This video shows you how to use a milk frother to get the most amount of froth! Half and half is used in the video, but this technique will work with just about any type of milk or coffee creamer. Make sure your mug/cup is big enough that you won't splash all over! Add a bit of milk, turn your milk frother on, and then gently move the electric whisk up and down through the milk. This motion should produce a velvety layer of froth! That's how you use a milk frother whisk - it's that simple!

“sticky outie thing” she’s so real
This is exactly what I was thinking. 😂😂
Stick it on ya tongue, make sure battery is good to go
That is the technical term - very rarely used by novice frothers
My mom thought it was the greatest thing ever making me do that when i was little.
Back then "here we go again" was my only thought. Now I'm realizing that she never once needed to know about the batteries. She just got a kick out of making me do it. Lol

I was making coffee and it went everywhere with this lol
same I had the same amount of half and half as her but it foamed all the way to the top of the mug then I tried pouring coffee in another mug then the foamy half and half but then it wasnt really foamy so I used the wand to froth the top of the coffee and it went all over the place.
@@akiraasmr3002 Hi there! We got you! We recommend only filling about 1/4 of your cup with milk. We also recommend going in an upwards and downwards motion for around 30 seconds to a minute. It helps if you tilt the cup to the side a bit too! Hope this helps! 😊

@@zulaykitchen Ok I will try this I have been making whipped coffee with ur frother for now and it is amazing. I want to get a pitcher for my oatmilk as well so when I foam it with the frother I can pour it and make latte art.
@@akiraasmr3002 Aww absolutely! Thank you so much!
When she showed us how to go up and down, I felt that.
Best video on how to froth I’ve seen. Tired of big fancy espresso machines!! 👍👍👍👍👍
LOVE the milk frother! In future videos, it might be helpful to use a cup/mug that's not the same color as the milk...makes it really hard to see! LoL
Thank you so much for the love and the feedback! We truly appreciate it! ❤️❤️❤️
Thanks for sharing. It's good to know you don't have to get the metal froth cup to make this work!
Thanks, I just get a brother and didn't know how to use it. I warmed the milk on the stove and added a little sugar to it, then frothed, came out perfect!
Good stuff! 😊
I got one yesterday and I was so excited to use it 😂
I have the same milk frother but i have never used it for milk ( i've used this for making scrambled eggs/omelets) so kinda cool seeing how your suppose to use it
Hey! Thanks for sharing! Yes, it's great for scrambled eggs too. As for milk, you can use skim milk or low-fat milk to get the best froth! 😊
I’m loving the product, who knew foamy milk would be tasty lol
Aww thank you so much! ❤️
Thanks for the video now I know what to do with this thing! The sticky-outie part of the battery is the positive terminal.
Yes I was doing it wrong after watching your video excited to make some coffee now
Yay! Thank you so much! ♥
You're supposed to leave the ribbon underneath the batteries that way you can pull them out easily when you need to change them.
Exactly
I thought she did that.
Thanks for the demo, I will be buying one here in the uk 🇬🇧
lifesaver! thank you!!

