Enjoyed the video. I just wanted to point out that, this camera is not made for run and gun. I really wish people will understand that. It is made for indie films, commercials and music videos. It's made for controlled environment. When used as what it was made for, the battery life is not even a factor. So I think people need to stop complaining about the battery life. This is not a vlog / run and gun / wedding camera. People should buy DSLR cameras or mirrorless cameras if they want that kind of small long lasting battery life. This is a cinema camera in a small body. key word being "cinema". Nonetheless, nice video. enjoyed it very well.
I really appreciate your thorough review! Oh, and I really appreciate uploading this video as an actual ultrawide video as opposed to black bars. It makes viewing on my iPhone and ultrawide monitor way more pleasing. It makes sense, especially when doing reviews for cinematic cameras!
I love the SmallRig NPF battery plate as a solution for extra battery life. It's not too large and I have it mounted on a quick release adapter. I keep one battery in the camera and then a NP-F970 on the battery plate, when that dies, the camera then begins drawing from the internal without cutting out.
Hi Michael, enjoyed the great tutorial and 1000hr round up. Yes, I also found the viewfinder hood coming off and then making sure I did not lose it hugely irritating.. What worked wonders was a simple black light duty cable tie to secure it and never had a problem again !
Had to pause the video to say I LOVE Blackmagics UI on the cameras. You get used to Sony, Canon, Nikon menus, sure. But they always feel very sort of utilitarian. As silly as it sounds, the ui on the BMPCC cameras is actually fun to use. One of the best features of the cameras. for sure.
Thanks for the video, Michael. I appreciate all the effort and time you spend making very informative videos. I like you, like the Blackmagic Design camera menus. I had not used my Sony DSLR for several months, and when I needed it, I had to almost relearn how to use the camera. Sony has rubbish menus and is the reason I changed to my BMPCC 6K. Have a great day.
6:48 - Yes, I own Sony gear and Blackmagic gear, and I use Canon at work. Blackmagic has the best UI. The menu is the so easy to use. My Sony A7II's menu is cumbersome in comparison, but like you said, you really to just get used to whatever you have because of learning it over time. It's a very nice feature, but for those who can make - what I would call an upgrade to Blackmagic - don't sweat it! You'll do well shooting with what you have if you learn your camera inside and out, and customize it to make it easier on you to use (like customizable buttons, settings, whatever - like Sony did with the C buttons on my A7II).
There so many nice options to shoot handheld with the 6k pro and getting less shaky footage. I got rid of using gimbals so much even with commercial. for me most cinematographers have something like a reflex always grabbing the gimbal in the fear of dealing with shakes and so on... but its a good way of learning to film much more old school.
Director here. I honestly dislike gimbals. I try and shoot on sticks, on my tripod dolly or handheld. Occasionally I’ll use a gimbal for a pedestal shot or a tracking/dolly shot on uneven terrain but otherwise old school is better 👍
Beautifully presented. Wonderful pacing. Delicious B-roll. A real pro here. Thank you for your hard work and planning. Just subscribed. Buying a 6k -pro tomorrow. Selling my 5D mkiv
Hi Michael. I am brand spanking new to this video scene and just purchased this camera a couple of days ago and it will be arriving today. I noticed you had a 15mm Irix on the camera. I too am planning on using the Irix Cine lenses myself. Which mm lens would you start off with if you didn’t have a single lens for the camera? I will be doing this as a hobby and if anything, will be shooting/creating an intro music video for a future entertainment/DJ company. I was leaning towards the 30mm but that 40mm could be a better choice. In the future I plan on purchasing about 4 of the lenses. What do you think?
As a novice videographer, I really enjoyed your review. So well done. Man, you know your stuff. Respect. Thorough, and well scripted, well thought out. You are a great communicator. I bought one a month ago, and used it on a shoot, and got ok shots out of it because it's so awesome. But I had my head up my butt while using it, and the camera saved me. haha. You've opened my eyes to so many things that BMC DOESN'T offer any new user. We need content like this. THANK YOU!!! (Please forgive me ahead of time for this cranky old man complaint coming, lol) As a voice actor, and older human being, I'm going to ask you if you think about how you go up in pitch at the end of almost every sentence? You're not asking questions, you're making statements, yet, as a pattern of speech, you raise your voice in tone. It's so weird. I know, it's a millennial thing. A new way to communicate. Sorry. I need to post a video... (and get yelled at by everyone show does this of course)
We did just a 3 month review on the 6K Pro and we're just as blown away. Like unless Blackmagic releases an pocket 8K haha we can't see ourselves using any other camera for really long time. It's the best damn camera we've ever used.
