The 80s continues to be one of the most iconic eras for animated series. And one of the shows that helped kickstart it was Thundarr The Barbarian - a story set in a dystopian future of 3994 AD where the world is a ruined wasteland. Three friends, Thundarr, Princess Ariel, and Ookla the Mok go on adventures across this wasteland.
The show was created by the iconic Steve Gerber and produced by Ruby-Spears Production. It ran for two seasons, with season one having thirteen episodes and season two having eight. It’s a shame that it was discontinued.
Thundarr The Barbarian soon became an iconic show which took inspiration from several notable works and inspired more works in the future, namely, He-Man. In this video, we will talk about why the show is an 80s glory. We will also talk about our main characters and go over some interesting facts about the show.
I'm 51 and still fondly remember Thundarr. I can't believe it was 40 years ago. I always wanted to see a modern reboot with some of the antagonists.
Same here.
I'm 50 and I totally agree. I loved this cartoon. Getting up at 7 am on a Saturday just to watch cartoons.
50 here and yep; I want a reboot series. Maybe a movie as well?

I second that motion!!! 🤠👍
When this debuted in ‘80, I think my 7 year old brain melted. It had everything I loved - high technology/sci-if/swords and sorcery all in a post apocalyptic world. It had some of the most baked and creepy villains.
My brother and I would often play “barbarians”, which was essentially a ripoff/smash up of Thundarr, Mad Max, Star Wars, and D&D. Riding our bikes, swinging sticks, and having adventures out in the woods. Good times.
We did, too! I hope your adventures live on and you can reminisce about them!
I was 14 and lived in Newark, NJ. Imagining a dystopian future wasn’t difficult in the inner city, without all the abandoned houses and various buildings. My friends and I had a blast playing a combination of Thundarr and Snake Plissken. Great memories!
@@philosophicalviking6808 I can somewhat relate . . . I grew up in the sticks outside Buffalo, NY, which was in the midst of its death throes. All the factories were shutting down, people were fleeing south with the jobs, and all of the farmers outside the city were dying off, leaving behind a used up husk - both in the city and rural communities around it (many of the suburbs were still doing ok). We played a lot out in the woods and around the old abandoned farms, mill ruins, and disused rail lines.
I love the fact you guys used a healthy dose of Escape from New York in there too. Had we been in a more urban area, that definitely would have been another go to setting. 🤘🏻
Good times!
We're of the same vintage it seems. Were you as disappointed as I was when 1994 came around and the Earth wasn't nearly destroyed?
Bionic Six, Defender of the Earth, and Dungeons & Dragons anyone?!?
As a kid I LOVED the intro of this show. The showing of the Earth’s apocalypse in the future down to the music. Everything about it was spectacular and grabbed my attention.
🗿💯❤💯❤🗿
Simply one of the beat ever!
they wrnt too far off w/th prophetic intro...instead of a runaway planet that splits th moon in 2, it was a russian spacecraft crashin into th moon and shiftin its orbit enuf for MASSIVE tsunamis and utter destruxyun...see yall in th dystopian not-so-distant future!
If you grew up watching escape from New York you're gonna always love thundar the barbarian

An underappreciated cartoon way ahead of it's time. RIP Thundarr, along with Stan Lee's "Spiderman And His Amazing Friends" and "D&D"; which even had a written episode that was never created and has turned viral by fans.
I remember those shows too, worth it.
LOVED this show as a kid. Bought the entire series on DVD as an adult and watched every episode. It still holds up.
I loved this show as a kid. 80s was the time for every child to stay inside until 1pm until every cartoon is done.
Then if you didn't have anywhere to go or if it was snowing there would be monster and Kung Fu movies!
@@p.d.l7023 this is how I got turned onto Abbott and Costello. Sherlock holmes. Charlie Chan. Cartoons would be done and afternoon movies came on at 12

Kung fu theater after cartoons
@@p.d.l7023 Yes, me too! I remember watching Hammer horror movies and kung-fu movies on Black Belt Theater. And wrestling, with guys like Dick the bruiser here in Indiana.
I still remember when this debuted in 1980 when I was 5. My Mother, Stepfather and I all watched Thundarr faithfully every Saturday morning and were immediately hooked! I got the complete series from the Hanna-Barbera website and still watch it faithfully to this day. "ARIEL, OOKLA, RIDE!"
