Soooo true, I hate the knife being slow when your weapon is out of ammo. Also lore wise, I think someone becomes a zombie after they are deceased, even the MWZ trailer it showed the dead people rise, due to how Element 115 works in the Aether storyline and same logic for Aetherium in Dark Aether storyline.

Richtofen even though isn't like a Nazi affiliate may share some of their views in some regards and wasn't against building them weapons(he was upset that Maxis didn't put the DG-2 into production), and he seems to really dislike Americans but yeah he talked about making the betterment of Humanity not the "aryan race" and all that even Maxis the same(Maxis just went to the Nazis for finances not ideological reasons too)
I feel the Biggest Why for a Nit Picky type of Person in Cod Zombies is the ENTIRE MAP OF ORIGINS •World War 1 Trenches •World War 2 Weapons •Somehow Magical, & Technological Elemental Staves •Big Ass Robots & Cyborg Germans •And the Main Battle Area is literally on the Same grounds as an Ancient Church that is connected to possibly an Even Older Ruins, Built up like an Expedition Origins is a Very Heavy Clash of Setting, Theme, & Tone if you think about it
The reason for Voyage having 2 bowie knife wallbuys is so that you can get one regardless of what part of the map you choose to open up first. If you wanna open up the top part of the map first to get to the artifact, you have one there and vice versa. Also, if you're on co-op and the team splits up to open up both the top and the bottom, they can both get bowie knives without having to backtrack and go up or down to get one. Hope that helps!
I think it's because the Aether Entities like playing games so they make it a game. This isn't just a fill the plot hole with whatever, think about it. Why would they have armies and armies of undead yet populate maps with weapons and such to fight them, or nukes that instantly kill them? It's like they made a war just for them to lose. It's kinda like at the end of MIB with the beings playing marbles with universes.