Truly is an awesome camera! I agree there’s not much I’d upgrade for! If the next one has 15+ stops of dynamic range tho I’d upgrade in a heartbeat haha. Loved your video, just subscribed.
Very helpful review, thanks for that🙏.We actually started producing an indie film with a BM 6k. After 7 days of filming we decided to switch to a RED Raptor camera to scale up from "indie" quality to "Hollywood/Bollywood" quality. The BM 6K is without a doubt an outstanding camera, especially when you consider the price-performance ratio. However, an experienced Hollywood colorization expert must then lend a hand during the colorization process so that you can get a somewhat cinematic feeling. Unfortunately, the BM 6k does not close the gap to premium league cinema movie quality and for 2-2.5k $ one cannot expect that. However, I agree with some of the comments here that the BM 6K is very suitable for indie and "standard" music video productions and documentaries.
I have used the 6K Pro and I must say the videos out of it are very good. I have owned both the 6K Pro and the Lumix GH5 I would say in most situations the 6K Pro does produce a more pleasing result. Certainly a "softer image" which I prefer. However the 6K is not a well built camera and will not take even a moderate knock whereas the GH5 is an extremely well built tough unit. My 6K did freeze on 2 occasions but for me that is not a biggie. One of the most amazing features the 6K Pro offers is the builtin ND filters. This feature alone is worth at least $600 in my books.
I love the usability of the Blackmagic menu system, but I think the best balance of usability and features is in Panasonic's menu system. In my experience BM makes amazing hardware but they are let down by random missing features in the software.
Great review man! Also love my kitted BMPC6K, solved most of the issues that the Pro does with some add-ons... but mannnnn I really wish I knew the full Tilta cage wasn't going to work on the Ronin S. I've not been able to get it balanced for sh*t because of that tiny sliver of cage on the right side of the body, even with the mounting plate and all. Such a pain. Also, while I agree about the plastic body, they'd for sure have to keep the weight super light to avoid needing an OP gimbal. But yeah, maybe carbon fiber or something... like a "rugged" edition lol.
21:40 I watched several BMD 6k pro videos. One video mentioned fan noise created near on-camera mics. have you experienced that as well? It seems like the fans could really create an issue . I know most professionals would not use on-cam mic as primary but if one is doing run and gun ( like a wedding) then the on-cam mic would almost be necessary.
Great review, very thorough and intelligent. I'd like to see a little more talk on the workflow, and color grading the footage through resolve, etc. But maybe that's a different vid. I want to use this as more of a music video, experimental film type camera and less for complete narrative work. I like the fact that you were comfortable shooting it handheld for a long time. And the fact that it feels like a toy was something I never heard before, so good to know. Yes, I would gladly pay extra for a more formidable body as well. Cheers...
My 15yrold son has been scripting, shooting and editing now now stop for the last 4years. He has a Nikon DSLR that he has loaned from school film department now for over 2 years. Want to get him the next level camera for him to keep creating content...looking at getting new camera set up for early high school graduation gift so he can use now...what would you suggest? Looking at Black magic 4k, 6k, or 6k pro...thoughts?
I love Blackmagic cameras obviously! The biggest thing to know though is to film by yourself with Blackmagic can take quite a few extra accessories like monitors, cine lenses, focus gears, tons of batteries etc. if he needs/wants anything like autofocus or a smaller camera package then may want to look at stuff like Sony/Canon mirrorless. But for films and traditional movie making I think Blackmagic is the best you can get for the money.
@@initialfocus Great, thanks for the reply. Think we will rent one or two models here in LA at Sammy's camera first to see what he likes best. Thanks again!
Can i use the normal crane 3s with the blackmagic 6k pro, battery grip and a microphone? Above all, I have doubts about whether the blackmagic will fit with the battery grip on. I was also wondering what video tripod you recommend between $100 and $300, I would also need one that can hold the camera vertically, do you know of any? Thank you 🙂
22:51 This camera has a lot of great features, but how do you find the lack of IBIS? Do you find enough lenses with enough stabilization? Or you have another work around like shooting style or fix in post? How do you find manual focusing only?