Thank u for sharing
Aww the sticky outie thing that's cute haha
Wow, my life has changed! Thank you!
It's our absolute pleasure! Thank you for the love! ❤️
I’m looking to buy one for home use, maybe for on the road. Thanks for showing how quick and easy it is to use. I feel a lot less intimidated by it now.
Watch me pull out my electric toothbrush first, like in Sheetz or Royal Farms, while trying to look all bougie. I just know that’ll happen.
For a frozen latte, use ice, milk, and hot cocoa mix. I twice brew my coffee real strong and add a 3 milk, 1 coffee ratio (fam don’t do coffee). As long as toppings fit through straw, u can fold them into ur blend.
Before pouring, drizzle the cup with cocoa/caramel syrup. Presentation matters. Reuse ur fancy McFrappe cup if u can. I’m sure there’s one in the car we could soak and scrub up a few times. Waste not, right?!
Good Job.
the legend says it still goes on and on
Oh I always wondered what that thing was called ... the little sticky outy thingy 😎🤔🔋🔋thank you!
I use heavy whipping cream frothed with powdered sugar.
Add my nice drip coffee(prefer a KONA blend).Excellent every time!!!
Starbucks is such a scam.
My coffee is pennies on the dollar 💵...
Wow! We are so glad you get to save money and enjoy a delicious coffee at home!
Just made my first cup, maxwell and half and half with sweet n low. Real treat, feel special can't afford in this day and age to even walk into a Starbucks or even walk by the damn place. Shows if you put your mind to it there are ways to save money everywhere we can. Have a blessed day everyone, it will get better. We are strong and we will get our America back
Thanks you! Would microwaving the foam/milk make a difference?
Hi! Thanks for asking! The temperature of the liquid doesn't really matter because the froth comes from the proteins in milk and it'll froth regardless if it's warm or cold. Pro tip, whole milk or cream incorporates air better so they'll froth easily! :)
Thanks
Absolutely!
I should call her
I felt this video needed to come with a disclaimer
I got mine from the BergHOFF brand, which came with no instructions to clean. It does come apart but I think running it under water might be best-thanks!!❤️
Absolutely! ❤️
I get a cup of boiling water and push the button and let it do that for a few seconds
Well damn way to skip the foreplay 😳 (1:20)
Jk 😂🤣 great video it helped out alot 🙌
Awesome!! So I'm doing it right then. I was told also it's all about the air to mix ratio 😂 Thanks for your video.
Now how come when you do it the liquid stays in the cup, but when I do it I’m covered in it? I feel like my frothier hates me
Thanks it really works to be honest I tried & got it exactly like u showed but it takes a lot time what if I use a electric beater instead that’s maybe a good ulternative so can u show some examples for how to make classy espresso like restaurants? Pls 😄
Thanks for your comment! Yes, we will be making more videos of how to make great coffee - stay tuned to our channel for them!
I use a Braun hand blender...one nanosecond and done!
Can you do a video demo of trying this for making hollendaise sause w/just 2 or 3 egg yokes, to see how it performs, in that regard?
That's a great suggestion, thank you! 😊
Mine came with no instructions. Do I froth the milk and then add the coffee? Will half and half froth better than whole or skim milk?
Should i do this in a different cup and then add this to the cup with raw coffee or add the raw coffee in this cup?
Does it heat the milk?
There’s frothy, then There’s creamy. Holy grail is both.
Should have watched this before making a huge mess/explosion in the kitchen lol.
Thanks!
Do you pour this on top of the coffee or pour the coffee into the cup? Or do you do this with the coffee already in there?
Before coffee! The oils in coffee and the extra non-cream liquid will make it difficult to create a good foam.
This is quite helpful. I tried frothing my coffee cup directly and made a mess like a dingus.
Me too, all over the counter
the milk was at a special temperature or at what temperature do you recommended
Best temperature is about 140 Fahrenheit. We made a new updated video with more full instructions as needed. For example, more wide cups are more helpful:
ruclips.net/video/XPwPo_iIDrs/видео.html
Sorry if this has been and answered, but once frothed then what? Do you poor coffee in the mug or the frothed milk on top of coffee in a different mug?
Also glad to see you don’t have to use metal container to froth. I will be trying again with my oat milk.
the milk is supposed to be heated to about 60 celius but not more then froth then pour into espresso or moka coffee.
Is the milk hot or cold ??
Thank you so much. I was getting so frustrated with not getting any froth. I thought I had to keep it below the surface of the milk.
You have to incorporate air. Hence, it shouldn't be touching the base if the cup.
Absolutely! Glad we were able to help! Froth comes from air being incorporated into the liquid. For the best results, use skim milk or low-fat milk since it'll froth better. We recommend generally going in an upwards and downwards motion for around 30 seconds to a minute. It helps if you tilt the cup to the side a bit too! 😊
@@zulaykitchen
With the wand I have, it doesn't take long at all, about 15 seconds and I have lots of froth, thanks to you. I wish I could attach a pic of it.
@@simplycurlyde That's amazing, thanks so much!! 😊
Ok so the metal part should TOUCH the bottom of the cup your all saying? I need exact instructions it won’t froth for me
If making a hot latte would you warm the milk up before hand?
Hi! Yes, you can! But take note that the temperature of the liquid doesn't really matter because the froth comes from the proteins in milk and it'll froth regardless if it's warm or cold. ❤️
Can it be applied to cold milk? I don't want to use steam since it contains water.
Check out this video: ruclips.net/video/XPwPo_iIDrs/видео.html
For cold milk, skim milk makes the best and most foam. if you have whole milk, it's recommended that you use HOT (not warm) milk. Hope that helps! The video above shows how it affects the foam in full :)
So I came on here because I tried this was some whole milk it did not froth st all. I bought the exact same one not sure what I’m doing wrong
Can I froth flavored coffee creamers?
Sure thing! Various milks and creamers will give different consistencies but all submit to being frothed! :)
Hi! Yes, you can froth flavored creamers! Results do vary based on the type of milk/creamer you use as well as the temperature of it. Check out our other video showing the different types of milk/creamer being frothed here: ruclips.net/video/SGPADyj_Dao/видео.html
How do you keep the springy thingy from coming off?
I have the same problem, It came off, and I don't know how to put it back
Is there a thing of frothing to much ?

