We made this with our friends over at Riot, they have more guides made with us ready to watch now if you speak Spanish :D -> ruclips.net/channel/UCmvoPMHe9l0ytr9ONu5-1vw
10:48 u hv yorick instead of yummi not that it matters
Heyy i got a challange for hector
Play yuumi support in plat SOLOQ!!!
@@user-mf7li2eb1o fam he played yuumi top and won.
Again skillcapped guys : there is no such thing as 2 ppl "parallel to a 3rd one". 2 ppl can only be parallel to 2 other ppl. What u mean obviously is "equidistant" to a 3rd one, not "parallel". So yeah, Karma and Varus were equidistant to Aphelios. Nami and Aphelios were equidistant to Varus.
With Riot? That's pretty cool that you guys get noticed by Riot, I think your guides are really good quality though they always tempt me to go queue up after watching haha
10:48 Senna - Yorick seems fun to play lol
yeah
how did they fuck it up that hard haha
@@mccninja_ new yuumi skin
@@mccninja_ I imagine a terrible handwrite to make someone confuse Yumi with Yoric, rsrsrs
YEEH
Didn't know yuumi has a new Skin which looks like Yorick.
much better looking yummi !! hahhaha
I was like wtf is a senna yorick lane 😆
I was wondering wtf u talking about then i saw it xdd
Paused and scrolled down as soon as I saw that; comments did not disappoint
@@mikeparker8760 yeah i know yorick zilean lane but not this lane
10:49 damn Yuumi lookin a little strange
all thick no dummy - it's shovel time meow
seems like we have all seen that xD
Out of all of the botlane videos, this is definitely one of the best videos for helping botlaner game knowledge.
I'm afraid this video will make alot af ADC's stop pushing for lvl 2 with an engage support, yikes..
@@GrowOrPayG They often need to. If the enemy has a ranged support and they play level 1 properly, contesting level 2 without significant damage on the support is extremely difficult. Playing for 3 on the bounce-back is significantly more consistent, and the level 2 spike isn't as scary if you're playing around it
Yes! It's ALWAYS the bad support... never the ADC who's doing mistakes too :
Ah yes the good old undertaker Yummy.
Yuumick
lol that was funny.
Ranged Supports:
- Push / Minion advantage for less enemy cover
- Deep wards if possible
- Parallel positioning
Melee Supports:
- Maintain health for engages
- Wave control
- Until level 1 you are basically alone
best thing about being a jungler is that all skillcap videos are beneifical!
:D Its always jungles fault, ADC noob, mid noob, top noob, JUNGLE FAULT! :D
@@proplayersclips8267 that's just for yasuo jungle since it's easy to flame :kekw:
Best thing about jungle is that the queue times are short
I think this is true for every lane. I play bot lane and I watched all the other lane guides before this one and understand way more than before. As an Ashe player, I found it hard to know where to E, but now, knowing the pathing/leashing of junglers and that mid laners roam and when they are most likely to roam and why, I think I will use my E more correctly now
I think breaking supports down further into poke and support mages is very important as a xerath and janna call for very different adc styles
Finnaly a tutorial how to make a gameplan TYYYYY
MORE VIDS LIKE THIS PLS
This is what they should be teaching. Get players to think about having a game plan in general! Don’t just react to situations happening on the rift. You need to be thinking 1-3 moves ahead!
I was in plat 3 and I got flamed by a jihn for being "a useless leona"
I mean I agree with him. I was useless that entire game because he pushed all the waves under the enemy tower. I cant dive every time during the laning phase when the enemy is standing behind the tower, I'll just die
Even as an adc main, I felt that
That's when you just roam. Good thing is when you come back the wave will be at your tower because the jhin will have to back off
@@Juslin7989 I always try to roam and im at plat
But for some reason, the adc never gets the memo and always tries to push tower
while i strongly believe you can get to at least diamond with skill only, seeing so many adc’s refuse to learn wave management especially plat+ makes me cringe
This is a solid video and def one of the better ones I’ve seen… gj to all those involved and plz make more like this for other lanes… having a strategy and knowing what to do it important in this game
i love how when you put the archetip list of all the supports bard isnt there :D
He was roaming to mid when they did attendance
Neither was soraka
14:44 although yes jinx should have prioritized shoving, I feel like alistar further escalated the situation by headbutting Jhin towards a low hp, flashless jinx. Taking an already unfavorable situation and making it worse. Regardless i understand its not the main focus and thank you for the video it gave lots of perspective.
he saw an opportunity for a kill, his fault is that he overestimated the jinx, which does not know how to position and play through a support. they are not in same lvl
i learned a lot, thanks!.
