Don't give up and make it happen !
Enjoy.
I checked the price this morning and it was 15 $ but I bought it at 10$ few days ago. The price seems to vary a lot !
Thanks for sharing your technique, but I would actually call that an overprized milk frother. IKEA used to sell one for 1.99 € and from my experience (used multiple times per day) it lasts at least as long as any 6-10€ frother that I have tried.
You can buy the milk Frother with 0.75$ in kurdistan
@@thisisnotajoke yeah I just got one that works awesome for only 4 bones
@@sonyasalah6861😢
I’ve been told a milk frother is absolutely useless, but even though this isn’t microfoam, this seems much easier and less messy than the French press method. Nice video!
Yeah you are right ! It's an alternative but not optimal !
Just get a nanofoamer
@@MultiColouredVagina I did lol. Early Christmas present to myself. Haven’t been able to nail any latte art but the texture is really great for milk drinks.
It's actually useless never had any luck with it. Best is hand blender.
Its harder but less messy
Updated.I have found it. The perfect method with a hand wisk. First make sure your wisk batteries are not running down. After warming the milk in a 500mL glass pyrex jug place your 200-250 mL of milk into your 600 mL metal pitcher. Tilt your pitcher at around 30 degrees angle, place the wisk onto the shallower side just below the surface around half to 1cm. Now wisk for 2-3 seconds, no more or less to introduce air into the milk then immediately move the wisk to the the opposite but bottom and deepest part of the angled pitcher and vortex the milk for 60 seconds. You should hear the wisk sound lower in pitch at the last 10-15 seconds. Now tap out the air from the metal pitcher. Gently pour the milk back into the glass pyrex jug, then back into the metal pitcher, keep rotating and tapping out any bubbles. The milk is now perfectly microfoamed. Important when generating the vortex fractionally move the wisk about a centimeters away from the wall towards the center of the base. If you don't the vortex will be poor, if you over move the vortex will start drawing in air and generating bubbles ruining the milk. Its an equilibrium of this for 60 seconds. Your milk will now have the consistency of wet paint. Without this consistency there's no latte art.
Use a little less milk and make very gentle up and down movements while you froth. As you bring the frother to the surface of the milk, you can control how foamy it'll get.
Hold the frother on an angle too.
30° I think @@JackAgainski
Such an underrated video! Thank you for sharing this with us ❤️
Thank you !!!
That worked perfect. Thank you so much🙏🏻
Thank you for such detailed video. It was really helpful ❤️
It's a pleasure ! Happy to help you :)
Thank you so much, I'm gonna try, just bought frother
Thanks for sharing this. It's the only way I froth milk any more. I haven't messed with the steam wand for years. The "secret" is to test your microwave to determine how long it takes to bring the milk to temp w/o boiling it. Mine is 39 seconds. Added benefit is that the steam condensate does not dilute the milk. 😊
Absolutely, thank you for sharing your tips :)
❤exactly what I’ve been looking for, I’ve been making it too foamy with my frother to do art, even though I was in the vortex for a good while, but now through this video I see that I need the right 120 temp for the milk, and vortex for at least 15-20 seconds..
That was the video I was searching for.. please do another on detailing how to get the right foam consistency! That’s the point actually
“Right foam consistency” was already addressed😮. He already said to froth for 15 -20 seconds while in the vortex and make sure the vortex doesn’t have sound
Amazing 😃👏 I'm trying to get a good milk texture, but I still need to improve. Thanks for the video 😃👏
I've been searching for this but they all say it's not going to work without an expresso machine steamer (which I can't afford just for latte art), So, a BIG Thank You for this video. 🙏
I finally did it!!!! It took a lot of patience and a little bit of practice😢 I used a drop of soap and water to practice and voilà!!!! I will be working through your other videos!!! I was also getting huge bubble up top. I think I got rid of them by going deeper at and angle and not going up and down after the initial bubble making!
Good idea, I will try for fun for sure !
I hope so !!
This is my favorite product
Good example. Thanks, now I'm your follower 😉
Thank you :) Happy to help !
Amezing bro ❤️
Thanks !!
perfect as always
watching this while drinking it haha
What kind if milk/brand did you used? I know that it all defends on the milk that you are using
do you need a milk pitcher or can i just use any metal jar thing?