The best
I was 5 when it came out to.i loved this show.one of my all time favorites.
What’s funnier it was originally done by 2 Hanna Barberra defectors ( Ruby Spears) who wanted to break away and start there own production house. Years later after the show folded it would get absorbed into HB,
Me too!😁
I've got the set as well friend, cheers!
This and the herculoids was awesome of course johnny quest, pirates of the dark water and space ghost dont forget biiiirrrrrrd maaaaan! 😂🤙
Pirates of dark water was amazing, bothered the hell out of me that I never got to see a happy ending

I definitely remembered Thundarr the Barbarian. One thing about Ariel was she almost seemed like she was in the wrong time because she seemed to know the significance of the ruins they came across, hinting that along with studying magic she also studied history as well, which gave her character more substance beyond her being a magical character.
yeah her backstory was the daughter of one of the wizard overlords, so she had an education most in this world can scarcely imagine.
Yes she was well educated. It’s likely that Thunder and Ookla were never even taught to read.
@@rthomas1031 Hmm... Thundarr definitely struggles with basic reading. moks? I dunno, i think they have some sort of mok glyphs, but not the same as reading humans tuff.
Stop caring about some eye candy.
In this kind of show, having a character who explains everything lets you get to the action faster.
I didn't forget Thundarr The Barbarian. I freakin loved this show. I have fond memories of returning back from school with my brothers to watch it. As a girl it was dope seeing the sorceress Princess Ariel do her thing, helping to kick ass! I found it far more enjoyable than Conan The Barbarian and similar shows at the time
Don't forget that Ariel's budding power of Ecomancer was sadly never explored after that discovery. That hinted that she could have eventually led to the complete restoration of Earth... but the series' short life because of a crappy cartoon to be shoved into its slot replaced it. Ariel could have been Thundarr the Barbarian's big-picture world-saver while the other two in Thundarr's trio were her sword and shield. She was almost a potential metaphorical nature goddess.
@@That80sGuy1972 See that's the funky thing.... Its hinted in the show that the way the world currently is... is not natural at all. How much of that is due to evil wizards?
@@marhawkman303- I'm afraid that we're the "evil wizards" with our industrial plants, cheeseburger and steak farms, and gas-guzzling vehicles. And no sorceress will save us from ourselves.
@@loki2240 In all good fiction, Man is the real monster... because art should always imitate life.
Thundarr rocked. That was one of my main go to cartoons of my childhood growing up. If there is a reboot, I hope it does Thundarr justice.
This show only had 21 episodes I thought it had more but this was like a combo of Star wars and He man series and that princess was sexy
If done right and have the production quality of Lord of the rings it could be a great movie.
Best to leave the past where it is. The way companies put the trash ofsocial issues in even cartoons nowadays, it would be total garbage. let entertwinment be just that, and quit pushing agendas. Evil vs. good should be enough, without all the added bs.
You can see "JACK THE KING KIRBY" work all in this amazing 1980s cartoon, one of my favorite cartoons of all time!
That's what I thought!
You can see a lot of his character Kamanda in this show..
I can't thank you or agree with you enough for your statement. TRULY was the king of comic book character art and background artwork as well. One of a kind.
Absolutely.
The opening start of Thunder The Barbarian with the world going into chaos, sent chills down my spine... I would think to myself, one day that could happen.
When 1994 rolled into 1995, everyone took a breath of relief that everything was still here!
Lol! I remember my brother and I asking our mom when we saw that intro, "Mom, how old will we be in 1994?" She answered, "You guys 'll be 20 years old." "Oh. Well, that's all right, then," we said, with sighs of relief (being 6, we thought 20 sounded ancient...ROFL!).
😂😂😂 me too.
It's happening in Ukraine right now.
It will, that show is both the far future and ancient past.
I was 11 years old when Thundarr the Barbarian came out. I absolutely loved it! Scifi and fantasy elements. It was like D&D, Heavy Metal movie, Conan, Star Wars, and so much more wrapped up into one awesome show!
I think that the Death Lands book franchise has a lot of Thundarr the Barbarian type influences in a more adult format.
I remember when my aunt, living right next door, first got cable, and Cartoon Network began shortly after she got it. 24 hours of cartoons blew my young mind, I discovered many cartoons I had not seen before, and some of them became instant favorites. Thundarr the Barbarian was most definitely on that list of favorites, truly ahead of its time, and even if short-lived, it's indeed an absolute classic.