Amazing video, as always! I just recently bought the crane 3s to mount my bmpcc 6k pro and it has worked wonderfully. However, I'm not able to connect the camera to the gimbal itself, I've tried connecting it with the usb-c cable and then going through the crane 3s menu to select the "bmpcc" option, but it doesn't seem to work. This is a bit of a bummer, since its uncomfortable to press record directly on the camera once its mounted on the gimbal. Any advice on how to fix this? Thanks
Hello. I loved your review. I am an S1H shooter and I would like to add another system to my gear. I am trying to choose between A7S3, 6K PRO and 6K G2. What would you recommend? I shoot mostly music videos and corporate videos.
@@initialfocus Hi! To answer your question, there were no auto-captions on the video. Perhaps the feature was not turned on? I’d love English captions, please. Thanks so much - I appreciate the reply and the addition. I’ll watch asap. 👍
Perhaps you can share your lighting setup and camera settings. I see you work from black then add your own lights. Which lights will you recommend? Thanks.
Awesome review! Thank you so much for sharing! The only thing I am afraid of is the fan noise of the Pocket, if you use an external microphone that is attached to the camera directly; or at tleast the same rig. Wouldn't that be a problem? :-o
Amazing video! Thank you! Getting into the motion side of things from the still photography field, and I’m looking at this camera. Thanks for the in-depth coverage and your setup. This is by far the most helpful video. Subscribed.
Thank you for your hard work on this video. Do you have a video that covers the best settings with a DaVinci workflow. From this video I learned that is is good to try to use native iso of 400 or 3200 and gen 5 film. I try to keep shutter at 180. Optimal data compression is a big one. I use an external 1tb SSD. Also a brief settings in DaVinci that work best with your preferred optimal settings
I saw in the menu an option for Horizon and Crosshair on the "Grids" menu. Is it just a dead line through the center, or doe sit move and change color when it's perfectly lined up like a GH5 horizon? It being called a "grid" makes me think it's not an active tool and just a flat line, but I hope I'm wrong.
Thanks man. Nice review. I am on a c200 at the moment thinking about a switch. Did u had the chance to compare it? Alternatively the c70 would but a great choice but of course way more money. I guess the nd6 falls a bit short if you really want to shoot wide open on a sunny day on the 6k pro. So are u still using the 6k? Also how much crop do I get in 6k raw mode? I am also interested in your lenses? How do they hold up? Are they sharp wide open? Guess the are full frame? Which focal length did you like the most? Also good advise on the portable sennheiser mic. Definitely check that out. I know lot of questions :) but when it comes to gimbals I’d prefer the rs2. Did you test it as well? Thx 😉
Hello my name is Fred Lane, I am one of your RUclips subscribers. I am fairly new to filming and color grading. My camera is the 6k pro and I shoot in BRAW. My question is about the new color management in Resolve studio 17.4.2. What is the best settings for RUclips that will get the job done. The DaVinci wide gamut makes my scenes dark for some reason. My computer is the 2020 27inch 5k iMac that I color calibrated using the X-rite color checker pro plus. Thank you 🙏🏾
So I have not yet used Black magic. Sony like the A7III was the toughest menu to get use to. I've been using Panasonic for about 6 years and feel it's a pretty easy menu to use. I'm very interested in now the have the 6K G2. Which is basically like the Pro but no ND filters and the screen is not as bright.
Okay. I don't know what to make of this. I've been scouring the web for an efficient rig set-up for this camera that allows for better battery, storage, and shoulder/top handle positions. I don't understand this "running and gunning" dslr philosophy. For over a decade, I've worked in a large newsroom with camerapeople that ran and gunned with literal shoulder monsters with a handle on top, 30lbs+ with double battery on the back, 4 P2 card slots, all SDI, XLR, HDMI ports imaginable and a motorized 24-400mm zoom lens with doubler, not to mention the Dejeero suitcase or backpack. This blackmagic camera doesn't even have a strap to tie it to your hand, so I hope your gunning doesn't involve too much running, 'cause that's an expensive thing to drop on the ground while fumbling for a full battery. I'd like to buy that camera but it's like a RyanAir ticket, it needs add-ons. Like a rig. I just need to know how much more I'll have to spend to make it actually practical. Why can't I find somebody that will talk about that?
Hi, good content video. I like the two tube lights behind you, can you please provide which models are? They are the only things you doesn’t specify in your gear list. Thx
The internal battery is really only good for backup. They could have easily doubled the camera size and put a vmount inside but then we'd complain about that. I really like that they kept the camera smallish with the tiny battery.
I use vmount batteries for run and gun. i connect the dtap and put it in my fanny pack or trouser pocket. so there is no issue with too much rigging for getting some clips outside. i holds up to 3h. the big one like 5h
If you meant Tilta, I don’t have the 6K Pro new Tilta stuff. I have the Nitze cage for the 6K pro in this video, the Tilta stuff you see is my Pocket 6K setup.