The monent i stop frothing, the foam starts to deflate and within second its just normal milk. Why is that? Am i not doing it right?
Hi there! Try a larger container or a different type of milk. Skim or low-fat milk works best. Then, fill 1/4 of your cup with milk and froth away! with small cups it slips everywhere which is quite annoying, I tried doing this but it kinda splashed milk everywhere.

"the other little stickiatti thing" lol
Can i use mixer? Hand mixer?
Absolutely! But a handheld milk frother would be ideal for achieving velvety rich froth in seconds!

Can I do this with almond milk? Lol sorry for the dumb question, I’ve always been a plain tea drinker.

some almond milk is barista type and those hold more froth than the usual which in my experience easily lost its fluff

Does it also heat the milk?
does not bud
Hi! It doesn't heat up your milk like how an espresso machine does, but it does froth the same, if not better! You can froth milk either hot or cold at 1/100th the price of what an espresso maker costs.
If you put deep then machine will slow down is that only my problem or yours too
Hi there! Can you please reach out to support@zulay.net so we can help you out? 😊
Does the foam resist for a long time on top of the coffee?
If you heat the half and half to about 140 degrees before frothing and froth for over 30 seconds the froth will last 30 minutes
Was that whole milk, low fat, almond milk?
Hi! It was Half and Half. But everything you mentioned can be frothed! :)
Up & down , up & down and then boom …we have creamy milk 😬😂

Me using a frother to to froth milk
I'm using 2% Milk and I cannot for the life get more than a little froth....it keeps turning out mostly liquid. Is it the wrong milk I'm using? I usually microwave for 30 seconds and then froth after. Try* to froth after 🤣
Fat content matters. 2% has very little fat. Try heavy cream or even eggnog.
I like to call the sticky-outie thing the positive terminal.
Drove me nuts
Why does the froth go flat quickly ?
Hi! What type of milk do you use? If you go for skim or low-fat milk, it would foam better and bubbles will last much longer. Hope this helps! :)
@@zulaykitchen You said in answer to this question above: "Pro tip, whole milk or cream incorporates air better so they'll froth easily! :)" so I am confused. I just bought whole milk, which I never drink by itself, when I usually drink skim. What's the logic behind having lower fat milk?
@@barbarasylvain5060 Hey there! Thank you so much for reaching out! Traditionally, whole milk or half and half is used for lattes but we’ve found that skim milk and other lower fat milk tends to produce more foam because of the protein content in them.