For many years, I have wished that Thundarr could return, maybe in comic book form.
I love how this cartoon did NOT have a cutesy sidekick like Gleek, Orko, Blip, or Snarf. The futuristic version of Earth was so mind blowing and inventive.
I can't believe there were only 21 episodes!!
Probably lucky to get that many, given how fickle and cheap the big 3 networks were. Network saturday morning toons were notorious for making 13 episodes for a season, then even less if it got a second season. Spider-Man and his Amazing friends only had 24 episodes over 3 years.
It did have a sidekick character though. Cutesy is subjective but Ookla was forced on the writers by the network. They wanted a Chewbacca Star Wars type character. Originally it was just supposed to be Thundarr and Ariel. I somehow feel as though I would have preferred this.
@@Fektthis Ookla wasn't cute...he was towering beast of a humanoid!
@@kforcer Chewbacca wasn't cute either.. Or was he? Cuz I had a stuffed Chewbacca and it was cute! But yeah, not so much cute but more a side kick. Might as well have been a great dane or something
@@Fektthis Hmmm....very, very interesting. I did not know that. Personally, Ookla never bothered me, but just Thundarr and Ariel could have been pretty cool.
Gemini is one of the most underrated cartoon villains of both the 80's and in general. Shame this cartoon didn't have toys and at least a comic mini-series. A whole passel of us were sure it was going to at least get considered for a live action version. We loved this show. It was, understandably, as if a great comic had come to life; it had a slowly growing world being built. Thanks for giving it the review it deserves.
He was voiced by the same guy who voiced Ookla. That guy voiced Fred Flintstone, and the original voice actor Alan Reed passed away.
they did have toys little rubber things that came three to a pack at the dollar store
I would have loved those, whatever they were. In my neck of the woods there was only cartoon (and that single panel drawing for them in the comic books' TV guide page, which always looked way lower than the show's art, if I recall).
This show needs a live action remake with GEMINI as the main villain!
@@snarqj Mindok was the one who gave me the creeps.
LOVED this cartoon. Missed it when it ended. Loved watching Ookla getting into mischief.. The whole cartoon was good.
As a 10 yr old, I loved Thundar. Got the whole series on DVD several years ago. Great stuff.
_Thundarr the Barbarian_ was and always will be one of my all-time favourite animated series. It far surpasses the vast majority of claptrap that's being produced today. The characterization and stories were great, and the visuals were extremely creative. Of course, with legends like Jack Kirby and Alex Toth providing the designs, they couldn't have been anything less. I still recall the three most famous lines uttered by Thundarr to this day.
1. Lords of Light!
2. Demon Dogs!
3. Ariel, Ookla ... RIDE!
I remember those phrases.
#3 is so "Hi Yo Silver, AWAY".
Love it.
This show was so good, even my dad liked it! On bike riding day, my dad would yell me and my brother's names and follow it with: RIIIIIIDE!!!!! The only way I would like to see a remake of this is if they added a bit more realistic violence (show what the Sunsword could really do when swung against flesh) and updated the animation but kept the same plots and characterizations; I don't want to see Thundarr and Ookla as a couple and Ariel hooked up with Abby from The Last of Us 2.....
As a diehard Conan fanboy, Thundar was my favorite and the closest we had at the time to REH's barbarian. Damn shame it was cancelled so quickly.
Agreed 💯
He was kinda stupid to not realize he had the only sexy clean woman within twenty miles anywhere. It had a great original world but like you said not given a chance to develop more lore.
Old classic series like these need to be put in the right hands and revived into new shows.
That's impossible. Thundarr would be turned into a female poc so she could then have a lesbian relationship.
@@butthand4342 Especially with Arielle bringing the booty to 'Show and tell.' 😅
As long as it's not Kevin Smith
Absolutely true
I agree, this show and others like Herculoids are ripe for a remake with the right writers and producers behind them. It would be awesome to see Thundarr and Herculoids redone using modern animation techniques and technology.
As a 7 year old, Thundarr, Princess Ariel, and our lovable Ookla were an inspiration for my entire life. We should all be so Awesome.
These are the cartoons I use to watch. Getting up early to watch my favorite shows like G.I. Joe, Transformers, He-Man, Thunder Cats, Voltron, Smurfs and many more. We still got to play outdoors and a quarter got you a treat. How times have changed. Kids can't live without electronics, are selfish little punks and have no respect for anybody.
