I don't think she expected him in this comment. It was for Tywin. I think he was already a very unexpected boss to kill, for her. The Night King, I wonder if she even knew about him at that point.
I loved every scene Arya had with Tywin.
They didn't have many, but they left a mark on all of us.
These were the scenes that made me fell in love with this show.
They almost made me fall in love with Tywin. But it is hard to forget what he is.
I absolutely love the scenes between Arya and Tywin, they are so intense and somehow the speak on one level to each other... great job from both of them
Watching the previous scenes of previous seasons , I just think.. How strong the dialogues were then in those days ❤️
Then indeed were
maisie williams is such a great actress
She is epic
She was already such a superbe actress at that age. Her eyeplay, her abbility of expression is beyond great
She is epic
Arya was my favourite character because of moments like this.
"Anyone can be killed."
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! 8O
tywin's body language, smiling at times, imperious, sly cunning... it's awesome to behold. those glassy blue/grey eyes are chilling.
Myopia for the most part. But it is indeed convincing.
Rewatching this. The music transition when Arya describes Robb gives me chills everytime.
Nice one. I didn't realize that. I have to observe that again.
This scene is just perfect, the performances, the camera work, the light and shadows. Who cares if this isn´t in the book, this show is amazing and i love all this little bits of originality.
Everything about this scene, the lines, the acting everything is spot on.... just love it!!!
Tywin: They say all that about Robb Stark?! All my people say about me is that I shit gold. Obviously, we need to work on our propaganda!
It's a damn shame we don't get scenes like this anymore. A few words were able to instill so much tension.
The "Stark theme song" that starts playing when Arya talks about Robb...*teardrop*
nasiphi nyathela true
I'm tempted to watch the first seasons just for this man, but then I remember season 8 happened.
lol, indeed
Their scenes together were AWESOME. Just...AWESOME.
And this scene alone is better than Season 7-8 combined
It's a D&D original, not in the books. Oh but BAD WRITERS durrr
@@spacecase8888 They had more than enough material to influence them, and GRRM was far more cooperating during those stages. Let me remind you that one of those writers wrote X-Men Origins.
@@augustoalvarez6766 Worst, one of those writers wrote Troy.
That music when she talks about her brother bringy tears to my eyes every time I watch.
You are the second person here to talk about the music. I did not pay attention to that. I will have to watch the show again, lol.
Anyone can be killed, except every character with massive plot armor, including arya.
Including Tywin at that moment. She was close enough. She could have. She didn't, because the plot would have changed too much.
All exchanges between them both is gold. Finest moments of this entire series.. I literally tear up when I remember last couple seasons.
GODS THIS SHOW WAS STRONG THEN!
The stare off between them two is amazing
These scenes are much better than the entire 8th season...!
We should get together and write another version of 8th season, lol
damn that stare after anyone can be killed is lit
The best scenes from game of thrones are with these two...🔥🔥🔥
This episode with Arya and Tywin going back and forth was one of the best
"Any one can be killed". She fucking proved it.
She did.
Sometimes it really felt like Tywin knew who she was, but he saw himself in her, and so chose to let her live.
Tywin was just trying to make a point with Arya's dialog with him but instead he sensed something wrong at the end.
She was supposed to talk of her family. Then he felt like perhaps the last comment wanted to go beyond that. He wasn't going to let that happen, lol.
The acting is so good. It's like you are really there and this is really happening.
"Anyone can be killed"
Night King: "WHAT?!"
Loved the conversations between these two.
This scene has to be one of the best acted, best written on TV
Lol no
Both of these actors are obviously epic here. ^^
@@cathair9295 yes
This is some foreshadowing of Arya’s training as no one, since Tywin tells her to be more convincing
These scenes between Arya and Tywin are some of my favorite in the whole show. It's cat and mouse, he senses there's more to her than meets the eye so she has to stay one step ahead and conceal who she is. And at the same time he likes her, and respects her, and I think she even likes him a little, even as she plots his death.
She did like him a little, although he was the enemy.
I didn't appreciate anything I watched the first time I saw it. Only now rewatching scenes like this one do I understand how brilliant this show is.
The first time, Season 1 seemed like a bore to me. "Nothing ever happens in this show", I said. LOL.
Arya: Anyone can be killed
(Cuts to Sam holding off the whites in season 8)
In this scene apart from acting direction and editing is also 👍very very good.
I LOVE THIS SCENE. ARYA IS SUCH A BADASS!!!
The North remembers.
Arya stark and Lord tywin both are very intelligent person.. they both admired each other.. lord tywin was very impressed with Arya stark's knowledge
He saw a little Tywin right there. "She is like me". But she wasn't. She was colder. And meaner.
Anyone can be killed, except when they have Plot Armor, ain't that right, Arya
She has plot armor so thick that even dragons fire couldnt touch her
"Not wine, Water. We'll be here for some time.." He was an absolute leader when it was time to get to business. He wont tolerate anyone discussing business while not in the right mind.
This young woman is an amazing actress
This scene is so well written and acted that I'm pretty sure you could show it to someone who has never seen the show, without any context beforehand, and they could figure out the plot and the relationships between the characters. All in a minute and a half. Brilliant
Figure out the plot, I wonder. In this scene, they seem almost like allies.
Watch this Season 2 scene - poetry and class - then immediately watch just about any Season 8 scene if you don't understand the outcry by fans ... this will show you exactly how D & D sold out and rushed the final season to move on to other projects.
I wansnt mad per say. I could see what they where trying to do but just rushed it at the end. Could have been a great ending. What could have been
@@taylorkennedy7205 They did a great job. Epic in all areas. Standards were very high and execution was stellar. But they should have known dropping the bar at the end would not go over well.
@@sergebertani1640 im not throwing a fit or anything. Just wish it would have been just a little longer to flush out what they wanted to show. I think the normal 10 episodes could have done it.
They certainly did
His face when she says anyone can be killed. The underplay is enormous
Arya Stark literally learned the art of war from the most brave, strong, loyal, sinister, skilled and mysterious warriors of her time. They in turn learned she's not to be F'd with...
Iconic
Greatly said. And indeed.
One of my favourite scenes .
epic fucking scene !!!
when the stark theme starts to play when robb is mentioned i get goosebumps
That look Tywin gives after Arya says "anyone can be killed," seems to suggest that's when he realised he needed to put forward a plot to kill Robb Stark.
OMG. I think you're right.
The on-screen chemistry between Tywin and Arya was just insanely good. Loved these scenes.
I hope they play together in something again.