Great video, saving my pennies!!! Question - for my own learning - why does it seem to me that so many of your scenes here seem washed out, and cold be more 'vibrant'? I'm sure my rookie ass is missing something, so this isn't a dig, i'm just wondering?
I have noticed many Blackmagic videos look that way. I suspect part of it is stylistically of course, but also part of it might be due to the fact that Blackmagic shooters often "expose to the right" as it's known to have a decent amount of noise if you expose too dark. And what I suspect is that causes many users to keep it over-exposed when editing, rather than bringing it back down. I think it's a geniune error on the user end, as I have seen some sharp and contrasty footage from Blackmagic. It's just surprisingly rare.
Such a great review. And though I use a zcam E2S6, value is obtained watching your content so keep up the good work. I also got the two Irix lens based on watching your Irix 45mm and 150mm review….love those lens. Thumbs up my friend.
I appreciate the compliment very much and the support! How are you liking the Zcam? I’ve debated switching to them because I love the body style but didn’t know how friendly ZRAW was to work with in resolve or FCPX
@@initialfocus No probs, you deserve and earned the compliment. Regarding the Zcam, I love this camera but if you your workflow requires RAW I can tell you ZRAW is not worth it. It does look great and all but it's not friendly in terms of NLE support and workflow especially anyone coming from BRAW which is really one of the best. Granted, Zcam users can do prores RAW via the Atomos and it is lovely when I shoot with it and edits nice for Final cut users, but I am a Davinci Resolve editor so it's another headache (Until either Prores becomes native in DR17 or Zcam gets BRAW like Panasonic S series via the Blackmagic Assist). I do love that zcam has lots of options codec wise which is a plus, eg H264, H265, different Prores flavor and Zraw natively. But the pro of zcam is the beautiful images that comes out with almost no effort and I wanted a camera with a rugged body, built like a tank and form factor that allows me to rig like no tomorrow. But, the negative to that is you can't just pick it up and walk into a Mall and not be noticed unlike the BMPCC6k/pro which can disguise as a regular DSLR...so it all depends. Hope this helped a little. If you want to know more about it DM me and I will gladly share more on it. Had a shoot today actually and the images blew away all of us.
Nice review! How's the fan noise on yours? Still feel like it's quite a big downside that it's audible when using a shotgun mic within 1 or even 2 meter of the camera...
That same calibration util was later added to Video Assist that was suffering the same issue. Weirdly that only happened after it was made for this camera first. I mean the issue was there for a year or so and one would assume that an external monitor that you pay ~1k would be a priority to fix or something 🤷🏼♂️ Although, I must admit that at least for me the tint issue was extremely minimal and also anybody who is really trusting the colors on those devices will probably use a LUT that is specifically calibrated for the VA.
great video xDDD But I have still some questions as it's pretty hard to choose between the 6k and 6k pro haha. I've never had a video camera, so I'm somehow afraid that it will be too heavy with the Pocket 6k Pro (1.2 kg DJI Rs 2 stabilizer, 800g Sigma 18-35 mm, 1.2 kg Pocket 6k Pro, and another battery or SSD.) Do you think that could be the case? Especially when you e.g. film the whole day or when you travel and still have a drone. I also wonder if the 6k Pro's "tilting screen" is really necessary? (I filmed with the Gopro and the cell phone on a stabilizer and never really had any problems, even when I walked very close to the floor. Maybe it's different with the camera, as many 6k users said it is necessary). Buying one later would make less sense, as it costs more and is perhaps even more uncomfortable if you use the stabilizer and fix a "DJI 3D focus system" / microphone on the "head" of the camera. I've already looked a bit on the internet and apparently the 6k Pro fits on the RS 2, but it's not yet entirely clear to me whether that's really true. I have one last question then I say more than thank you; Do you actually need nd filters a lot in filmmaking? thxx
I think you've swung it for me. I've been looking at the BMPC 4K since I bought the Sony A7iii and since moving to Resolve I feel like it's time to also make the switch to the BMPC range, and like you say, value for money is incredible. I've seen a few videos on the A7siii but I think I'll keep the a7iii as a B-cam and purchase the 6K pro, what a beast! 🔥
The 4k if used with correct lens is not to be compared with 6k , and 6k works with EF lens, which the 4k with adapter is garbage with EF lens ,. Nobody really knows the truth or they do not realize why , some video creators make good points, but their are always misconceptions, I made protest videos and know correct answers , people want sensation and twist facts,
And many other points are missed about codex and daviceresolve, that is far above Sony, Sony becomes a joke, what does Sony offer ? Nothing is the answer! Where is Sony resolve and is it free, let's all get real!