TOP : let me introduce my tp.
As someone who plays ranged supports, I found this video extremely helpful. I've mostly known these things already, but I'm not very consistent when it comes to applying them, especially the deep wards (I usually place my ward a bit further up over the first river brush, which is not always enough).
And I definitely hope that a lot of ADC players will see this, since it's kind of a coinflip if I'll get an ADC that pushes up so I can be oppressive with my Senna harass or Bard roams, or if they'll just let the enemy push with a big wave that makes hitting Bard stuns mission impossible while also leaving me vulnerable to engages.
U play senna support. I hope Ur dad leaves u
As I further my game knowledge, I start noticing how important this video actually is
thank you for this guide. hopefully my gameplay with adc will improve a bit and get a better mindset
thanks a lot for this guide! Helps a ton
Quite awesome insights thx guyz!
hands down one of the best botlane guides from you guys! Please cover a guide on when & how to split push as an adc! TIA!
5:12
Also, this was a perfect gap to place a ward. There was only 3 caster minions, he wouldn't miss cs and he is not exploiting the time gap for the waves to crash.
thanks you so much, I've been staying away from playing adx because i always struggled knang the matchups!
14:48 Yuumi has evolved, no jokes anymore.
Thanks A lot for this video,it helped me understand a lot of matchups and eventually winning more games.Even my supps become useful
This is what I needed honesty! I struggle with pairing well with my ADC and we never play together when I want to engage and such because they toke too much damage during lvl2-3 phase. Thank you guys for this video!
I'm an adc main and tbh I just safe all my long coldown abilities for my support to start the engange. is this good or does this make it harder for the support player ?
@@lupm7025 depends. if you're a caitlyn vs a vayne and you're saving all your cds at level one for like a leona level two spike, you're trolling. you could getting uncontestable damage to make the all in that much more threatening at level 1 which could solo win your lane. by the same note, if it's a vayne + yuumi lane then going to ability poke is just trolling because she can heal the vayne all the poke and you take free counter damage from two people if she just walks at you or tumbles. you have to be confident in your champion and what you can do freely and what you can't which takes time. I also recommend one tricking one adc through until at least plat so you can focus solely on matchups/macro (i recommend miss fortune as a pocket pick if banned and ezreal, jhin, or lethality sivir as a onetrick for low elo)
@@biggiecheese2004 thx that's actually much more then I expected to get as an reply here. I will follow ur advice thx m8
I love you videos I always learn from them. Sadly I can't afford coaching so don't ask me to do that lol. I applied what I learned to my games as adc and my last 3 games so far I have dominated so hard I only came back to this video to really approve of your teaching methods. Anyone that can and wants to learn should use your services I can guarantee players will improve from them.
As a top main turned jungle main (because all the junglers in my games sucked so hard) now learning to adc (because no matter what I always get flamed as jungler don't know why XD) I realized that you can't apply what you do in one position to the others but you can learn to work with your team better. These videos are great for teaching someone how to do that.
That's a great guide ! Thanks a lot !
I love dropping deep vision as support, it helps both mid, jungle a my adc. However, each time I do my adc continues to push by himself and dies because he can't play safe for 5 sec.
It's because you are doing at a bad time , if you wanna ward deep you should push the wave first under their tower. This way your adc is forced to either recall or roam with you to put deep wards . Another thing to know is deep wards are so risky and im sure that you die alot trying to do that. Just drop wards that can give u info on the jungler when coming instead of deeply warding it (deep wards are more useful in late game when you have allies around u to go deep and when the plays happen in the jungle more than in lane )
@@SafeHeavxn Don't ward deep in early game , just ward in the edge of the bush to get maximum of vision. If you want to learn more then I suggest "Doglightning". He got a playlist called "How to support series" which will teach you amazing thing I guarantee it . Another interesting series to watch is CoreJJ guide on support which is also very informative. Another thing I can advice you to think about is how ADC actually is played. Try playing some games as ADC and you will understand better your role as a support. League is a complex game with an endless list of things to learn. Learn skills one by one and don't try to learn from multiple resources on multiple subjects at the same time. Hope this helps.
