I hate the headrest.. It, like most car headrests, forces a forward-head posture, which puts stress on the cervical and thoracic spine and then subsequently the lumbar as well to compensate. I'm within the height recommendations, too; right in the middle. 😮‍💨 I modified mine to help, but I wish it were easier to remove and that ETSY had a 3D printed plug for the hole left afterward.

Word of warning for anyone with cats! If you see them eyeing your beautiful new navy bioknit chair, kick them out of the room! I sadly have a couple snags now. BUT the fabric held up well - no runs or holes, just the little snag. As a person who has always gone with mesh back chairs, I don’t get hot at all!

I bought a remanufactured-by-Crandall Amia about a year and a half ago, and the squeaks have been driving me bonkers! To the point where I would mute myself in calls if I needed to adjust my chair. I know a lot of others are suggesting some other options for fixing their squeaks. But this video's solution was the fix that I needed. The only two problems I had: 1. Taking the seat off. The video on how to take the seat off of the Leap made it look so easy, but that was not my experience with the Amia. First of all, I couldn't use a long flat-head screwdriver - I needed to use a Phillips screwdriver. This was because other things (plastic dust covers and the base of the chair back) were blocking the screwdriver from getting the leverage it needed to push the white plastic button up enough. Even with the Phillips screwdriver, I had difficulty. I needed 2 hands to push the button up far enough while somebody else pulled the seat off. 2. The mess. If you do this, absolutely put a towel under the seat to catch everything that sprays/drips down. They didn't do this in the video, but it was absolutely a problem. I suspected it might be so I at least did it on a surface that was easy to clean. But DO NOT do this on carpet or something difficult to clean!!

Debating between getting the peat brisa and English toffee standard vinyl on a V2 leap. Which one is going to show scratches and scuffs less if you have cats jumping on and off the chair occasionally? I know it's 300k vs 50k double rubs, but does that mean the material will be more resistant to showing all kinds of wear? They both look so good, it's a hard choice!

I’ve have had the Herman Miller embody gaming chair for a year now and sooner or later it will get close to two years now, but I always had a love-hate relationship with it. I love it because of looks and the back sort of “forms” with your body and being able to move freely. There was just a lot that I loved from this chair. However, one main issue I had with the chair was, it would always poke my lower back area and it would make my lower back uncomfortable. I was hoping this would change after using it for some time but I still have the issue. Is there any chair you’d recommend? At this point I think sadly the embody is not my chair. Not a bad chair, I guess my body doesn’t like it and I really wanted to like it.. :(

Self braking are annoying when trying to roll a chair around a room you have to either carry the chair or sit in it so you don't damage the floor.

this just helped me a couple of minutes ago, my base was sharp as blade and it kept injuring anyone who sat on the chair (LOL). had to knock it off today to get a replacement thanks buddy.

My chair just came in and this is the video i found on how to set it up. First impression is very nice build quality, no rattle while jumping around on it. I like how low the chair can go, because of my low desk sitting at 60cm from the ground the hand rest is completely safe to go under it! The only drawback of this chair is it feels a bit hard on my bottom since I'm skinny guy.

I was thinking meah over fabric since i tend to eat at my desk sometimes. I didnt know the karman had "fluff" in the mesh. Do you think it would be easy to clean like the aeron?

any idea how to adjust "up down " movement on aeron chairs? there is No set/adjustment hex screw, the adjustment cable goes from adjustment handle and cliks into gas cylinder . before i throw into garbage can , Do you sell replacement Up Down cable for B sized Aeron chair?

installed new cylinder and it is stuck in up position , cannot find any adjustment for side activated model, ordered second cylinder and same problem , is there adjustment for up down ? thanks jm jan 28/25

hello great tips! only issue i have is my lumbar support isnt like that its like 2 pads one above the other that doesnt seem to be adjustable which is annoying and if it is i have no idea how to do it any help?

My AERON chair (2005 year) cylinder got a small metal pin at the small end. Can I replace the old cylinder with a cylinder with a square white plastic tip at the small end (similar to yours in the video) instead of a small metal pin? The plastic tip seems taller than the metal pin and may affect the set screw setting, does the plastic height damage the screw set assembly and will adjusting the set screw compensate for that extra height? Thanks.

Would you say that this is the most breathable fabric option that you offer?

Is the leap chair shown in this video have the base leap backrest or the extra foam version that you guys recently started selling? And Is the old foam version still using the same foam it had, or is it different foam but same thickness? I’m torn between keeping the same thickness on the back pad or upgrading to the more thick version. Since I don’t think I’ve seen people complain about how thick the foam back pad is, I’m leaning towards no upgrade.

Very helpful... this video correctly shows how to register the bracket so the two different length bolts align properly... the outtakes at the end reveal the reality... a little fenagling to get it right, but worth it! I'm glad I bought this and glad I found this video to help make the installation straight forward. I am using this headrest to effectively relieve the stress in my upper neck when leaning back. 100% quality, rock-solid build worth the relatively high price tag!