You're lovely person 😶❤
thank you :)))
The fact that you get it for $2 in india
2 $.. wow ! Really cheap
🔥🔥
It's the matter of talent bro
@@CoffeetoArt i bought it, less than $1
@@CoffeetoArt bcz in india 🇮🇳 there is juggad for this , i am Indian namaste 🙏
Great video! I've used a handheld milk frother for years, but never tried to make latte art with the milk. Does the milk need to be hot or can you be successful with cold milk? And which % fat milk is best? TY!☕
Hello ! You need the milk to be hot first to make it froth or you can try to froth the milk with ice (like a freddo). I use whole milk in all of my videos ! Thank you for the comment !
Is it OK of the tip of the mixer is shaped differently?
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hi there! So I got the same bodum frother you have here, but my milk ends up too foamy on top and runny at the bottom. Anything I should maybe adjust here?
Same problem here ,you got the answer?
Same. I thought maybe it has to do with the milk itself
I had this problem and there is two solutions to it:
1:Youre frothing wayy too much the milk.
2: Youre not frothing all parts equally, like, youre holding it only in the middle. froth in all places
Hi !! I think you may adjust your position. Keep you frother a little deeper and find the best spot to make the milk swirl. Try to avoid any frothing sound when you froth ! Do it about 20 seconds !
Do it in two batches 👍🏻
I can't make a good vortex without noise, my dog barks all the time & kids outside make too much noise, I could try wearing headphones without noise I suppose
💀💀💀
Plug your headphone directly into the milk! Keep me in touch with the result !
@@CoffeetoArt 😁
What if the end was a heated coil so you can skip the microwave process
WOW, don't need an expensive machine after all!
Not at all !
Since I usually drink almond milk wouldn't it be better to use 1% or 2% milk so that I'm able to do latte art?
Well, it's harder to froth almond, oat, soy milk. But, there's barista focused blend to make it easier. You should look for it in your area !
How many seconds did you keep the frother in until it produces microfoam milk for latte art? Was it really only 15-20 seconds?
Espresso means...how to make that plz answer now
Damn I still can’t get the milk right. I’ll keep practicing!
Hi! I'm not able to make any latte art.. it ends up as a big blob of thick foam.
Well its cappuccino then
If I don't have a milk pitcher can I use a measuring cup with a pointy spout?
No. That won't work 🤭
I think so!
I bought a rechargeable frother with three different heads in Mexico City and paid 17 USD…so much for things being cheaper in Mexico!
Does the milk have to be heated or room temperature before start froting?
Heated!
My boyfriend made the device for me with a motor, spring of a ballpoint pen and some wires that was lying around my room.
Woww 😁
I would like to see that !
When I use my frother, my drink flies everywhere. What am I doing wrong? I even tried in a larger glass that is only 1/3 full.
I am trying, but bubbles stay on top of the milk and don't get mixed with the milk. Can anybody help me?
what if we doesn't use any pichers , does it make art or just flow away
The important point is in the pitcher spout ! Without spout, it's gonna be very hard to do latte art !
You get it for a dollar and a half in the Philippines :'''D
I was try..the milk was floppy bt. When ami macking coffee the bubble dont mix with milk.. Milk was not creamy..
Can you please do another video for frenchpress?
Cuz when I bought a 300ml cup, I couldn't froth the milk properly.
Yeah mate ! I just got one for a video. Give me few days and it's gonna be up !!
@@CoffeetoArt okay thank you a lot😊
@@CoffeetoArt hello man, it has been 1 month.
Have u received the French press?
Frothing in a french press is nasty you'll never be able to fully clean it.
Do i need thr pitcher, i have a bigger jug..
Well, the only think you need to think about is : Does the milk swirl?
If you can't make it swirl, your jug is to big !
If I got till 1 min to froth want will happen ?
And I saw in another vid he did for 1.15 min
I hope u reply :)
Hey Destroyer man !! I hope you doing well. 1 minute is a great target. Adding few seconds will not affect much your milk texture ! The magic happens with the vortex and the position. Find the best spot to make it swirl first and keep this position for 1 min !
ikea sells these for $1, although that $15 might be much higher quality.
I can get those froth wands for $1.00 (¥100) here in Japan.
Rip off. I got mine in USA. Texas for .50 cents.