@@SafeHeavxn wish you best of luck in ur journey
Probably the best guide you made. This type of guide is what you should be making.

You are so damn useful, thank you so much for all your work!
Wow this is really helpful thanks so much
This video is a gem. Thank you for it.
10:48 I love the new skin they made for yuumi.
One of the best things I've seen for bot lane players. Great job
This the best botlane guide I've watched on this account
best guide I've seen so far for adc :)
10:47 - That's one menacing looking Yuumi... someone forgot to fill the bowl
awsome guide
10:50 - Yuumi got new skin! Undead Yuumi!
great video🥰🤘🏻
would also be nice to go through it from the supports point of view
Love the comparison between the correct ones and the wrong ones
Whitelotus and Ackerman. loved the LLA Infinity examples.
This is by far the most in depth and useful video this channel has release so far! I am actually glad I watched it, it helped me so much
EXACTLY WHAT I NEED. PERFECT
I mean, the knowledge was amazing, but it only served for me to know why my enemies where winning... as an ADC was very hard to play with supports with just skills in the champions... like Rakan not using his power spike and playing behind only stepping up to get a siege minion... I still don't know what to do when they have range supports and have more waveclear because they just get the range advantage easily (even though i had a range support)
Getting pushed in a range vs range matchup because you have a worse adc to control the wave than the enemy: you try to keep the wave in the safe zone, dont trade when the enemy does have more minions, trade when one of them is misspositioned -> slowly gain control over lower enemy HP than yours
really good video overall, but i think the last segment is a bit confusing. the whole section on engage supports was taking about the importance of keeping your hp high until level 2 or 3 with melee supports even if it means giving up cs vs double ranged lanes, which usually means letting the enemy push. but then, the last section that was theoretically an example of that was two examples of the melee support lane getting the push advantage
I think the point is that at level 1, whichever case, you want to “push” the lane because you want to get to level 2 first. That’s the most important thing at the start. After that you can apply the strategy as explained; and at the end it does say that pushing the wave under turret lv1/2 is in order to have the wave bounce back into your turret so you can play from under it.
At 8:30 when varus was aiming at the support, some players do this as a threat or bait, then turn on the other champ
Awesome video!
I'd split it into 4 categories, Melee: Wardens and Vangards, Ranged: Enchanters and Mages.
The difference is crusial, as example with Vangards vs Enchanters, you'd like the wave at your tower, but with Vangards vs Mages you're loosing way to much health and can't engage if they're poking and pushing you under tower.
If you split it into 2 categories i'd much rather call it Proactive(Vangards/Mages) and Reactionary(Wardens/Enchanters) supports.
There can be added more categories like Catcher, Controler and more, but i think the 4 named categories are the most prominent with the simpler playstyle.
OMG, as a Morg/Nami support main, thank you...
Can you do this for mid as well?
The whole "just ward" thing gives me PTSD... I can't recount how often I ping my ADC, that my trinket is on cooldown and that he should ward, if we want to push...
This video was VERY good.
This knowledge is game changing
How do you play if ur on aphelios an they have an engage supp but your one does nothing (morgana)
yo i think u should put a list on the end of each video listing down ur points in short
Thanks
10:50 Ah yes. Yuumi, my favorite gravedigger
Most of the points you have explained are questions that I wasn't able to answer alone
As a support main, this was informative
10:47 thats a strange yummi picture :D
since tresh is melee ?
10:47 Nice Yuumi bro
As a Pyke support onetrick I highly suggest ADC players to do these things consistently, it makes the game so much easier to play
I promise we try, but especially in very low elo even farming is hard enough XD
Should've mentioned that this information goes for both adcs and supports, cause sometimes supports forget they have auto attacks to manage the wave when their adc can't do it properly.
When I try to help my ADCs immediately ping retreat or say "No" in chat. They don't trust that the support won't last hit
then your adc will afk after you get 1 or 2 cs.
@@danielope3755 as a main Sivir and Tristana, supports hitting the minions can be tilting. As Sivir I can always manage the wave, and with Tristana's explosion, csing can quickly become very difficult if the support gets involved
@@Pirantsable it just means you are bad. wave management is much more important then cs. it`s better to miss a 1-2 random cs and get a fast 3 wave crash then allow the wave to be in awkward spot where you cant either freeze or push.
most adc after failing to utilize the lvl2 advantage with a support are unable to recognise the importance of crashing the canon wave asap.
and what they end up is basicly a freeze for enemy that they created themself.
and a situation where support cant leave, and an enemy jungle has the best place to gank you.
