Another great video Blase! QQ: I recently picked up the Sigma 18-35 during BF sale (with updated Fringer 3). Using it on my XH2s, it seems to be very clicky and noisy, making crunching grindy sounds. I thought something was wrong with my copy, only to find vids stating the same. I plan to use for video only. Would you happen to have best practices on camera settings best suited for this lens as you've tested? Namely focus settings when shooting log, etc. If someone were to do a super comprehensive video on that specific camera, being as though it's Fuji's flagship, I'd imagine it'd be a pretty popular video. Most of the vids of this camera are like a year old. It'd be interesting to see an updated video. Thanks again for sharing your excellent work and knowledge!
Thanks! Mine def has some click but have never heard anything that sounds like grinding or crunching. I have a whole video on XH2S best settings as well as a ton of recommendations in my long term review!
@@blasepivovar I may have been exaggerating on the grinding and crunching part 😂 but yes it’s a pretty busy lens when trying to keep focus. I did purchase the Fringer latest adapter, and it seems to not activate the lens sometimes, not sure if that’s just a hazard of adapting lenses.
Haha all good. And hmm yeah I don't seem to have any regular AF issues with mine so maybe it's the new adapter? not sure what would be making it busy if you have your settings set up right@@bywayofnewyork

Just my usual - 4K, H265, 200Mbps, LONG GOP 10 BIT 422, and F-LOG 2 :)