@@MrMnmn911 .50 cents? wow they saw you coming. I got mine and the guy paid me $2 to have it
Got cheap one for 1€ in Germany
Just bought a frother. Once poured into coffee I find and I drink the coffee has gotten cold :😁Is there something I can do?
Yes you need to buy a coffee mug warmers. It’s an electric heated pad, just set your cup on it and it stay warm!
@@21borders15 thank you
Is it really 15 dollars for that whisk thingy? In Holland its €1,69. Genuine question btw
Hello if I don’t have this pitcher what can I use ?
You can use a paper cup!
@@CoffeetoArt I tried your idea and it worked … not entirely tho. I couldn’t get the foam to be silky smooth? It’s like foamy and not silky enough to hold a heart shape. I made like a bear foam tho!
i thought nanofoamer is overpriced after watching your video
1st question, it has to be 120 f for this to work and 2nd what kinda of milk do you use?
120 f is around 48 c which is around lukewarm, coffee has to be hot, but not this cold... Just made using this video, coffee is lukewarm
You can get it in only 1$ in Bangladesh
But does it actually boil the milk
Hey Yemsrach. The anwser is no. You actually have to heat the milk first and the froth. If you heat the milk to the suggested temperature (55-65 degress celsius) you should be fine !
Do you use half and half or 2persent for milk
3.25% fat milk ! 2% should work just fine too :)
In pakistan you can buy it in less than 1$
Imported cost is out of control !
Does the hand-held milk frother also heat up the milk? I'm looking for foamed milk that's cold for iced latte
no it doesn't
@@adeliak8222 that’s great! So it can be used to get creamier milk for iced latte
@@annaheya2109 'xactly ;)
Hey ! You have to heat it before. But yeah Anna, you can used it to make iced coffee or for adding some texture to your coffee !
@@CoffeetoArt the froth comes out bubbly though. What am I doing wrong?
I bought this for $1
A w Polsce za dolara w ikei
Doesn't the coffee get cold ?
nahh !
I think mine never works coz I used $1 wand
There is a good chance!!
very good video, my content will grow if you watch this video often, thank you for helping a lot
I got the same frother for 3 dollars sooo
Doesn’t all that milk ruin the espresso taste?… it seems as though it’s more milk then espresso
hola hello
Hey Axel ! How you doing?
@@CoffeetoArt fine,yuo
@@CoffeetoArt i do not write english well
@@axeltkditf2789 No problem! I'm not that good aswell haha !
Why the hell does this not work for me man, I've tried it multiple times but I don't see any difference, the milk doesn't stay on top for latte art
Edit: I've noticed using buffalo whole milk to creat more foam Wich is better for latte art I guess, it still takes a lot of practice
i made mine with my 0.19$ milk frother
why not use a small plastic microwaveable jug instead
Dollar sign goes before the 15.
Yes I am French, I sometimes make this kind of mistake !
@@CoffeetoArt No problem really. This minor mistake happens with Americans sometimes too. 🙂
bro i got it for $2 in daisō
Where's daisō?
In China it just cost 15¥
15$? We can get this with 2$ in Bangladesh
My frother is weak :(
Compre uno y fue lo peor nisiniera prendió
How Much Milk Fat Do You Need Sir ??
3 to 3.5% fat should be good !
@@CoffeetoArt Thank u Sir

I got it for less than a dollar from a local store 🤣
Yeah they are way cheaper in certain area !
😂😂😂 You got ripped off.
I paid .25 cents.
@@MrMnmn911 😂😂😂😂
Huv much
i think that milk is too thick
I think its fake. the results were too good for a handheld milk frother.
Did you try? It's easy to make it right !
@@CoffeetoArt yes I have one of these and never managed to get microfoam for Latte art out of it. Its always like foam with milk at the bottom.
Meanwhile me who uses a roughly 2.5$ milk frother
IKEA sells these for literally 1.99 lol
Hey Nick ! They make their own milk frother for 5.99 !
"Froth" doesn't offer any explanation to someone who doesn't know what to do. Are you moving the frother in any sort of direction or depth? Are you looking out for any signs of what the milk should look like? Useless video.
Thank you Patrick for the comment. I'll more specific in the futur.
A microwave should not be used in making any coffee whatsoever

Maybe yes !