Now THAT is how you do an in-depth review. Awesome stuff man!
Thanks so much man! 🙌🏼

When using that large battery does it work on the Ronin RS2 Gimbal?
The Anton Bauer batteries are great I agree, but they can't even come close to the Jack Bauer batteries--you get a whole 24 hours out of those.
criminally underrated comment

This has to be hands down one of the best camera reviews I have ever seen. And Michael, your production quality. Absolutely incredible!

That’s such a great way to word it! I can absolutely use other camera brands menus because it’s a utility but blackmagic’s is actually a joy.
I like that Tilta has already made an extension cable for the viewfinder. That should let people use the 6k pro as a shoulder mount camera.
Right! Tilta is always innovating like crazy.

Thank you 🙂
I subscribed because you look exactly like one of my best friends and you have the same voice. Makes your videos way more entertaining.
I just feel bad that there is someone else out there with a boring monotone voice like me 😂
Best review of this camera so far! Thanks!
Thanks so much!
Beautiful video. VERY VERY much appreciated.
Now from another happy 6k pro owner. :)
So great review! Those tubelights in the video, wich are those? 🙏🏼
Your lighting setup is very high quality.
Thanks so much!
Was looking forward to this review. No captions - such a shame. I’m a deaf filmmaker and need captions. Can you please add them? Thank you!
There’s no auto captions? What language do you need? I’ll add them
@@initialfocus Hi! To answer your question, there were no auto-captions on the video. Perhaps the feature was not turned on? I’d love English captions, please. Thanks so much - I appreciate the reply and the addition. I’ll watch asap. 👍
Great job Michael! I really liked it. How about doing Ursa Mini g2? Im so interested in this camera
Would love to review a G2. I’ll reach out to my Blackmagic rep and see if they have a review unit.
Came for the BMPCC 6K PRO... subscribed after the quality, thoughtful review.
Appreciate that very much! 🙌🏼
I dream of a 4K Pro for the EVF, brighter tilt screen, and dual mounting points. I would give up the internal ND for a smaller size and the MFT mount.
Perhaps you can share your lighting setup and camera settings.
I see you work from black then add your own lights.
Which lights will you recommend?
Thanks.
Absolutely amazing video... thanks so much for such nice video. It's what a review video is intended to be. Period.
Great review on an amazing camera! I use the 3S and use the power pack to power the camera. Great to see someone else doing it as well!
Yessss! Felt like a genius when I started doing that 😂
What Q would best use for outdoor shooting or music videos? Also what’s the best setting for slow-mo? Yours did look good with the model
Don't know if it's already been mentioned, but a zip tie would secure your VF eyecup.
Awesome review! Thank you so much for sharing! The only thing I am afraid of is the fan noise of the Pocket, if you use an external microphone that is attached to the camera directly; or at tleast the same rig. Wouldn't that be a problem? :-o
Thank you for this!! Greatly appreciated :) and fantastically done.
Amazing video! Thank you! Getting into the motion side of things from the still photography field, and I’m looking at this camera. Thanks for the in-depth coverage and your setup. This is by far the most helpful video. Subscribed.
Girl at 13:37 reminds me heavily of Journey Smollet (I think that's her name). Great video by the way!
Just got the 6K Pro w/ Sigma 18-35mm, Looking forward to begin my journey! Thanks for the review
Great combination! Enjoy it!
How loud is the cooling fan on high? Will this camera accept a powered zoom lens like the new Sony 16-35mm? Thank you!
Image quality is insane 🔥🔥🔥
Blows me away every time!
Damn ! The B-roll music choice is *fire* .
Thanks man!
How do you operate the touchscreen with the V-mount blocking it? Can you change settings using the buttons?
Awesome review!!! I have a question do you recommend me to update BMPC 6K G2 or buy the 6k pro???
Do you think the G2 is still a good choice on sale for 1595?!
Thx 😉
Sorry, but can I ask why you are not ok with your C200?Only 4K and you need 6K,or weight or I dont know...?...!
Thank you 🙏🏾
I think the two major features of this camera are the Menu system and in-camera ND filters. Other hybrid cameras are a nightmare with the menus.