(3:37) This shot of the sword activating is AWESOME! This was one of my favorite shows as a kid. Still is! 😉
This cartoon rocked my kid brain.
It’s awesome and still is!
I loved Thundarr that guy was a wild man when he did his battle yell while swinging that sword.
One of the most memorable cartoons ever. It should never have been cancelled. The music and action were perfect.
I own the tee shirt and wear it proudly. This was my favorite cartoon growing up. I was Born in 1973. I am celebrating my 50th Birthday today. Thundarr had to be part of it. This truly was the best cartoon and it was a disgrace that it ended so soon.
Thundarr was some! This and the Pirates of Dark Water were cancelled too soon. They both deserve reboots.
I miss Saturday morning cartoons. This was a favorite of mine. So glad I grew up when I did.
Boomerang showed the entire series when the channel was just starting out in the early 2000s. I was lucky enough to catch it on homemade DVDs. I remember watching the original on network TV on Saturday mornings when my brother and I were first-graders. :) Great premise!
Jack Kirby’s Kommandee was a total inspiration for this show. When I found out he had a hand in its production I wasn’t surprised.
The character design, especially on the villains, is classic Kirby.
Even as a little kid, this cartoon stood out to me more than others. That was in the mid-80s on the USA Cartoon Express, even after He-Man, She-Ra, and all the rest had aired. Thundarr was just so cool and not to be missed.
This is one of my favorite all time Saturday morning cartoons along with Johnny Quest, Flash Gordon, and the Herculoids
Wow, those were my exact faves too. Plus Dungeons & Dragons and Blackstar!
I loved this show when it came out back in 1980. Wow i cannot believe that was over 42 years ago.
With Jack Kirby and Alex Toth doing character design for the animation, how can you go wrong? There was also some Kirby plots for "Kamandi, Last Boy on Earth" lifted wholesale for Thundarr.
I remember it well, could not get enough of it. They only gave us two seasons and we were so disappointed!!!!
All I gotta say is that thumbnail is the sickest thing I've ever seen! I grew up watching Thundar and it was literally one of my favorite cartoons, totally inspired me in terms of the direction I went in my life drawing monsters and creatures. It had such a lively array of characters that all had horror and sci-fi elements. Thundar is an absolute treasure, thank you so much for this comprehensive video highlighting this amazing cartoon.
One of my favorite cartoons as a kid. a lot of the "cliché" things people prob see watching it today were a lot more fresh back then. Was the closest a lot got to a "Shadowrun" cartoon as you could back then, blending fantasy and Sci-fi in a Earth style setting.
Lords of Light! You will not make slaves of humans wizard!
@@warface4881 Demon Dogs!!
@@wharfrat74 hellz yeah!
When TSR released their Gamma World "expansion" (we'd call it today) to D&D rules, we set our adventures in Thundarr's post-apocalyptic world, instead of the book's version.
I would say more “Rifts” than “Shadowrun” but you’re absolutely right!
The show kicked off the Barbarian craze of the 80’s. The show was supposed to have serial episodes, but Ruby and Spears decided to make each episode a separate story line for syndication and reruns. So, the original story line was supposed to have Thundarr, Ookla, and Princess Ariel fight the 13 wizards that ruled Earth and free the people from enslavement.
That could be the plot for the movie if they were to make it into a live action movie which based on the fact it's a Sci-fi Fantasy show. If well written and they cast a very good director along with a great cast of actors this show could be a awesome franchise.
I really like post-apocalyptic settings,Thundarr would make a good tv series and movies. And wouldn't be a reboot or sequel to anything, something people haven't heard of.
Loved waking up on Saturday morning in the 80's...Saturday mornings was Amazing growing up....I loved the sound his sword made when it would come out..priceless
Thundarr. One of my faves as a kid. USA Cartoon Express baby!
I've got every episode on DVD 📀
One of the coolest cartoons ever.
I totally remember watching this on Saturday mornings way back when. THUNDARR THE BARBARIAN was an amazing cartoon for it's time.
Wow, I totally forgot about this. Thundarr The Barbarian was absolutely Great! I loved this show when I was a little kid. Such a shame that it didn't last a long longer. And WHY didn't they make any toys or action figures. Everyone I knew back then wanted a Sun Sword!
I was an adult when this came out and I still loved it. The world has so many potential stories its unreal. Its a crime this world hasn't been made into an entire book series.
