@glockden they did send it, but Ireached out to them, they didn't reach out to me. And it was provided with the agreement that I would be 100% honest (good or bad)
I love everything about the Vaultek Slider, but I had to return mine. My PDP was so tight, I had to withdraw it slowly to keep from hitting the sights on the top of the safe. Also the foam was super tight. It defeated the purpose of quick access.
I really like the addition of a 5th key to increase the possible combinations. The 4 keys could be more easily guessed by a curious/smart child with enough time to run through 4 digit numbers you commonly use.
I like it but there is no element of surprise with it. If you didn't want the intruder knowing where you are the loud clunk when it slams open will give you away.
Im having issues with mines and can’t find any help fixing it. It won’t open with the finger print nor number code. Only opens with the key. Any suggestions? FYI, batteries are brand new. Just doesn’t pop open but gives the sound that it wants to open. I checked to see if it was off track but it’s all fine.
Have you tried different batteries ? I know you said you used new batteries, but try new batteries from a different pack or a different brand and see if that does it
For the WiFi or bluetooth series let’s say you’re away from home, have the app open and accidentally click “Open” will it open or do you have to be near by?
After 6 months it started beeping , so I watched this video to find out where the charging port is 😂 Rather than doing 20 different fingers, I’d recommend programming a few fingers but multiple times at different angles. This will make it open easier with fewer errors.
Thanks for the video! Can you explain to me how the safe is “locked” down to the mount. It seems like you could just pull the safe off the mount with upward force, and then walk off with the whole safe.
Thanks for the comprehensive video. What are your thoughts on the Bluetooth version vs. Wifi? Slightly different feature set (remote opening vs. alerting..) I appreciate your thoughts on this,
I didn't really see alot of benefit from the wifi version. Other than remote access. I can't think of any situation where I'd need to open it remotely from another location or be notified when it opens since me and my wife are the only ones with access
@@PilotPatriot Thanks for the reply. The WiFi does NOT allow opening, but the Bluetooth does. I went with Wifi for a couple reasons, mostly availability and I liked the alerting. I don't see myself opening via Bluetooth and muscle memory matters and each opening is a chance to "practice" :-). Thanks again and Stay safe

I think this channel is a paid advertiser. Has anyone noticed he loves every single product he advertises. He has never met a bad product.
Same with most review channels. If they say to click on their link, they are getting paid.
Duh
Very cool. I've heard A TONE of good things about this company. I would buy from them
340 bucks. You are insane😂😂

350 for safe this small that holds 1 firearm is crazy

Vaultek stuff looks so awesome.
I have been trying to source something in Australia but they are just mental expensive due to the import costs.
When installed on the bracket what stops safe just getting lifted off and taken?
It can't be removed from the bracket without opening the safe and hitting a release button
can you keep the safe plugged in all the time, or will the battery go bad?
I like it but there is no element of surprise with it. If you didn't want the intruder knowing where you are the loud clunk when it slams open will give you away.
True, sticking foam in the inside where it slams open could maybe be an idea to mitigate the sound
I just keep mine under my pillow.
@@tonioyendis4464 sounds very safe! 🙄
@@PilotPatriotIt is. You sound disappointed. 😂
Thank you just ordered.
Can you leave it plugged into a car charger port?
What gun were you using ?

What if you wanted to mount it to the other side of the night stand. Will it mount on ether side?
Yes
Is the nano key biometric?
I believe they have a biometric one and one that's just a button

It isn't a click, it is a purposeful action
Will it open after an EMP?
Yes! With the key
To many bad reviews of finger sensor not working
Do you recall what the dimensions were for the spacer you used?

Does anyone use the 2.0 app? It's only got 10K-20K dl's.
I never use the app
Does it take Glock mags?
Lol, the safe will hold most any handgun and magazine you wanna put in it

I bet this safe will not fit most pistols that have a sight installed.
I have a Glock 23 with a Holosun red dot and Olight. It fits perfect.

This was my Mother’s Day gift that I asked for. I specifically asked my husband to bolt it into the side rail. Excellent safe.
There is a nice Nano Key keychain holder you can get that works well with these.
