Nice , just bought this quadcopter , i do wish flywoo would offer a strong power build with stronger motors 4s capable , 3in whoop and of course their 03 LITE tech . LIke i wish foxeer had dji 03 lite tech being they do have a strong power whoop . U would think all these companies would have literally all the options. I did however get Foxeer after like influencing them with logics to add Dji 03 to there 10in. BNF which they now have a option for for 2 weeks now . Mr. Captain Drone u for sure need to test the Dji Helion 10 soon too, i bought one of those of recent too but have not flown it yet but its sweet. And they now ship them out with betaflight 4.5 rc which has awesome return to home capability. Id also like to see more companies selling BNF"s that being AOS frame brand, Ummagawd frame brand, and so on. Five33 started selling bnf's and i bought a Footy 03 and its sweet as part of the tech is equalizing the vertical CG so roll and flip capabilities are faster and snappier which is why MCK loves that frame for freestyle. yea even though i am a union machinist and millwright for cleveland cliffs burns harbor does not mean i like building my own quadcopters, or working on them, or working on all my offroad racing rc's i have. Most of my time is working and relaxing in this Corrupt globalist anti american democrap joe biden era of time, when america becomes a true republic and america is put first finally when the current Continuity of government operation ends them i bet ill be way more motivated in relaxing less and enjoying my million worth of all kind of engine toys, guns, rc toys wayyyyyyyy more often then.

Captain Drone, Just purchased one in PNP version. I don’t see on betaflight for an option for Angle mode. I only see Horizontal and Air mode. I did watched your Episode 12, and try to add Angle mode on betaflight and was unsuccessful. What is your recommendation for rate settings for new drone pilot.

I got the Walksnail version with 1000mAh battery with the Insta360 GO 3 camera mount weighs 156 grams. From Hong Kong to the States took about 1 week to get. Fly,s real good cause of the great tune an getting about 3 & half minutes of flight time with the G03. As far as how loud well she is not quite but not scary loud , thinking Karen proof. The 1 bad thing I could say about this is the 3D printed battery holder, hard to swap from 750 to 1000 an the fit of after market batteries the Flywoo batteries fit good. Fly,s good inside an can handle the wind outside better then most. No JELLO camera mount thumbs up.

I can't get these to fit into the 1000 mAh tpu holder it comes with. I know the 750 comes installed on the drone. I pulled the 1000 mAh holder from the parts package it doesn't fit. The holder is about 4mm short in the width of the battery. Are those things supposed to be stretched like a rubber band? I would think they would snap if I tried that. What other options are there for mounting the batteries?

I have been flying with the Air Unit 1 and the DJI Remote Controller 1 (black). When buying this drone with the O3 system, is it better to choose the naked version or the regular one? Will the drone be ready to fly immediately? If I receive it with GPS, will it also be ready? What do you recommend for it: DJI Goggles 2 and DJI FPV Controller 2 or 3
I'm kind concern between the durability of the O3 unit lite vs the regular one. It's a drone that's I'm gonna hit a lot of time, maybe not too hard but several times 😆. It's better to get the full O3 unit?
I am new to fpv, I think I will go to digital rather than analog because I like to record good footage in goggle or onboard drone. I prefer Walksnail Avatar HD Goggle X to DJI Goggle 2 because very few tiny drones for DJI O3, but there are some good tiny drones for Walksnail. Regarding Walksnail, A. Betafov Meteor85 B. Flywoo Flylens85 A or B is recommended ? Other suggestion ? Idea ?
The original Walksnail records at 1080p with no stability and no micro SD card, so that is why it is in very small drones. It is up to the pilot to ad stabilization to the footage later.

If manual what settings work the best for low light.? I absolutely love the o3 with the googles 2 .it is amazing, but I have really been let down because I can't fly in low light . I like that you review hobby drones, but I don't really get this drone, is a bit large for flying indoors and has no soft bumper. And for out doors the it's a bit small, will probably be very sensitive to the wind.
@@Hexa8 ELRS is ELRS so if you get the ELRS pocket or the ELRS Zorro it is the same. Differences are physical. Zorro also comes in 4-in-1 version where the pocket does not.
Hi, I have a technical question. A few years back in one of your videos you covered not to take off from a metal surface with a drone. I don’t remember why, it could have something to do with the gps. I was wondering if that still applies today. With technology being what it is, is this still an issue? In simple terms I have not wasted my life in the hobby world by ONLY flying a drone but instead used my drone flying skills to apply that to flying RC planes, RC Helicopters, RC cars, RC boats, RC Tanks. My goal is to show Drone Pilots that they have the skills to branch out into other areas of the RC Hobby world.
You can get GPS rescue added at purchase, but I don’t think it is for you as you sound very new and are probably more thinking of a DJI beginner everything in a box drone where you fly and look at your phone.

FlyLens 85 HD O3 Lite 2S Brushless Whoop FPV Drone. With only 6 minutes of flight, virtually no range & always flown LOS or with special (FPV) goggles, no battery supplied & lacking all the important features of the DJI Mini 2 (safety, camera settings & more...), I would have to say FlyLens 85 HD O3 Lite 2S is not very attractive especially at $435 -$450! I paid substantially less for my DJI Mini 2...am I lucky?
@@chaoticadventure my suggestion is to do your research first in how to bind your goggles and whatever transmitter you wish to use. If sticking with DJI then this video may be of some assistance: CAPTAIN DRONE FPV FOR BEGINNERS EPISODE 12. Earlier episodes may also be helpful since you have the older goggles.

Why dosen't any make an led strip that has different colors for the back , front and maybe sides of the drone? definitely red for the back. That way one could fly line of sight much better because we could see the orientation of the quad better...
I think it works (but not 100%), but you have to reset your googles to the older version mode, just like you do when you fly a DJI Avata or DJI FPV or a DJI O3 (each of those need to be selected and goggles rebooted).

Thanks for sharing. Battery mounts are the twist on/off type. Push down & twist to remove and do the same to install.

Geprc Darkstar or the Newbie drone I recently reviewed. Filming with tiny FPV drones means you need the models with the DJI O3 camera.

After you bind the drone to your radio & goggles you need to setup switches in Betaflight Configurator as often they are not set.

This drone is more designed for filming and not so much for crashing

Only the Ready To Fly (RTF) beginner kits come with everything you need. Those kits are made by Sub250, GepRc, BetaFPV, Emax, etc

You can fly it indoors if you have the skills. Outdoors in wind it would feel the wind high up, but less so close to the ground.

Yup, it will mess up the GPS in the drone and cause a crash. Avoid metal.

With only 6 minutes of flight, virtually no range & always flown LOS or with special (FPV) goggles, no battery supplied & lacking all the important features of the DJI Mini 2 (safety, camera settings & more...), I would have to say FlyLens 85 HD O3 Lite 2S is not very attractive especially at $435 -$450!
I paid substantially less for my DJI Mini 2...am I lucky?

@@chaoticadventure my suggestion is to do your research first in how to bind your goggles and whatever transmitter you wish to use. If sticking with DJI then this video may be of some assistance: CAPTAIN DRONE FPV FOR BEGINNERS EPISODE 12. Earlier episodes may also be helpful since you have the older goggles.

Why dosen't any make an led strip that has different colors for the back , front and maybe sides of the drone? definitely red for the back. That way one could fly line of sight much better because we could see the orientation of the quad better...
Can somebody confirm, if WASP doesn't work with latest Dji Goggles 2?
I think it works (but not 100%), but you have to reset your googles to the older version mode, just like you do when you fly a DJI Avata or DJI FPV or a DJI O3 (each of those need to be selected and goggles rebooted).
