Julian Ramz sometimes. I understand Spanish and can speak a bit of it but it's sometimes hard to understand their accents or when they talk really fast. I film it really awkward when a Tia or someone is telling you a story or giving you advice and you don't understand what she said but you still nod and say ok and thanks.
Then they ask you if you understood and you instinctually say yes and it's really awkward

I'm just a random person that never comes out of her room, doesn't care about anyone else's life, can't cook, isn't religious, tries to stay quiet, isn't proud of her heritage, and... well, you know what I mean. I am the second one. Hey, I am 2nd or third gen in. The old man doesn't know Spanish either, and he grew up with my grandma and great grandpa speaking Spanish to each other 100% of the time with each other. My Tia (learned in high school) y grandma was always the interpreter for us. We always spoke to him, and then they jump in and repeat what we said in Spanish.
