Great tutorial in using multiple cameras. The BMC app on the iPhone 15 Pros and your main BM video camera is a killer combination and really has changed my film making. Agee wholeheartedly on the OneLUT - love it and saves oh so much work. Also one of the other time saving features is both generate proxies and avoid that step.
It’s a conversion LUT that is precisely matched to ARRI look which is much sought after. And again it’s very versatile. Most LUTs only work under certain conditions or lighting scenarios or if it’s a rec709 conversion LUT like Apple’s it just looks over saturated and bleh.
plz inform blackmagic to start considering less priviledged ones who cant splash money to purchase the iphone 15 for just the apple log option in the blackmagic app... they should kindly provide us with their own similar log for the phone app even if it is at a fee, thank u.
That fridge example, you went too far. If you're not going to do manual focus then you can strip the camera down to just the body and lens and stick it into the fridge. I get what you want to say but come on, adding things just to prove a point, meh
…..except the pocket cameras are only manual focus and the screen doesn’t flip around. So it is necessary for pocket and most cine cameras. Yes if you have a mirrorless like an FX3 you don’t need all that.

Whats so special about the onelut? Its just a basic flat color transformation. Not film emulation or Special color grading
