The biggest problem with the S7 FE is it's price. It's a budget oriented device with a very high mid range price. Samsung cut a lot from the tablet but forgot to cut the price. Honestly you would be better looking at a S7+ over the FE. The S7+ often goes on sale for less than the price of the FE. Now if the FE was priced as $300 it would be a clear winner. But at $500, it's not really an option.
FE should be 350-400 retail, tab s6 lite should be 250-300 retail. Samsung would dominate the entry level artist/student market. By undercutting apples prices and delivering with a quality product (they literally just have to make their tablets at least $100 cheaper than the iPad equivalent and it's over, especially because they ship the spen with their tablets and apple doesnt so that's almost a $200 difference up front). But I guess they'll just keep it where it's at and always be in the shadows. Most ppl call my tablet or an tablet they see an iPad by default (in my experience).. Samsung is probably the only company that can change that immediately.
That's the comparison I was waiting, thank you! In Brazil the prices are almost the same. If you add the pen the S7 Fe is slightly cheaper. I use my tablet mainly for note taking and media, and I still think the galaxy tab have a better software. I'm still on the fence about the choice.

I bought the Samsung Tab S7 Tab Plus last year mainly for the large size and s-pen/Wacom EMR stylus. The FE would have been sufficient for me, I didn't need all the bells and whistles of an ultra high end tablet as I use it only as a drawing tool. I've been using the S7 tab as a 'Cintiq' replacement connected to a PC using SuperDisplay app, which means the tablet processing power doesn't do much.
Been doing the exact same. But with the FE. The best thing about it is that once I'm done and want to play some games from my bed, can do that too. Got a super long usb c cable that I would use with my vr headset, so I just run that cable all the way to my bed and can lay back and game when not doing anything. Only thing for me left to get is the Wacom One pen because that apparently works with the Samsung and a paper like screen protector. Then will completely replace my cintiq for a fraction of its cost (got my fe on sale)

Such a shame the Pad 5 has an inferior pen and isn't in North America. If it were, with those great specs and amazing pen, for that insane price, the Tab S7 FE wouldn't have stood a chance.
Well, prices here in Bulgaria, EU, are as follows: 400 Euros for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE, and 350 Euros for the Xiaomi Pad 5 WITHOUT a pen, which costs a whole 90 Euros extra (for a total of 440 Euros). That makes the Tab S7 FE far more appealing, especially if you are using the tablet for drawing and need that extra precision it offers, along with the bigger screen size. Not to mention the Samsung ecosystem, regular updates and stable software. Even the older model Tab S6 Lite from 2020 will get an upgrade to Android 12 in a the coming months.

I got the s7 fe but I have to say the colors really pop, almost like it's an oled screen. And as far as I know it's an ips screen. Is the xiaomi really better then this? That's crazy
If I could engrave in to the heart of every youtuber how much I dislike in video sponsored adds that take up more than 5 seconds, I'd design the logo of my hatred in a tab s7 fe.
Hi, I'm from Germany. I checked in nearby Saturn Store for a tablet with a pen for my daughter. I saw the both tablets there, the tablets were next to each other. It looks like Xiaomi has a better display overall, better color, view angles, brightness. Also it seems like Xiaomi is doing a little bit better with the latency by drawing or writing notes. I don't know what to do now, I'm a samsung user for a decade. Damn it Samsung.
I have the Xiaomi Pad pro 5G & Samsung Tab S8 - both 11" . It's not exactly per the comparison of this video but just to point out my observations between the two brands if it helps. 1) Xiaomi display is critically more comprehensive to fine tune. You can't adjust the colour temperature of the Samsung as finely as the Xiaomi & the Samsung colour & contrast is not as natural or good. It could be a TFT Vs IPS thing. 2) Xiaomi has 8 speakers & Dolby software to further tune the sound whereas Samsung is with 4 speakers and only native Samsung sound control. The sound from the Xiaomi can be so realistic at times that I have to momentarily pause some videos I play to double check whether it's actually ambient sounds. 3) Samsung has native telephone/data functionality whereas Xiaomi like Apple's iPad mini6 can do internet data only. 4) Samsung can extend storage with SD cards whereas Xiaomi can't. If you need native telephone functionality, go for Samsung otherwise Xiaomi is my preferred choice.
Love your take and perspective for the comparison! Some people might be overwhelmed with the specs and forget what they are buying the devices for. 😄

