    This is a very useful video. I was given a stand alone Nespresso frother (not attached to a coffee maker, like in this video). There was no manual and I couldn't figure out how to turn it on. I was about to chuck it in the bin when I searched RUclips and found this video. From now on I'll heat and froth my milk before I put it into my coffee. Many thanks!.

    Good vid thanks! I just tried mine first time today. What I don’t understand is how to get the milk warm enough for Latte level. I press quick on the button which goes red. Then I run it 80 seconds (according to manual). The milk froths lovely but it doesn’t go warmer than lukewarm at best. What am I doing wrong?

    • @A2BProductions
      @A2BProductions  5 месяцев назад

      Hi 👋 It sounds like you’re stopping the frother after 80 seconds is that right? If so you need to let it run until it stops running itself. They are designed to stop when they hit a certain temperature as I understand it. Hope this helps.

    Thanks for this simple video. I have followed the instructions as perfe tly as I can imagine, including using whole milk, yet it varies dramatically how frothy I can get the milk. I'm in Norway rather than engliand, could it be something with the specific fat content of the milk? I had the idea that higher fat content was better, so the last time I tried I used organic whole milk from Røros with 4% fat, pluss a few drops of heavy cream/whipping cream (kremfløte) from Tine (37% fat), no success, very little froth. Could it make a difference if I filled in a millimeter above or below the first line? Could it make a difference weather the milk is freshly opened from today versus having been open in the fridge for a few days? Could it be too much fat content? Any other tips to consider?

    • @violetviolet888
      @violetviolet888 2 года назад +1

      Every factor you mentioned could have an effect on the froth. Just keep trying until you find something that works. Try 2% fat milk which is what the company recommends. Too much fat is too heavy for aeration.

    • @penname5766
      @penname5766 2 года назад

      I would imagine the heavy cream will weigh it down if anything and prevent it from frothing? The variation could just be due to the temperature of the milk, I’m guessing, as some parts of a fridge can be colder than others and on some days you might’ve had the milk standing out of the fridge for longer if you’re doing other things. Anyway, I’ve noticed the same thing.

      Oh and this is with cashew milk.

    • @rickb296
