Do your units have a small "nub" on the bottom edge of the plastic piece on the top of the back pad (the part with the slots for the hooks and a single staple at the bottom holding on some internal upholstery), almost like an injection mould mark? I recently purchased one locally and I can feel it digging into my back when I recline, so I took the back pad off and found that that top "flap" in the back pad has some residual plastic there and almost a slight W shape. (Not the lumbar piece, the plastic in the back pad itself.)

If you want to send photos to Contact@crandalloffice.com we will be able to identify if that is a common mark or a rarity.
@@CrandallOfficeFurniture Will do, thank you.