How about you do a version with every single one . Xiaomi pad 5 vs Samsung galaxy s6 vs Samsung galaxy s7 vs Samsung galaxy s7fe . I am trying to decide which one of those to buy . What do you recommende ?? ( Mostly i want it for drawing )
WHO is your sponser
Brad: Hoo
Just found this channel looking for a nice tablet to draw on. Ill probably just get a nice Samsung tab with one of those pens for better experiences. Ill see what to get later in the new year when i gather some extra funds.
Man this guy draws Zelda characters very well. Well windwaker style.
Does this guy have anything to do with the game?
I bought wind waker at launch for the GameCube. Almost completed it 100%. idk things came and forgot about it. I liked the game actually.
so... but which pen did you use for the xiaomi 5 then if none is included? there are so many out there? the xiaomi stylus pen?
will you be reviewing the new asus slate vivobook?
Samsung FE inkl. S-Pen 369 € vs Xiaomi Pad 5 with Xiaomi Smart Pen 408 € - What would you buy for Drawing and Video Streaming on Vacation?
How would you compare the new xiaomi pad 6 to the samsung s7 fe?
At 7:55 what app are you using on the tab s7 fe?
it looks like procreate
What would you recommend? Mipad 5 or ipad9 or s7 fe?
Please answer....can we use both of them as drawing pads connected to pc???? Like can we use this as drawing pad for pc and do photoshop
The pricing for these are weird.
I just bought my 64GB Samsung Tab S7 FE 4G for RM1,589 (USD 380). It’s a GREAT device at this price point. The Mi Pad 5 128GB will cost me an additional USD50 with the stylus.
You need to remember that most of the prices for mi pad are bigger rn cause it's out of stock everywhere and you are probably looking at resellers
Where did you buy the tablet for so cheap? Help a brother out 😂
@@johanneswei4456 it's a bit too late for buying it cheap, look out for an early bird sales (shortly buying just after the release) cause they are hugely discounted or/and with add-ons like the stylus for free
Mi pad is 319$ here i might buy it
2:20 😊 Mhmmm IbisPaint.
I sppose Brad is using Clip in the beginning of this vid.
Nice tablets.
Btw is it still safe to get an S6 Lite at this point? Since it might already be discontinued, and it's gonna have it's 2nd anniversary next year?? :0
Aquí un comentario en español, yo tengo la s6 lite y va excelente tanto para juegos (no muy demandantes) y aplicaciones de dibujo como clip st7dio paint va de maravilla, además de contar con dex para la mult itarea es una joya
Te la recomiendo
It's said to be slow. Better off with a xiaomi or an ipad. S7 FE is overpriced for it's specs(unless you get a good sale).
Very nice review! Thank you for elaborating
Which app are you using?
Is it worth it, or should I wait till s8 tablet
Dang... I was wanting the mipad to be a good choice for me...
But it seems like the only thing that makes me wanna buy a tablet doesn't work as i expected in this mipad .. 😩
yea its good overall but its pen capabilities arent fleshed out yet
I prefer pad 5 because of bigger 256gb memory but cheaper price than 128 gb memory of Samsung. But I only use it to watch streaming apps
may i know.... can samsung stylus pen use on mi pad 5? or any other conventional stylus pen?
Xiaomi infact nailed it with hardware but you haven't said anything about software and software support
If you can put these two side by side to compare their physical size, this would be a much better video.
I'm living in Asia and bought the FE 2-3 weeks ago. Just priced a mi 5 for comparison and it's actually about $20 more than the Samsung where I am.
How do you get such nice and clean curves while drawing Brad? I am unable to draw smooth curves, please help!!!
Bro ,, i also confusing for buy a tab between
Mi pad 5 vs Samsung s7 fe
Please tell me screen quality in real life. Which tab is better display quality while watching movie.🥰🥰🥰💥
They're not budget tablets, budget tablets are the ones off Wish for £100 that say they have octa core and 6gb of ram but we all know it's a lucky dip as to what's actually in them.
Hi Brad I have a question how could you use illustrator on samsung tablet ??
I got the s7 fe but I have to say the colors really pop, almost like it's an oled screen. And as far as I know it's an ips screen. Is the xiaomi really better then this? That's crazy
I have the xiaomi mi pad 5 pro 5g with a 870chip set and a 50mp rear camera and is a beast
We don't get it here
We get 860 chipset
Which one u will suggest for notes taking ??
Meanwhile in poorer Hungary the Xiaomi still cost around 500 USD and the FE is about 800 USD, so painful
Do I see procreate on android???
No, it's Huion Sketch.
Very fair! Great comp!
What to choose if both have same price?
My main purpose is drawing but my budget is of xiaomi pad 5
So can I go for xiaomi pad 5
what app are you using dear sir?
What software you use for drawing?
If I don't want to draw, mainly make notes and write for university will the mi pad's stylus be ok?
can you review the HUAWEI MATEBOOK E? I wanna see a review in artist perspective
If I could engrave in to the heart of every youtuber how much I dislike in video sponsored adds that take up more than 5 seconds, I'd design the logo of my hatred in a tab s7 fe.
What program do you draw with?
Please review the Tab S8 soon!
I like larger tabs so you have more space to write on
Which drawing apps are you using?
How about the palm rejection?
In which app Or software you were drawing
