I’ll be honest, I really do love how thick the current back is. That being said I’m glad you were able to improve on the design. Hope everyone loves it!
Appreciate your comments - I don't disagree, I thought the original was pretty comfy, but it was definitely a bit thicker than what we intended, so and we are very happy with the updated redesign :)
Can we just order a back without the seat? I don't need a whole reupholstered seat, but would love the upgraded back! I have an OEM thin back from y'all.
Will do, should get here tomorrow! Can't wait for the headrests to become avaliable as well, checking every day for updates. Any idea on what the upcharge will be to reupholster those to the micro suede option to match the chair?
While the headrest is still in development and we've encountered a few small hiccups, we're aiming for a release in early 2025. The current price will be $189.
Would it be possible to have a US Freight shipper send your thicker seat pad to another country? International shipping would be great. The leap v2 is a great chair, the only thing that sucks for me when I was using it was that thin seat pad. (nightmare on the tailbone)
Hi Crandall Office, I regrettably ordered a black v2 leap on your Amazon page at the end of December before realizing your website had more customization options. The package left Michigan on Jan 2. Do you know what back pad it will be arriving with?
All Amazon orders include the standard OEM back pad. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us at contact@crandalloffice.com. We'll do our best to assist you. Thank you, and have a great day!
Man, what is going on with the AtlasXCrandall headrest for this chair…. It was announced so long and it’s yet to be available. Been waiting for this release cause no way I’m trying any other manufacturer headrest for this chair.
If you'd like to swap it out, reach out to our team - if you previously ordered a chair or upholstery with the original thicker back, provide your order number we've got a special discount for you to make the swap.
If you haven't already please reach out to our customer service team via email to contact@crandalloffice.com or you can call us directly at 616-682-0110 from 8pm-4pm Mon-Thurs and we will be able to help you out.
If you placed it 4 hours ago, and selected the thicker back pad option, this newer pad is what you will get - we've been shipping chairs with them for a few days now already :)
@@daganalcala1939 I’ve only had the chair for like two weeks now, but it seems pretty good. I haven’t noticed any back pain, when with my old chair I had a decent amount of pain, and I sit in this chair for at least 8 hours a day. Idk what the normal back pad feels like, but I’d say it’s worth spending the extra $30 for the thicker pad since I haven’t felt any pain.
Not necessarily, if it's too thick the lumbar support might not be reaching your back correctly or you could not be getting enough support when shifting in the chair. It's good to be padded but the back doesn't need as much padding as the seat.
@ I have ordered one with the redesigned back pad. They have a bit of a wait time right now but I'll know exactly how I feel about it in about a month!
Since you guys don't ship outside of the country, it would be nice if you could at least ship the backpad and seatpad abroad. That would make it less complicated for you and cheaper for the potential buyer. Just food for thought.

When did these start in production? I ordered a remanufactured V2 that arrived just before Thanksgiving - does it have the newer pad?
I just ordered the Amia! Contemplating the Leap 1 or 2 for my son.
We got you!
@@CrandallOfficeFurniture I received my chair. It's like Brand new. Love it!
Placed my order on the 14th, shipped about 3 days ago. Opted for the extra padded back. Will that be the old version or the redesign?
Man, right on the edge on that one - shoot us an email with a few pictures once you receive it.

wondering if the new headrest is still in the works? and an estimated price?

@CrandallOfficeFurniture sick thanks for the response, put the order in for a bionit wine leap v2 a couple days ago can't wait 🙌
For clarification, when ordering you still need to get the upgraded back foam in order to get this, correct?
Yes that is correct.

At the moment, we do not offer overseas shipping. While we're always exploring options for the future, it's not expected to be available soon.

I placed an order for a remanufactured Leap v2 on November 26th. Will it have the new backpad?
If your chair has not shipped yet, and you selected the thicker back pad option on for your chair, then it will have the newer style :)
I placed an order on friday 22, will mychair include this new back pad? 🙏

They posted a short just 2 days ago.
Hopefully soon! Here is an update ruclips.net/user/shortsSPRry0gb4j4
@@CrandallOfficeFurniture We are now in February still no headrest. Is this still going to be a thing or nah?
I assume customers who already got the thick back pad will have to purchase a new back pad. Is that correct?

Yes! If you ordered the thicker back pad.
What are your thoughts on the new thicker backpad?

Looks like the redesigned back pad is less comfortable. It has to be if it’s thinner right?
its thinner than the old version they had , but not thinner than OEM