I am Senior citizen with Autism, and Thundarr the Barbarian came out when I was 22. I was turned-on by the mashing of Sci-Fi and Sword & Sorcery together in this cartoon. Mutants, Aliens, Sorcerers, and High Technology.
I LOVED this show as a kid. One of those that I think could really benefit from a reboot. A modern take on it with today's animation would be fantastic.
Thundarr was definitely helped by the popularity of Star Wars. Star Wars came out in 1977 and in 1980 Empire Strikes Back was released, the same year as Thundarrs debut, so Star Wars fever was at it's height. I know that the similarities to Star Wars attracted me to Thundarr as a kid - like the lightsaber type sword, the wookiee type sidekick, and the combination of fantasy and sci fi elements.
You basically said what I was going to say, thank you friend.
"Centuries ago in the time of the great catastrophe my body was wounded beyond all repair".
"Thundarr the Barbarian" one of my favorites tv shows when I'm a child, the spanish dubbing done in Mexico was just phenomenal. That and my love for Star Wars are the reason why I am a SciFi fan, I guess
Greetings from a mexican old fashioned 80's tv shows super fan
I watched this cartoon faithfully every Saturday morning.
This show was criminally underrated.
The voice actors made this cartoon enjoyable as well.
Thundarr was by far one of the best action cartoons I grew up watching on Saturday mornings and will always be an all time classic
This cartoon is a classic here in Brazil, everybody my age loved it!!!
This is a show I could see being reborn under the right stewardship. It wasn't a horrible idea at the time, even for a kids show. Arguably it was more fleshed out than some of the other 80's cartoons.
Unfortunately today it would be rewritten and ruined aka too woke. I’m not against all wokeness, but look st how Star Wars and He-Man were ruined. Men & Women can both be heroes. Don’t need to crush one to make the other better. Maybe a neutral writer could get the job done.
Loved this show as a kid, probably my favorite Cartoon.
How you got through the description of the Sun Sword without saying lightsaber is remarkable.

Such a great show. This and Dungeons and Dragons were pretty huge to me growing up.
Loved this show as a kid!
One of my absolute favorite cartoons when it first aired. I loved the mix of sorcery and science.
This was one of my favorite cartoons! Thank you!
Truly iconic and classic blending of sci-fi and fantasy genre concepts. Thundarr, the first barbarian with a lightsaber. I mean come on that's all you need to see. Definitely in the Hall of Fame. Back when people had imagination.
Thundarr the Barbarian was one of my favorite cartoons growing up, along with The Herculoids, Thundercats, and my absolute favorite, Dungeons and Dragons. Oh, and I can't forget Pirates of Dark Water! Man, cartoons back then were just special.
Everything about this show was fantastic. Creative enemies, magic swords, great animation. We’ll never see anything like it again.
The closest I've seen of a show like this is Adventure Time and Son of Zorn. Son of Zorn was cancelled too early and was just what you would think Thundarr would be like in the modern (live action) world.

NO! Bring it back in animated form.
@@jaysonraphaelmurdock8812 Yes, animated form. I'd love to see this return.
No, they would just ruin it anyway. I would rather keep my good memories than have to see some crappy remake or bad live action movie.
In the current cultural climate.... it would not be anything resembling Thundar of old, just look at what happened to He-Man >.>
Facts. They could give it the Castlevania treatment. Give us a reboot, make it dark and violent, and adult-themed. It would be lit.
I always thought that Aerial was beautiful. I also appreciated the blending of science and magic, as though magic was some extension of advanced technology. (This motif was expanded upon in Babylon 5 with the introduction of the Technomages.) I also could really appreciate the rich, complex world that was being fleshed out a little more in each episode, as they knew that us kids were intelligent enough to put all these puzzle pieces together to understand the world instead of presenting us a simple, one-dimensional world with no interesting texture to it.
B5 was excellent.
This was must-see Saturday morning TV for me as a 70s-80s kid! I loved seeing so many "modern" iconic locations being devastated ruins, making the future Earth as much of a character as Thundarr. I remember the show fondly to this day, even as I see the animation hasn't aged all that well. Rather than a new cartoon, I would prefer to see a comic book adaptation similar to the ones done for Space Ghost and The Herculoids a few years ago that fleshes out their backstories while also continuing their adventures.
