dedicated receiver I use. It’s a crossfire nano rx by team black sheep and I pair it with my tbs tango 2 transmitter. It has superior range (paired with the correct antenna of course) and stick gimbal feel (higher resolution) compared to the DJI controller 2. Newer pilots choose to use the DJI controller 2 because of its ease of use to pair with the o3 au, but there are some huge downsides. For example if you lose connection to your goggles, you will momentarily also lose control of your DJI transmitter. Using a dedicated receiver won’t have this issue, you might me able to rescue your quad and fly it home without the vtx connection. 👍

      @@PattyFlipz Is it possible to put a separate T receiver antenna with ERLS on this drone so that it works with DJI controller 2? Is there such a receiver? Or is it better to put a GPS so that the drone returns home if communication with o3 stops?

    • @PattyFlipz
      @PattyFlipz  9 месяцев назад +1

      @user-oh6bn6os6u oh I don’t think elrs can work with DJI controller 2. Elrs will use other transmitters like radio master or even my tango2 with the correct modules installed. To my understanding DJI controller 2 only communicates with DJI products such as the air unit. Yes best to put a gps unit. Unfortunately I can’t remember the exact behaviour of a failsafe event with o3 au and DJI controller and gps unit. Maybe there’s some videos online.

      Probably not. They fit very snug to the specified batteries. You will probably need to make a custom one and print it.