Thx
Thanks! All the tube lights are Nanlite Pavotubes. Those are the first gen 4’ versions in this video. Some newer videos show the Gen 2’s
@@initialfocus thx, even your quick answer is very useful and accurate as the video 😁
The internal battery is really only good for backup. They could have easily doubled the camera size and put a vmount inside but then we'd complain about that. I really like that they kept the camera smallish with the tiny battery.
Are you using the 6k pro to do this video of you? The quality is amazing.
The video of me talking was filmed on my Pocket 6K
I use vmount batteries for run and gun. i connect the dtap and put it in my fanny pack or trouser pocket. so there is no issue with too much rigging for getting some clips outside. i holds up to 3h. the big one like 5h
Ordered that titla cage at launch...jealous you've already got yours.
If you meant Tilta, I don’t have the 6K Pro new Tilta stuff. I have the Nitze cage for the 6K pro in this video, the Tilta stuff you see is my Pocket 6K setup.
@@initialfocus ahhhhhh got ya
Ps I also liked how you added the different sections to the timeline. I was thinking - quality.
Do you use any IR cut filter on your lenses? Great video man! Thank you.
Thanks for watching! And nope, besides a DreamFX filter I don’t use any external filters unless a specific need pops up.
@@initialfocus So you have not been experiencing Ir pollution? interesting. Thank you brother
DAMN that paper backdrop A-roll set up is nice 👌
Yeah? Thought I’d change it up a bit! Glad you liked it!
@@initialfocus I commented too fast 😂 I love all these different locations. Looks like a ton of work! But they all blend seamlessly 👏👏👏
@@initialfocus also, this review is fantastic. A-roll, B-roll, editing, audio, music 🙌 it’s all amazing 👌
what lens do you suggest to film a movie and videos with
Great video, saving my pennies!!!
I know why
On 4k it's impossible to correctly expose using built-in monitor in daylight
Love your channel and video review on this camera! Hope you don't mind me poking a little fun at you in mine 😂😂
As a PNW mountain bike shooter I have to say. Don't worry about getting this camera wet!
Have you used SD cards with the camera and lost data? I use BM4K cams and always fear losing data because of no dual card recording.
Subed just watchin this. Now thats quality content!
Put black gaffer around the connection between the eyecup and the camera. Works like a charm
That’s actually really smart! Thanks!
Nice review! How's the fan noise on yours? Still feel like it's quite a big downside that it's audible when using a shotgun mic within 1 or even 2 meter of the camera...
Just saw your other comment about not having any issues with the fan... so weird that that is so different depending on the unit.
Excellent! just subscribed and probably buy the 6K Pro thanks to you!
Thanks for the support! 🙌🏼
That same calibration util was later added to Video Assist that was suffering the same issue. Weirdly that only happened after it was made for this camera first. I mean the issue was there for a year or so and one would assume that an external monitor that you pay ~1k would be a priority to fix or something 🤷🏼♂️ Although, I must admit that at least for me the tint issue was extremely minimal and also anybody who is really trusting the colors on those devices will probably use a LUT that is specifically calibrated for the VA.
great video xDDD
But I have still some questions as it's pretty hard to choose between the 6k and 6k pro haha. I have one last question then I say more than thank you; Do you actually need nd filters a lot in filmmaking?
thxx
Do you have a problem with the eyecup?? Mine constantly falls off the viewfinder
What lenses did you mount on this camera?
I think you've swung it for me. I've been looking at the BMPC 4K since I bought the Sony A7iii and since moving to Resolve I feel like it's time to also make the switch to the BMPC range, and like you say, value for money is incredible. I've seen a few videos on the A7siii but I think I'll keep the a7iii as a B-cam and purchase the 6K pro, what a beast! 🔥
Exactly what I’m doing
The 4k if used with correct lens is not to be compared with 6k , and 6k works with EF lens, which the 4k with adapter is garbage with EF lens ,. Nobody really knows the truth or they do not realize why , some video creators make good points, but their are always misconceptions, I made protest videos and know correct answers , people want sensation and twist facts,
4k or 6k only depends what lens you have or plan on using , period . Not buying into what your saying
And many other points are missed about codex and daviceresolve, that is far above Sony, Sony becomes a joke, what does Sony offer ? Nothing is the answer! Where is Sony resolve and is it free, let's all get real!
This whole video is 🔥🔥🔥
This comment is pretty 🔥 too my guy! Thanks for watching. Much appreciated! 🙌🏼
What's the name of the battery you attached to the gimbal?