The most 80's Saturday morning Action cartoon to ever be created.
I've always loved Thundarr the Barbarian. It would make for an excellent live-action film or even an updated version.
10:01 "If it had come out later the popularity of Star Wars would have surely helped increase the popularity of Thundaar." Star Wars (1977) came out before Thundaar (1980). Star Wars was huge even in 77. Thundaar was definitely inspired by it. Hence the Sunsword and the Wookie-looking sidekick. Be that as it may, I loved this show. Thanks for posting
Thundarr was Possibly my favorite action cartoon !
Saw thundarr on CN during the golden age. His show was really good. It's just sad that he and his friends don't get the respect they deserve.
I really miss watching this show as a kid. I was often torn between this cartoon and He-man growing up (I did lean more towards He-man) but I ultimately loved them both! I used to think that Thundarr was He-man's brother 😄 lol. But honestly they REALLY need to make a reboot of this cartoon..... they did it with so many others, and this was a really popular cartoon back when I was a kid. I so mad when it went off the air. And as far as the show being cancelled due to violence..... WHAT!?!?!? There were so many cartoons back then and NOW that equally if not more violent than this (I mean if that WAS the real reason other than what they said the other reason was) so that's BULLSHIT in my opinion. But never the less BRING BACK THUNDARR.
I feel the same way. He-man was ready to redeem bad guys and provide moral lessons. Thundarr just wanted to kick ass.
This was so true. Then all of a sudden. The T V net work environment stated it was to violent. All thundar did was fight and kick ass. Where as Herculoid's gave you moral authority
I'm sure thundar will get a reboot. The only question is will identity politics be a factor? I hope not. If thundar is bisexual or Ariel and the world they co exist is really so upside-down there will be a problem. I'm for the reboot but I want it simple with a bump in technology
We are from the same era and I agree 100%
I loved both shows would've had tpys.

All the good 80's cartoons taught great moral lessons.
Great video! I absolutely loved and enjoyed this series as a kid! A cult classic!
I always wanted this show to come back.
Thundar was banging as hell. WAAAAAY ahead of it's time. It took a lot from HeMan but Star Wars is also present in it's presentation. As a 11/12 year old, my imagination was turned on it's head. They don't make them like this anymore.
A damn shame.
I was 1 when it started, but thank god for re-runs back in the day! TBS got me :05 start times for wrestling and some of my favorite movies of all-time including Jaws and re-runs in the Saturday Morning cartoon slots got me hooked on anything Hannah-Barbera, Space Ghost is in a class of it's own honestly, Herculoids is one not many people know about, Laff-A-Lympics was great, Speed Racer along with Voltron (though not Saturdays for me) were my 1st exposure to "anime" lol. Good times my man!
You mean He Man took a lot from Thundarr. Thundarr was first.
Both this show and Galtar And The Golden Lance were favorite shows of mine. Cartoon Network showed them some time in the mid-90s. I seem to remember a magical armlet in Galtar And The Golden Lance that had gems on it, and had specific abilities related to each gem. Thought it was a neat item. Hadn't heard of the Infinity Gauntlet and Stones from Marvel comic books at that point in my life. Oh, and Galtar has only 21 episoded too. Hope y'all manage to cover that show at some point.
Thundar, Galtar and Space Ghost where among my favorite on CN. There were also The Herculoids, Birdman and Galaxy Trio. Good times, good times.
An episode that stuck out in my mind as a kid was where they went back to "present day" earth. They made friends with a kid and at the end of the episode she asked them to take her to the future with them, and they said no. And I remember thinking, "That's mean, you know she's gonna die in 1994 when that comet thing happens. Might as well take her with ya!".
Thundarr the Barbarian was a fantastic show. Great video bringing back those enemies.
The art style and character design always impressed bme

Looking at that thumbnail picture painting makes me think there can actually be a live motion picture made about *Thundarr The Barbarian* , I mean that realistic looking artwork is just beautiful...
I love stories that are set in a post cataclysm/apocalyptic earth, specially since one can't help to think that such settings were all inspired by Clarck Ashton Smith's writings on the land of Zothique.
You lost a lotta folks there. Can't imagine too many folks know Klarkash-Ton these days.
How about Genesis with Alex Cord, or Planet Earth with John Saxon a continuation of the first set 133 years or so in the future
I will always remember the feeling of existential dread washing over me like that giant tsunami in the intro.
