Haha, I would be say happy if Eda drank my version of it. I did get to tell some of the cast and Dana about it in person and they sounded like they approved too.
It's canon but in the following MoringMark comic it shows Eda's Apple Blood is only 5% alcohol which is considered "weak" by Camila who introduces Eda to hard liquor moringmark.tumblr.com/post/718751881762045952 Camila offers Eda what I assume is either vodka or tequila with 40%-50% alcohol which Eda obviously can't handle lol
@@LetAnimesCook It tequila because of the lime, but you and know the know the rules about canon; unless the creator says so its fanfiction, but it's still good comic. Morningmark should do Invader Zim comics
I took inspiration from the jelly drinks I had in Japan when coming up with the recipe. Thought it should be a nice viscous drink for fans and myself to enjoy, like the residents of the Boiling Isles do, exactly as you said.
Cranberry jelly... not clicks for me. If i making i think i'll use thick whole apple juice and add some aronia juice for color. And let it ferment for an alcoholic version

Luz: You mean apple juice.
Eda: No.
Haha, Eda is a hardcore morning drinker.
Eda approves this

This is adorible, absolutly saving this for my birthday!!
Hope you enjoy it & have a most Hoot-tastic Birthday, HOOT!
It would be really funny if it turned out the apple blood was actually cider and Eda can't handle alcohol.

This is actually the real recipe! (I should know)
Omg it's hooty :o
OMG, HOOTY!
I would recommend cran-apple juice as a substitute ingredient. It maintains the red color, while adding a more apple-y taste!
That's a great suggestion!
I am excited to try this next month, and likely will have it again, please keep the video up!
Awesome! Hope you enjoy making it and drinking it too. Look forward to more from us!
This video keeps popping up on my reccomendations recently so I had to give it a watch
It looks so good and tasty! Good job!!
Thanks for watching! It is tasty. Hope you get a chance to make it and drink it too.
Apple blood, pours cranberry juice 😂
I think it’s for color tbh
Haha, got to get the color and some flavor from this fantasy Boiling Isle drink with our reality substitutions.
Yep!
Cute! I do love this quite a lot :)
Thank you! Happy you liked it.
YOOO LETS GOOOO
YES!!
Where did you get the glasses?? They are aweome.
The drink glasses were from Daiso!
This is so COOL❤
The idea of jelly drink is very unique. And i think it adds some boiling islands vibes
Glad you liked it!

Not a problem! Like how I made a variation of the original recipe Dana provided you can too. If you make it let us know how you like it.
Gelatine???? That sounds disgusting to drink
Think of it like looser Jello. It's a common drink in Japan too.
@@LetAnimesCook you could probably also use pectin for this to make a vegetarian version!
@@sophisticatedPJs That's correct! Pectin or agar agar.