@@voidsword8095 I just talked about managing the wave as Sivir you dumbass.
You probably never seen that champ in iron IV, but she clears faster than any other adc in the game and doesn't need the support's help at all for that. Better focus on zoning the enemy botlane instead of awkwardly taking the CS when a caster adc is pushing
There’s some melee supports that becomes strong at level 1, rather than 2… Pyke, Rakan and Pantheonfpr example. All Having extremely reliable level 1s.
I hope some of the ADCs out there will learn these basics, I hope it soooo much
The yasuo Adc’s never learn
Well, don't think I've thought about it like that before
how do you play yuumi?
Damnnnnn this video was awesome im sure i will win more now thx
I remember back in the old days where yorick was actually a legitimate counter pick support against blitz because u could just summon ghouls in front of hooks
now its more often heimerdonger
me and my friend recently started playing for the first time. by far the most annoying thing for me as a beginner is matchup knowledge. theres so many champions in this game most of the time i dont know what the hell im up against. am i going to get instantly killed from half health by an ability ive never seen before or rooted from beyond the range of any of my abilities?
10:50 Yuumi has been working out
Senna + Yuumi showing Yorick xD 10:48
Would be cool if they change minion dematerializer into minion materializer and give you instead 3 charge to update you cs make cannon turn into super minion.
10:49 hey look it's yorick!
As a kaisa main, the kaisa alistar into MF thresh hurt my eyes. You gotta know your range if you want to survive the laning phase.
I wish every adc ive ever played with could watch this video
Got destroyed by a Xerath support yesterday so I needed this.
despite being target to adc, I understood a lot about how to play support. Thanks
What if the enemies are playing morg and cait and i am playing samira with morg. I should let them push but they also want to push so we both benefit. who will win?
I would let the wave crash and thin it if I need to as Caitlynn has an easier time taking trades. Since the enemy is pushed up you can look for opportunities to take trades whether if it is through the enemies mispositioning, a jg gank, or your level 6 spike as Samira has a better engage at that point.
how do you deal with engage supports if your support is ranged? we have to learn the opposite way too
Best I can think of is freezing. Make sure they can't reset the lane and stand in a way impossible for them to engage without standing inside your turret. Sure, they could try to set up a dive, but that will most likely go wrong in anything below plat
it's more than this, like if you're against a zyra you got to heep distance as she hits level 2 cause she gonna poke you out of lane, how ever if you have leona,Alistair or rell(and only these 3) then you wanna bait her to over extend and go on her cause she still doesn't have E. you don't have to know every combination of bot lane duo, yet you need to know every champ.
How is it that fucking possible that 15 mins of this video gave me more information than 5 years of soloq
XD
What if u support pushed level 1?
6:55 nah this doesnt work in low elo. when i go to them te reposition they go even further behind until they are under the tower
9:52 what's that weird revolving sound in the background?
Do the same video for the support
@14:15 why is the alistar lane pushing for level 2 vs thresh when you said in a previous clip that when alistar vs thresh, he should back off since thresh's ranged autos chunk him.
jinx heavily out pushes jhin in the first few levels, its not on the supp to push for level 2 it really depends on how much pushing power your adc has early on. a sivir will almost always be able to hit 2 first against something like a vayne, no matter the support.
also because thats how it works in paper if you oponent dont punish you then you can make whatever you want with the lane
this video is a game changer
10:50 damn yuumi doesnt look the way I remember her looking lol
10:47: senna yuumi... but the picture is from yorick xD
just as an extra, you can transfer those support knowledge to all other lanes because you know jg timing, melee preserve hp for top and so enchanters for mid. This is why I dislike a lot ppl who think support is the easiest role when you have to adapt to all situations and being versatile in terms of skills, knowledge and macro.
Wacho creo que voy a llorar, al chile nunca supe como jugar bien tank ya que en su mayoría jugaba con enchanters así que me costaba un webo aguantar linea pero con esta guia me hago una idea de lo que estaba haciendo mal, njdas gracias
Whats the annoying sound in bg?
Why isnt the support pushing too?
Felt like an hour long to watch nice vid
10:45 def a senna yuumi
