@natebrown4383 Exactly. So if a kid can drop it on its side, turn the cylinder lock with needle nose pliers, or turn the key hole with a flathead and pliers, probably better to get something a curious teenager can't get into so easily. A simplex lock with a thick metal backplate ends up being far superior. Especially if your kid is old enough to use Google. 🍻
@natebrown4383 So why not get something other than "pretty much any safe"? I'm completely confused about what the controversy is here...? I love my kid enough to get a gun safe they can't get into at all.
@@BlakeCDMediaIf your teenager is THAT bad, you have a lot more to worry about that your gun safe lol… that kid is already on the wrong path in life anyway, there’s no saving him/her
I've had a couple of these. Good safes but the gas piston tends to lose pressure over time. I bought a multi-pack of springs at my local hardware store, took off the strut and add the springs. It compensates for weakened piston.
Wyze makes an excellent biometric gun safe, with 12 gauge steel, for about $150. They are a technology company, rather than a traditional safe company, but they are known for high-value products.
Just so you guys know when it comes to lockpicking biometrics are dozens of times easier to pick, still will probably get one but just know experienced pickers will pick in less than a second
That's pretty cool and hi-tech and I'm sure Peter Graves would also love those, but at the end, when it comes to grabbing a gun in a "you don't wanna use the weapon" scenario every nanosecond counts and judging by the video the unlocking takes waaaay to long, plus you have to perfectly fit a finger in there to unlock the safe and if you fail.. or the battery fails... meh. Better follow the gun safety rules and teach others about it.
also i think its a dumb idea to remote access a gun safe. the gun owner should be physically near his gun. but the biggest problem on theses safes are the cheap chinese locks. easy pickable.

I hate these "robo reviews" where the "creator" just uses stock footage and reads marketing materials from the companies "reviewed."
Other creators have shown how you cab get into some of these safes with a screwdriver or by dropping it.
Agreed.

A biometric gun safe is essential to have nowadays
I wouldn’t say that is essential to be biometric… but it’s handy to have quick access to your guns

Thanks for sharing this information. I didn’t know about Wayze gun safe

I imagine it being kid proof is what matters to most people buying these smaller type safes

They are supposed to be child resistant
Valutek makes some of the most hitech biometric handgun safes
I like Valutek gun safes.
Wait is it Valutek or Vaultek???

Any safe you can open with a phone is an automatic “no” from me. It’s easier than you think to hack into someone’s phone remotely.

Best gun safe is a gun in your hands!!!
Yeah, but sometimes you have to put that gun away and better put it someplace secure
Spare us... there are many reasons why one would need to put a gun in a safe
